She's fairly vibrating at this point, <- I never actually expected to meet a gold dragon here! I only read stories of one in the area.. but of one older than yourself. From long ago. This is amazing! ->
<— Yes, this was the place of worship for Varrynthanyr, my mother. Her worshipers were not Kobolds though, and she was in control of their activities, she made them build this place.. She loved to be worshiped, but she hasn’t passed down that trait to me with her memories though! I can still feel her distress when they came... the necromancers... and their army.. to destroy her Citadel... but this was a long time ago.
She came back later to live here even though it had been destroyed, she helped people build a village and start farming the land around the area... all of this in disguise obviously.. the common-folk believed the dragon had disappeared when the cultists and the Citadel were destroyed. I can feel her joy when she layed her eggs.. but the memories passed down to me stop there.. I don’t know what happened after, I don’t know why I hatched in the hands of a Kobold colony, I don’t know why my mother hasn’t come back for me or why she left in the first place... I just have the feeling she is still alive somewhere... —>

Martin stands in the room looking around before walking over to the dragon cautiously to see if there could be any wounds that may need tending while Renny speaks to it.

Martin: The dragon hisses as you approach, and you don’t really feel like getting any closer. From where you are, you can’t seem to tell whether it is hurt or not, but nothing obvious stands out, other than some scars that already seemed to have healed.
Back at Renny:
<— What are you, human? I have never heard of humans being born with dragon scales before, or at least not as subtly.. usually Dragonborns are much dragon-like in their appearance, yet you seem to have only slight traits —>
Renny glances at Martin, then back to Calcryx, <- Human, mostly. I wasn't born like this. About a year ago I have some kind of episode, I guess? I almost burned the library down that I worked in. I had just developed magic.. and then a little later the scales appeared. My father didn't know anything about it... but the magic school says I'm a sorcerer and somehow I have a bit of gold dragon ->
She steps closer to Calcryx since he'd probably let her, generally putting herself between Martin and the dragon, <- We should probably try to go before anyone else shows up. ->

You hear a small voice coming from behind the southwestern door of the practice range, it seems to be calling out: E...o? Any...y ...ere? You can barely hear it through the door but there is definitely someone calling out.
Spotty is eager to meet the dragon, but his thoughts are interrupted when he hears a voice through the nearby door. He moves to the door and says "Hello? Who's over there?"
Yusdra-what-now?? I do not know what that is, but I am no parts to nobody’s clan, I am merely but a simple prisoner to the foul Goblin’s clan though... if that makes me part of their clan, I do not know, but it is definitely against my own will! Can you help me, stranger-through-the-door!
The door was locked, but no challenge for Spotty and his mighty lock picking tools and skills.
Squalor reigns in this low-ceilinged room. A large iron spike is driven into the floor near the door, and a small iron cage is set farther back. Several sets of corroded manacles are connected to the walls.and some still bind a few crumbling skeletons.
Three kobolds are bound with crude rope to the iron spike. A battered gnome lies in the cage, which is almost too small for him.
Oh.. you made it through the door! Bravo! ... but there is still the cage here... Name is Eskie Timboon, at your service! .. I would bow but the space don’t really want to allow it unfortunately.. and you are a Kobold? Friends of yours here?
The gnome says pointing with his nose towards the chained Kobolds.
After seeing the gold dragon and seeing how Renny is interacting and presumably speaking with it, his rage subtly wears off and he feels a bit awestruck. And oddly hungover. His throat is a bit sore from screaming but he doesn't remember why he was screaming. He notices some charred burned flesh on his arms from the previous battle.
He had never in a million years believed that dragons actually existed let alone actually seeing one. Zak has been remaining quiet throughout all of this and had become quite angry again after Renny explains that the beast is being held here against its will. Zak can relate to this with his upbringing, and starts to cheer when Spotty kills Meepo. Zak watches Spotty unlock and open the door and looks into the room as well from a far, and basically stands guard in the dragon room just outside the door that Spotty opened waiting for Hef or someone to tell him what to do next.
Spotty easily opens the cage Eskie is locked in, and lets him out. The gnome stretches out his limbs, and does a few interesting poses, seemingly setting his muscles and joints back into place...
By Tymora, this feels so great!! My extremities are really numb.. what a harsh position to keep a living being in.. Thank you so much dear .. uh.. Mr Kobold?
The other Kobolds in the room crawl up against the wall, they don't seem sure about leaving. One of them ventures in Draconic: <-- Who are you -->
Spotty shrugs. "We can just tell them that the goblins got Meepo, and their dragon was nowhere to be found."
