As Zak leads the group and listens to the conversations happening, he can't get the shimmer he saw from Renny out of his head. He keeps trying to look more at it without being annoying or creepy. Although he's afraid he's already done that seeing how many times he's looked back at it.
Renny nods to Gwenant, "That's right. I found a reference to a gold dragon around this area some time ago."
For anyone who rolled 15+
The shimmer on her skin would appear to be very fine scales, yellow/gold in colour with a metallic sheen. A small amount start running down the side of her head from the temple, down the side of her neck and curving toward the collar bone where they disappear under her clothes. Likely there is more to that but this is all that can be seen.
In addition, her eyes are unique in that they are two colours; the iris is primarily blue but there is an inner ring of gold.

Gwenant nods and looks as though she's about to say something to Renny, then seems to reconsider it. She finds herself looking back and forth between Spotty, the kobold, and Renny, the suspiciously glittery human, when the two express their desires to meet a dragon. Sure, it was a gold dragon, not some chromatic wyrm of yore, but still... "Well, good luck with that!"she managed to say.
Zak can't seem to get a good look at Renny's glimmering skin and thinks to himself he better stop trying to look or he's going to get himself into trouble. He listens to the dragon talk, not really thinking much of it as he always thought dragons were of stories and nothing more. At least that's what the Orcs told him growing up.
"Ok we are almost there everyone - it's just around this bend."
A rather stocky dwarven figure dressed in blue robes with the crest of the Temple of Lathander hurries up the path towards the town of Oakhurst. His pace was very fast for a figure of his stature and he was lightly panting as he had been maintaining this pace since sun up. Coming of a small rise in the road he sees a group of other travelers heading up the road and feeling a need to share the joys of Lathander and so approaches the group with a smile. "The Blessings of Lathander on you all. My name is Martin. How do you all fare this fine day Lathander gave us?" His tanned leathery skin and dark brown hair and eyes complementing his dark blue robes as he approaches.

"That seems a bit rash, Renny. He could just be a really enthusiastic acolyte..." Hef says with a tongue in cheek tone. "Greetings friend. Care for an escort into town?"
Martin smiles back with a genuine grin. "Aye, I be a devotee to Lathander and be heading into the town in look for an elderly cleric that was rumored to have been there. I be glad to have companions. Perhaps I could tell you of The Lord of the Dawn while we travel."

As the small newly formed party of adventurers approaches the town, you can already notice that the main town center is composed of a few buildings closely built together. However, fields of all sorts span around the town, with farms sparsely located over the surrounding hills, mostly to the East. To the West, there seems to be a smaller road than the one you are on right now, that leads into a woodland area.
Map:
As your group arrives from the South, you get closer to the first buildings where there are a few guards posted. They seem to be quite alert, and one of them actually gets up and stands in front of you. He has his hand on the hilt of his sword, but this isn’t unusual for a guard. The others, four of them, don’t change their positions and they are still cheerfully chatting amongst each other, though they are keeping an eye out on their companion.
The guard in front of you, gives you an inquisitive look and calls out, whilst mostly staring at the Kobold: What business do you have in Oakhurst?
Renny quickly rattles off a summary, "Missing children, a Citadel, slaughtered cattle, dragon, old cleric.. erm.." she pauses then upon the realization this is probably not being helpful just gives the guard a pleasant smile, "Hello. Hi. We all have different things.."

"I was invited to town by Constable Starsong. These fine folk," he gestures to all with him, including Spotty, "met me along the road, all with hopes of helping somehow. I owe the constable a drink and you likely don't want to delay that too terribly long." He closes with a smile, not leveling a threat, just bantering with fellow soldiers.
"Hello to you, Martin," Gwenant says with a smile, "Seems you never know who the road will bring your way, eh?"
Gwenant nods to Renny, "Like she said, we've all heard of troubles or curiosities around town, and we're all here to look into it." She pauses. "Separately." Another pause. "Together-ish." She shrugs. "We all just met a ways down the road, so... "
Those who rolled the higher perception rolls earlier may also take note that Renny has intentionally positioned her hair to mostly obscure the sides of her face and neck by the time they reached the guards.

"Ooh, a gold dragon huh? I hope we get to meet them. I've never met a metallic dragon before." Spotty grins.
Renny smiles at Spotty, "Neither have I. It should be fun."

Renny looks at Hef, "See, I just had a feeling. Don't know what it was."
She adjusts her pack and looks back ahead toward Oakhurst, "Seems this little town has a lot going on lately."
