After Selinae asked several questions to Nimb, he looked a tiny bit shocked, before responding: ”Fairfex, no, yes, neither, yes, yes, yes” Nimb said them all in quick succession, with only a split second to think between each word.
Selinae looked slightly disappointed as he started answering then smiled as he ended, " Pleased to make your acquaintance, Nimb Fairfex. I was hoping you might know my dad or his family. Littlestout? Probably not....."
She waved in a friendly manner to Anders as he left then turned to the others once he had done so.
" So..........has anyone done this sort of thing before? Because I...and I think Sybella at least....are a little new to the whole paid investigation bizzo."
Del looks at the orc Gom with fascination, both due to his size and obvious strength, but also his curious mannerisms, at least from what the naturalist had always heard of such creatures. The young genasi doesn't flinch in the slightest from the inquiring touch of the elf woman, merely returning an equally curious stare, paying particular attention to Sybella's upswept lobeless ears and sharply arcing eyebrows.
Nodding his head wordlessly at Anders' pronouncement, the long-haired, far-from-home traveller simply follows Jake and these other for the most part fascinating indiviudals. The instinctively curious Del is mentally cataloguing everything he sees regarding the races, physical characteristics, mannerisms and other notable features of everyone within the tavern. It will like prove quite disconcerting to some as he gets up close, sniffing, touching and asking wholly inappropriate, though ultimately scientific, questions.

Wicker Goat:
As you all wake in your individual areas you find the sun shining outside and the sounds of the seas outside. Those that stayed in the Wicker Goat can smell breakfast being cooked and laid out – the smell of bacon, eggs, and other assorted meats along with cheese and fruit wait for you down the stairs when you’re ready. A blonde bar maid is waiting as she sets the table and makes sure the buffet like spread is ready for the guests, working on getting drinks for those who are already up in between.
Jake:
You managed to make 5 pills before going to bed. Having finally found something worth you skills you managed to get a good night’s rest, awakened by the sun shining and the sounds of the ocean. As you wake up and look out through the window you can see grey clouds approaching, indicating a storm rolling through.
Sybella:
You wake to the sun shining and the sounds of the oceans, as you walk through the house you find it empty. You find spread out on the table some leather armor, a shortsword and rapier, along with a hand axe. Resting near the door is a longbow with a quiver of arrows and as you look closer at the armor a note rests on top of it.
Sybella,
I am so proud of you finally stepping out into the world and making an adventure instead of listening to stories. I had to step out to take care of some business but I’ve been stowing these until it was time for you to use them. Now go and continue to show the world why our name is to be remembered.

"Did you know that bacon tastes a lot like sea horse?"

The girl locks up her home and races to the Wicker Goat with the wind at her back, guiding her no doubt. For the first time in 40 years, she feels suddenly quite free and perfectly up for the challenges ahead. When she finally arrives at the front door of the Wicker Goat, she throws the door open and trots inside keeping her eyes peeled for any members of her new party with a smile that could blind a man.
It isn't very hard for her to spot Del. He sticks out like a beached whale as he asks her about beds.
"My experience has been most beds are quite nice, well, I've only ever slept on one anyway. I used to sleep in the alleyways, but it weren't so bad if you had enough newspapers and found someplace dry to sleep. That was the true challenge and where I first learned to scrap. Biggest and baddest biddy got to sleep where they wanted, yeah?
Wait, what do you mean on the surface?"Sybella reached out to poke Del on the arm as if she might pop him and he would splash onto the ground like a ruptured water balloon."Where did you say you was from again?"

Wait, what do you mean on the surface?" Sybella reached out to poke Del on the arm as if she might pop him and he would splash onto the ground like a ruptured water balloon. "Where did you say you was from again?"
