Avier slumps, resting on his shield, ”So I guess we’re not getting paid if we don’t go to Cragmaw Castle? Wherever it is. I mean, I guess we’ll have to do the right thing?”
Sildar responds “Well I don’t know about that. You can still turn your good in at the trading post in Phandalin and I will pay you an additional 50 gold if you escort me there.”
Avier spreads his arms wide, straightening up at the sound of shortening his journey and getting paid for it, "Now that sounds like a good deal to me! What do you say, guys?"
"As long as no more of them damned goblins show up. I've seen enough of em fer the rest of me life." Cormac says as he keeps a close watch on the goblin.

"We must make our way to Cragmaw Castle soon...", Sylric blurts out as he shakes his head to clear the cobwebs, once again. He shuffles toward Yeemik, pulls himself up to his full height, and extends a gaunt finger toward his face. In common, "You have been untterly defeated. Had you behaved honorably you would now have been in control of this horde, but now your minions are dead and you are at our mercy." Sylric moves his face closer to the goblin's, "Tell us where this Cragmaw Castle lies, how to get there, and what to expect regarding its defenses. Tell us as if your life depends on it." Sylric chuckles to himself as he stands upright. As he shuffles away he turns over his shoulder to add, "Because it does...your life, I mean, depends on your accuracy and forthcoming...you see? The more accurate and complete your telling, the more likely we will let you live...yes? Yes?" He shuffles, he chuckles, he lights his pipe and sits down on a nearby boulder.
Yeemik glares at Sylric then shrugs. “Old castle. A day walk northeast of here. Lots of goblins led by King Grol. Don’t know much more, I live here, not there.”
Sildar responds to Cormac: “More than five hundred years ago, clans of dwarves and gnomes made an agreement known as the Phandelver’s Pact, by which they would share a rich mine in a wondrous cavern known as Wave Echo Cave. In addition to its mineral wealth, the mine contained great magical power. Human spellcasters allied themselves with the dwarves and gnomes to channel and bind that energy into a great forge (called the Forge of Spells), where magic items could be crafted. Times were good, and the nearby town of Phandalin prospered as well. But then disaster struck when a powerful force of orcs reinforced by evil mercenary wizards attacked Wave Echo Cave to seize its riches and magic treasures.
Human wizards fought alongside their dwarf and gnome allies to defend the Forge of Spells, and the ensuing spell battle destroyed much of the cavern. Few survived the cave-ins and tremors, and the location of Wave Echo Cave was lost.
However, three dwarves known as the Rockseeker brothers (Gundren, Tharden, and Nundro) recently located an entrance to the long-lost Wave Echo Cave, site of the mines of the Phandelver’s Pact.
Gundren had a map showing the secret location of Wave Echo Cave, but the goblins took it when they captured him. That’s why I think that Klarg sent the map and the dwarf to the chief of the Cragmaws at Cragmaw Castle.”
Sildar says “I am worried about Gundren, but unfortunately I have other business I have to attend to. I can’t go looking for him now, and if you won’t or can’t one of the first things I’ll do once I get into town is alert the authorities that can try to pull a group together that can hopefully find him.”
"Nah I'll be helpin ya find the fool. Must ave his brothers worried half ta death or I'll be shavin me beard and calling meself a gnome with a growth spurt." Cormac says as he taps his fingers along the handle of his Warhammer.

Gwyyn replies ”Sounds good to me. Let’s make sure we have everything valuable here and get moving. Besides, I want to drop this goblin off and let the town deal with him.”
If no one has anything left to add, the group gathers the carts and horses, loads up the treasure from Klarg’s cavern, and continues the journey to town. Sildar grabs a short sword from one of the dead goblins as his gear was taken with Gundren to Cragmaw Castle.
(I’ll post a full list of everything gathered in a little bit).
The group gets everything loaded up which includes a treasure chest that contains 600 cp, 110 sp, ( one healing potion was used, 1 has been passed out, and Flint has the jade frog), plus the sacks and crates of supplies marked with the image of a blue lion that Flint identified as the symbol of the Lionshield Coster, a merchant company with a warehouse and trading post in Phandalin.
After some time of traveling down the road, the rutted track emerges from a wooded hillside, and you catch your first glimpse of Phandalin. The town consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings, some built on old fieldstone foundations. More old ruins — crumbling stone walls covered in ivy and briars — surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in centuries past. Most of the newer buildings are set on the sides of the cart track, which widens into a muddy main street of sorts as it climbs toward a ruined manor house on a hillside at the east side of town.
As you approach, you see children playing on the town green and townsfolk tending to chores or running errands at shops. Many people look up as you approach, but all return to their business as you go by.
Sildar seems much more at ease.
“My friends,” he says, “let us secure lodgings. I’m told the local inn is very quaint.”
As the group enters into town from the north, Sildar answers.
“Why, yes to both. Barthen’s is the red building there on our left. The next big building just past it is the inn. Lionshield Coster is the large building on the other end of town square.”
Cormac will follow then into town but seems to have his mind on other things. "We need to be findin the brothers as soon as possible. I ain't gonna let no durned goblins kill any of me kin even if we aren't related by blood."
