Zak looks over at Gwen (I assume they are both now in the fountain room waiting for Spotty) "So... any idea what might be behind that door? Wanna open it while we wait?!" Zak is really trying to convince Gwen as he sensed that she also kind of wants to open it.
Gwenant keeps her eyes on the stone door as she responds to Eskie and Zak. "Last time we passed through here, I sensed something undead beyond this door," she shrugs. "I wanted to see if anything had changed. It hasn't, by the way." She grimaces and mutters, "Probably better to leave this one as it is for now, we may need to run soon. Or fight, if the kobolds get angry."
Having said that, she does flash Zak a somewhat mischievous smile and says, "Of course, we'll need to come back here later, and what kind of adventurers would we be if we just left an ominous door closed? And," she winces a little, "one of our missing people might be behind there..."
"Oh yeah... the undead... yikes. I remember now. Ok sounds good. If any of the missing people are in there hopefully they are just sleeping and not making any noise."
Zak stands on guard continuing the idle chat with Gwen and the others if they are there.
"Hey...Eskie...do you have anymore of that whiskey? It tasted great..."
Eskie to Gwenant: Now you’ve peaked my own curiosity, coming back here for sure!
He then turns to Zak, while slipping out the Dwarven flask from his pocket: Sure do my friend! Dem Dwarves know how to make them liquors, can’t deny that!
Zak might be feeling the booze a bit now as he's taken a few large swigs here and then earlier as well.
Zak whispers to Eskie, trying not to let Gwen hear, and hoping that Eskie will clue in and also whisper back and not 'tell' on him:
"Hey... Eskie... I dare you to go and open that door... and look inside..."Zak points to the door in the fountain room that we haven't been in yet, the one that Gwen used Divine Sense on.
Gwenant is staring at a nearby wall, and gives a start when Renny pokes her. "Well, if you think we're up to it, I suppose we could open the spooky death door,"she gives the door in question a bit of a glare, "or at least try."
Renny shrugs, "Honestly, I don't know. I'm mostly ok but the others have been beat up pretty good." she glances back to Calcryx, "And I did promise we'd get him out of here."

As he approaches the cage room and sees the two kobolds there, Spotty thinks for a moment, then decides to try passing himself off as one of them. He sheds most of his clothing, then approaches them and says in Draconic <Queen Yusdrayl wants to see you two, immediately.>
Deception: 9
(I feel like I should get some sort of extra bonus here, but I'll leave that up to the DM)
(Sorry, was out camping for a few days, I will update later today or tomorrow with everything going on!
Zak make a Persuasion check with advantage for convincing Eskie [advantage because Eskie is also getting a little drunk],
Spotty, you can make the Deception check with advantage as well [advantage as a Kobold, no source of light in the room, so they can’t see your skin color and you mention the Queen by name])
You only see those two, if you want to wait around to see if anything else happens, let me know how long you wait!
Still nothing else happens. Eskie asks: what’s back there? What are you trying to do?

Persuasion: 18
Deception again: 4
(wow, that sucks... can I burn my Inspiration to try once more?)
(you can use inspiration for another roll if you want, I’ll have to roll for the Kobolds, so a 9 could still beat them if I roll low, so up to you)
