Breeze was lost in thought. Watching the others come on board and introduce themselves. Especially interested in the sound of the two colliding rocks of limbo. That caught her attention and interest. Just the sound of it. She opened her beak, a tiny emulation of the sound coming before she heard the Captain speak.
“Yes. I will begin.” She said this time back to the captain. She was capable of talking. Sometimes her words were in her own voice. Other times, mimicking those that had spoken the words to her. She dropped some of her equipment and pulled out tiny bits of string. Holding them with her beak, she climbed into the rigging. Up to the crows nest, a spot she loved to be in, but hated the jokes that came with it. She began to drop them, seeing how they would move in the subjective gravity, in the winds and in the turmoil that is limbo. With a few flicks of her wrist, and the muttering of a few words, a spectral talon (Mage Hand) appeared, grabbing the bits and returning them to her.
It took her a moment to even realize that the captain said water plane... The feathers around her face furled into somewhat of a scowl. But, with a shrug she climbed back down out of the crows nest. Grabbing her bags, she headed down below. It took her a bit of time to find a space to lay out her maps. The string that floated being placed on the paper as she charted the route. (Navigators Tools16 / Not sure if I should add anything beyond proficiency to it.) There was a bit of madness to her methods of seeing where to leave one plane and leave another. What route to take. She tried to feel it, rather than analyze it. The same way she felt how to use magic. And felt herself contact It. From her pocket, she began to dismantle parts of the pocket-watch she had lifted. Using the shell of the watch to be the ship, while other parts were to represent things.
Satisfied, she made sure that the map was ready. Steve sat on the map while she made her way to the helm, looking around. She looked around with a huff. Who was actually going to steer this thing? She could. But then she couldn’t do other things. SHe perched herself on some nearby railing and made the sounds of a bell ringing. That would get someone’s attention. Maybe.
Hefting up the crate nearest to himself Luci had begun to follow behind sweet so he could put the supplies where the other had planned to put them. However paused at the sight of his approaching sibling. As she rested her hand on his shoulder he fumbled to readjust his grip on the supplies so that he could provide any support for his land sick sister without dropping anything. "Alright, this shouldn't take too long so you go and make sure everyone gets along." He replies, hoping he could actually help to get the job done quick enough before he felt too sick himself to do it. "Uweya can never be pinned for anything remember... though I agree; perhaps there's someone here who got on her bad side? Or she dealt with some troublebefore we got here?" With his free shoulder he gave a shrug before moving the crate again for a more comfortable grip. "Either way I doubt it's us so don't worry."

As usual, Wilhelm has managed to get lost. However, once he arrived, he began to go around the ship, proclaiming all the blessings and prayers that he knows of. As a result, the ship was all but beginning to move, when he finally managed to get aboard. He approaches the person nearest to the walkway, greeting them and asking where to proceed to.
Aella Herself now boarded the ship the crew and it's contents had been checked and accounted for by the Quatermaster, the route was presumably plotted she thought judging by the ringing. The crew was agitated ready to leave and so she gripped the helm and and took a firm position swaying with the ship as the anchor and moorings came aboard the sound of clicking and turning began to stop. In a booming voice she called "Dear crew! this is your captain speaking, Please keep all hands, arms legs and crossbows inside the ship at all times. WE'RE SETTING OFF" she glanced at the sails using prestidigitation to mark it with a giant golden Drakos symbol that spread the width and height of the sail. Then from the helm accelerate the ship as quickly as possible out of the port (OH PLEASE GODS DON'T CRASH Dex: 21) "Thank you for flying Air Drakos"

It's sooth sailing out of the port of Shra'kt'lor!
Breeze has plotted a course to the nearest known Astral portal, it's never a sure thing how far away something is in Limbo but she estimates it will take about a day to reach (well, 24 hours anyway, there's no sun to mark a day here).
Lets roll to see what kind of space-weather you can expect to encounter in the next 24 hours: 53
Edit: Lucky you! The element of Air dominates the space you are crossing today, while you can expect gale-force winds and possibly thunderstorms it is one of the less hostile elements to suffuse the plane of Limbo.
Alphonse is bouncing on his feet, barely able to contain his excitement as they begin their first voyage. Waiting until their some distance away from the port, because one can only test weapons in public spaces so many times before realizing that's a bad idea, he calls out to his Captain. "Captain Aella, permission to fire the ballista in celebration of our first departure?"As he says this, Alphonse drums his fingers excitedly on the ballista, anxious to try it out.
(Ooc: It has occurred to me: what's the range on the ballista? Does it follow normal ranged weapon rules? I feel like that is important information to know.)
Wilhelm will approach the Captain, once the ship has set sail. He will greet her, of course, and reminisce about the olden times, when they used to serve on an entirely different ship. Finally, he will ask:
"What is our destination, anyway? Do I need to start taking confessions and final words just in case?"
An errant breeze carries a few sounds and the smell from the galley below, already redolent with the smell of caramelized sugar, rosemary, cinnamon, and roasting meat.
As Wilhelm regales Aella with his fond memories, three small hands grip the outer balcony of the tiller. A small, lemur-like face appears, its four eyes like burnished bronze saucers as they unblinkingly gaze. The small creature pulls itself over the balcony, revealing seven limbs, a tail, and a small set of leathery wings. (Think of a lemur crossed with a bat, with a little chameleon mixed in for good measure.) In it's hands, it carries a fork, a spoon, and a small butter knife. With shyness and no small amount of trepidation, it shambles forward and proffers the spoon to Aella.
Breeze rocks back and forth. Cooing herself in the successful charting. It didn’t hurt that the one at the helm seemed to understand and know where to go. She glanced over to Wilhem, and makes the sound of a cat vomiting under her breath upon the words ‘confession’ and ‘last words.’
She looked over for a moment, sniffing the air. She fluffed her feathers a bit as her, and her pseudo-dragon, both ran towards the smells. Following their noses down below decks. To the mess. She hopped up on the nearest place she could to watch. Eyes darting back and forth between the treats. She would glance over to the cook, head tilted to the side, before looking back at the preparations.
Absentminded hands were busy grabbing little odds and ends. A twig of rosemary. Pinch of salt. Something that shouldn’t be eaten, like a splinter of wood. Stuffing them into pockets and bags. That is, unless she was stopped. And of course she would stop.. she barely recognized the fact she was doing it right now.
“When fini...” she stopped herself mid sentence. “Need. Help?” She was a terrible cook. Absolutely no instincts on it. But she loved it as much as she loved tinkering... something else she was awful at....
"Ah-" begins Sweet, swallowing his words as the dwarf stumps on board. "That's alright. We'll begin loading without him."
With that, he begins to load the ship, carefully hefting each crate a kind of tenderness in his grip.
Another voice calls she turns her head to respond letting go of Alphonse's arm she spots the dwarf,

(That's seven if I'm counting correctly, who are we missing?)
( Addison the bard and the paladin)
(Lets say it's up to the captain to decide how long to wait for them before leaving without them.)
(We'll leave and allow for the story to move along, could we say they just make themselves more known whilst on board ?)
(Yes, that's fine.)

( could i argue a roll in dexterity ? pls.... hahah )

(Yes, dexterity makes just as much sense, go for it.)

(Thanks!)
