50 feet ahead of you, on the right, you see a place where you could easily steer the wagon away from the road. There's only a few bushes here but you could spend a good hour cleaning the area and pull the wagon 20 feet further into the woods where you could tie off the oxen and leave them with some food.
"How important is time? If we can afford an hour I believe with some help we can get the wagon off the road and let the oxen be fed while we go. I suspect these goblins were the only bandits around here and it should be far enough off that no one steals it. Alternatively, we can head the rest of the way to drop off the wagon and return however if we do it might be too late to save these ones and who knows if more will be captured."
“How far away is this cave? I’m not looking to be a hero, but like I said, no employer, no pay. If it’s not too far away, maybe one of us can scout the entrance. I agree with Flint. We shouldn’t take too much time if we’re going to do this.”
"I think it would be mighty foolish to be lettin the durned thing free to walk. I doubt that a y of ye want to be chasing him if he tries to run." Cormac says as he moves to pull the goblin to it's feet.

"Fine but if ye make any move that I do not like..." As Cormac stops talking he simply nods towards the ar a where the other goblins corpse's laid. He moves to untie the goblins feet while carefully moving the rope to where it is around the goblin's is waist with amount that hangs for him to hold onto.

Sylric's eyes spring open as he calls out to any who can hear, "I will help to clear the area so the oxen are as safe as can be!" He bolts to standing, stows his pipe, and heads toward the pull off next to the road as fast as he can move.
"Must make haste! With leash upon him and cover his mouth...yes yes, must not let him call out to alert the guard...no no no!"
As he frantically works to clear the area for the wagon, "Well said to send a scout, yes yes...this spot is well used as an ambush, the trail to the cave should not be difficult to discern for one who sees...must use caution, but the Rockseer and the Castle Cragmaw..."
Avier helps Sylric clear an area for the wagon, but narrows his eyes as he sees Cormac untie the goblin, "Are you sure that's a good idea? I don't trust him one bit. His kind only behaves when fear holds them, but as soon as he thinks he can turn the situation against us, he will. They're crafty little creatures."
"Bah I only freed his legs. Left meself a nice handle to hold on to. Of course if ye be wantin to pull him along instead I can push em forward with me crossbow to his back." Cormac says as he looks toward Avier.

Avier puts on his shield and unhooks his morningstar, "I'll be keeping my hands preoccupied with these. If we're walking into enemy territory, we'd best be alert."
While they walk, Avier will ready himself to take a swing at the goblin should he cry out for help or start escaping.
Gwyyn pulls out a second dagger so that one is in each hand. She moves off to the left of the direction of travel and moves slightly ahead of the group, moving from bush to bush, tree to tree, watching out for danger.
Cormac will move to gag the goblin and push him forward. He will make sure to keep a tight hold on the small leash he made with one hand while the other rests on the pommel of his warhammer.

Sylric comes out of his trance and diligently helps Flint and Avier clear up the area where the wagon will stay while Cormac and Gwyyn keep questioning the goblin and take care of its restraints.
The oxen seem very grateful to Flint, and one of them puts its tongue straight on Flint's face, as it licks him to show appreciation. The dwarf ties them to a nearby tree and leaves food and water for them.
When the group is ready, you start walking down the trail that Sylric noticed after the fight. (I assume this is your marching order: Gwynn, Gnish - Avier, Cormac, Flint, Sylric).
Gwyyn moves deftly through the woods, generating less noise than the faintest whisper. 10 min into the woods, she spots a piece of rope laying on the forest floor. Closer investigation reveals a snare trap.
Gnish is making sounds, trying to speak. It is currently gagged.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gwyyn squints back at the goblin, then without a word moved slowly forward again watching for more traps and possible hidden beings watching the traps.
You follow the trail for another hour and a half. Marks on the ground show that some creatures have come and go along the trail, as well as signs of bodies being hauled away from the ambush site. Gwynn managed to spot a few more traps on the way, helping the party avoid problems on its way.
Gnish talks a lot over the first hour but eventually goes silent as nobody seems interested in chatting.
You eventually come across a large cave in a hillside five miles from the scene of the ambush. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side of the stream.
What do you do?

Is there anywhere off the road where Flint can hide the wagon? And leave a day or two worth of food with them
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

Hmm. Pro'ly two hours. If Gnish foots free, less.
