Here is the idea. I m working on how to make it possible on D&D Beyond.
You are Dragons from the same clutch and have a bond that will last for ages.
You will start lvl 1 hatchlings just out of the eggs and into a strange new world you know nothing about.
I'll create a Homebrew race and you'll have to stick to it because it will evolve with your age. Your race will evolve with each stage just like a dragon so you might need to create or recreate your character several times as the story unfolds.
The campaign will be about how dragons impact the world during the ages the other races, even the elves, see as history. Be ready to let your Dragon sleep for long periods of time and do some work with me to help me make the world evolve.
Here are the simple facts.
No alignment: In this world dragons have free will and can decide on their own.
Canonic are nice but you can be any dragon you want. Song, Sand, Shadow. Any. The most important part of the creation will be what your Nature is ( It will substitute Background ) and what is it you want in this game.
For once it is not so much the Character that will be selected but the player so don't hesitate to tell me what you want for this game.
There will still be classes but you will make your choices after you emerge into the world and depending on what you encounter. (A bit like real-world experience. )
PM me with your ideas.
Here is a description of where you emerge, once you struggle out of your egg.
''Liquid still clinging to your scales you blink several times to get the coat of protection fluid away from your eyes. Sound, light, and smell come to you in a rush and stun you for a few minutes. You stop struggling and lay on the cold marble floor, your agile mind processing all the new sensations quickly. Not far from you, you feel others waking. You don't know them but you feel stronger and reassured by their presence. For a while, you slumber.
Hunger wakes you, and you are not alone. In the large chamber, surrounding you, several of your brothers and sisters are stirring as well.
Your eyes and other senses have adjusted during your sleep. You look around, mesmerized by all the new emotions and sensations you have to deal with.
The room is huge, and you are all in the middle of it. Marble floor and walls surround you. They look ancient and huge statues look down on you. A glowing sphere moves around you in a predefined circle and with the help of the light it sheds, but not really need it, you can see a way out, a large tunnel leading south. A strange light is coming from the end of that path."
Here is how you need to make your application.
Don't hesitate to add or use the description above. But don't leave the room.
