Once she finishes tittering at Renny's response, Gwenant listens intently to the Constable's statement, and Hef's afterwards. Once he finishes, she raises a hand and says, "I'm with you, Hef. I don't know about the rest of you, but if a party of four hasn't returned, I'd rather err on the side of not dying than run into that place one at a time." On hearing Spotty's question, she adds, "I think the Hucrele kids were the missing children, unless-" she sends a worried glance towards the constable, "-there are more missing kids?"
Martin thinks for a quick moment and then nods in response. "I do believe I should help bring the light of the dawn to this Sunless Citadel. The glory of Lathander will bring life from it's darkened aspect. I will join you in this and perhaps I can find the one who went there to inquire of his aid in my quest as well."

Renny looks around at the group, "Maybe, before we go off into some dangerous situation, we should take a bit to figure out what everyone's capabilities are? A few are more obvious than others I think," she indicates Martin, Gwenant and Hef, "but even so. I wouldn't mind knowing going in."

"I'm with you!" Zak enthusiastically says to Hef and the others. Zak is still kind of in a happy glazed over daze of joy as he is finally feeling like he might have met some friends and so might've missed some of the conversations between the others that have been going on. "We should move quickly - I'm worried about the children."
He's concerned why the constable and even more so the parents would send children on this type of a mission, but would never in a million years question the judgement of the constable and the town after how inviting they have been so far.
He also hears Renny's statement, and still feeling awkward about blatantly staring at her odd glimmering patch, simply turns slightly and shows his overly large great sword and flexes his beastly half-Orc body.
Those visible areas of Renny's skin don't actively shimmer on their own. :) It's like little metalic bits that would reflect light when it passes over her skin at certain angles and it's not very bright either since it is still skin which absorbs a lot of the light. And besides, at the moment she's intentionally moved her hair forward to obscure it.
(it's more subtle than maybe i let on which is why the perception check earlier)
"Hmmm..." Hef eyes the map and considers the walk. "About how far down the road is this citadel? Could a party make it before dark if they left at first light?"
I would say it’s about 3-4 hours walk. But please don’t feel obliged to leave right now, you’ve been on the road all day and today is getting short. Perhaps you could get yourselves a nice meal at the Ol’ Boar Inn, and stay there for the night! It’s on me! Take is as a down-payment for your services, I trust you won’t bail on me now, Hef!
Remembering what Gwenant had said, Spotty asks the constable "Do you know anything about any missing children?"
The only missing children I can think of are the Hucreles, but there not really children anymore.. Talgen has been trained as a Fighter and Sharwyn went to the Wizard’s Academy! I haven’t heard of any others, and usually all the problems in this town get to me eventually.
Renny pipes up again right on the heels of Spotty, "Or a gold dragon?"
Insight: 3 (hahahahaha)
Haven’t heard anything about a Dragon in the region... that would probably not be a good thing for us if there was! Perhaps you should talk to Garon at the Ol’ Boar Inn, he’s the owner and barkeep. He hears all kinds of stories and grew up in Oakhurst, so knows more about it’s history than I ever will..
Renny just wants to believe there is something between them, so just ignores any clues in the body language that would confirm or deny her theory.
Hef's body language should convey that Fel is someone he knows and respects. Anyone that can read people would assume that they've had each other's backs in the past. Maybe literally for two martial types. They are friends, but there's no spark of romance.
"I'd figured we'd be spendin' the night. Need some cured meat, some cheese and a lot o' ale before I walk into a chasm and a Sunless Citadel. I'd say we meet up behind the blacksmith an hour after dawn. Let's us recuperate. And those what have questions that need askin' get a chance to ask 'em. Maybe meet up around sunset tonight to get to know each other a bit better'n we do? At the Ol' Boar?"
"Sounds like a plan, Hef. I'll meet you at the Boar after I run by the general store. First round's on me if I still have coin to buy it with, and anyone who needs gear is welcome to join me!" Gwenant turns to Constable Felosial, looks as though she's about to try and shake her hand, then salute, before she settles on simply giving a respectful nod and taking her leave, confident that she can find a general store, and a place called the Ol' Boar, in such a small settlement.
Zak is poor and only has the equipment that he is wearing so he becomes quite uncomfortable when the others start to plan the evening. He is thankful for Fel's offer to stay at the Ol' Boar Inn.
"I will take you up on that offer, Ma'am." says Zak to Fel. He's so excited to get into an actual bed for a good night's sleep. It might actually be the first time in his life he experiences this.
"That sounds great Hef!" says Zak to Hef as he kind of follows him wherever he goes.
Felosial bids you all farewell, she says she'll make sure Garon at the Ol' Boar Inn knows you are coming for supper and to prepare rooms for the night. She then gets back to her maps, documents, and letters. Jorun, the guard, escorts you back to the entrance of the building. You are all now in the town square (area 8) in front of the Barracks (building 6).
Feel free to explore. Please make sure to describe what your characters do, and who is with whom.
Hef smiles and trades grips with Fel again, wishing her luck in her work. With her departure, he turns to the group. His eyes land on Zak and he asks with a twinkle in his eye, "Where've you wanted to see most, Zak?"
Martin smiles at the suggestion of an inn but also at the idea of starting their journey in the morning. "Morning would be a good idea, I can do a convocation to get Lathanders blessing on us at dawn to bless our trip and ensuing quests completion for any who wish to join me." Martin Says before heading to the Shrine of Pelor

Renny looks left, looks right.. looks at Spotty. She shrugs and heads left, "Not a big place. Maybe do a walk around and see what's what."
"So where are you from, Spotty?"
(Figure they'll just walk around the blacksmith, circle back to the square and find the store and inn at that point)

Zak turns to Hef almost like a child would to their parent in excitement:
"Perhaps we take a stroll through the entire town - get to know it a bit? It is going to be my home in the end anyhow so best learn the ins and outs!"
"Anyone else want to come?"
"Good idea. How about we try to catch up to those two?" he gestures to Spotty and Renny.
((Unless those players want some alone time to discuss dragon-y secrets)).
(If you guys want to try and catch up that's your call not ours heh)
