Zak immediately feels the healing energies flow through his body as the wounds begin to magically heal. He is in awe as he's never felt this type of thing before either.
"I don't know what to say... thank you Martin." Zak looks at him like he's a god.
Zak then proceeds to the H1 door... "Should we go in here now?"
Behind the door is another empty small room, with dust, dirt and maybe some rat droppings on the floor. There is another door to the north of this chamber.
As you open the door, you hear voices coming from behind the next door. Somewhat distant, though they aren’t trying to be quiet or anything, you can’t distinguish any words, just general bickering and laughing (with a goblinoid kind of tone).
Zak immediately puts his body in the doorway of the room he just entered so the others cannot get in. He faces the others, with a serious look on his face... more serious than you've seen so far.
"Everyone... there's goblins in the next room beyond this one. I can... I can hear them. I can't tell how many there are, but there seems to be a few at the least. I think this is their hideout."
Zak wishes he had a plan but he totally doesn't. Just:
"Want to go check the other way down that big hallway? I don't think we are going to be able to surprise them if we go through that door in this room."
Zak is impressed with himself for at least thinking of that. He gives himself a mental pat on the back.
Gwenant gives a thoughtful nod and whispers, "I'm not exactly the quietest person here, but if there's another way in, then maybe I could distract them at one entrance while the rest of you hit them from behind? Even if there are a lot of them, I could hold a single doorway all by myself without any issue, and if I had a friend to watch my back we'd be as safe as can be."
"Sounds like a good plan. All I know is that once I open this here door I will be noticed right away. Maybe we should go check out the first part of the hallway first? I can stay here while someone goes and checks all quiet-like."
"My scouting days are long past... and I don't think this," he looks down at his chain hauberk, "is going to do me any favors sneaking. Zak, it may be best if you trail Spotty. Gwen and I can cover this door. Martin can stay with us, and Renny with you."
Zak likes taking directions and being told what to do. Especially from Hef for some reason. He gives an approving nod and prepares himself for battle as he follows Spotty the best that he can. Once Spotty reaches the start of the main hallway though he will hang back a bit to not mess up Spotty's sneaking.
He doesn't have a problem with the party splitting up. Might not be the smartest idea but Zak is totally fine with it.
Gwenant gives Spotty and Renny an unconcerned smile. "Relax," she says, "we'll just be entering the same room from two directions, if something goes wrong, we'll all be right around the corner from each other. Although, before we start this..." she places her hand upon her chest as a faint glimmer of light emanates from it and what healing power she still has further mends her lingering wounds. "Much better."
As you walk down, you see that the openings in the corridor seem to give into small cells. Down the hallway, there is another chamber. The cobblestone floor contains two trapdoors blocked open by iron spikes. The north wall holds a dry fountain carved with an overarching diving dragon. A faint rotten stench pervades the room. There is a small wooden door to the west of this chamber.
Martin places his hand over the wound and begins a chant. Almost immediately the flesh began to close over the wound.

Hef nods, "If we can get this door open..."
Zak, happy to have Hef's approval, will try and open the door. (Door H1)
Renny immediately takes a few steps back and to the side when Zak goes for the door without any warning.
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Behind the door is another empty small room, with dust, dirt and maybe some rat droppings on the floor. There is another door to the north of this chamber.
Zak, make a Perception check.

"Yeah, good thinking," Spotty says with a nod. "Let's see if we can take them by surprise."

(Ha! I remembered the right color for once.)
"My parents always told me 'never split the party' ... but then again, we had a much smaller party..." Spotty shrugs and scouts out the other room.

2 Points of Lay on Hands used, none remain.
Renny watches Spotty and Zak walk off and looks to Gwenant... she hesitates a bit but with a bit of a grimace follows fairly close to Zak.
