Corrin tilts her head slightly at Jill, but makes the pinky promise anyways then turns to Misha with a tube of fiery red lipstick. "Okay, so, this color would go really well with your hair!" She then digs in her bag and pulls out another tube, a dark maroon color. "And Meep, this one would enhance your amphibious beauty and make all the other frogs jealous!"
Finding that Corrin was in good hands (and preoccupied with showing everyone her lipstick collection), Amelia followed the blood hunter to a private room, sitting down on the couch when instructed to do so. She kept her posture lax, open, not guarded or straight to scare the other off or to dissuade her from telling her her story, and listened. She watched Jill pace around nervously as she spoke, watched as she tried hugging herself for feigned comfort, and took note of her tone of voice when she kept talking. Part of Amelia wanted to tell her to stop, seeing how painful it was to speak of, but the other part wanted her to continue, thinking that perhaps if she let it out, it would help in some way.
When the other finished, the older woman sat back in her seat to process what she heard. It was a lot to digest, but it was uncanny how similar their situations were, aside the obvious things. She let out a sigh and pushed herself off of the couch.
"Jill," She started softly, keeping a comfortable distance between the two of them. "I have no reason to be mad at you. You did what you had to do to survive." She visibly frowned thinking back on what the other said but continued. "You were young and we all do things we regret down the line, but the damage has been done and all you can do is move forward." She takes a breath as she feels a burning at the outer part of her thighs, ignoring it as best as she could. "It's hard being an orphan, having lost the people who loved you the most, I know that, and surviving on your own when you're a child is no easy task. I'm sure I would taken that concoction too if I found myself in that situation growing up... And you have my word; I'm not going to tell Corrin anything. I'm just afraid she would try to do what I--er-- you do." She shakes her head at the mistake and apologizes quickly, then goes on. "She's young and impressionable, and out of everyone, you could quite literally be her older sister. I'm sure she looks up to you, in one way or another, so I have to keep close eyes on her, you know? I don't want her thinking her blood is magic just because yours is..."
Amelia looks to the other after saying her piece and opens her arms a bit then asks, "Do you want a hug?"

During the hug, the blonde remained silent and simply rubbed the others back for additional comfort. She pulled away with a gentle smile and said, “Think nothing of it, sparky. Let’s go.”
When they returned, Corrin had accumulated about 94 tubes of lipstick on the table, telling everyone at the table about them and the colors and urging them to try them on.

Misha takes Corrin, places her on her thigh, and gladly allows her to use her as a test subject. She puckers up and resists the urge to tickle or play with her while Jill and Amelia have a moment alone.
No matter how the makeup turns out, Misha believes it's the most amazing thing she's ever seen and plants a big kiss on Corrin's cheek, laughing uproariously at the lip marks it left behind.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Corrin giggles at the kiss Misha planted on her cheek, and was happy that Jill had quickly caved and let her put in some dark blue lipstick on her lips. Welcome to Baldur’s Gate, a veritable nest of rats and vipers clinging to the rocky slopes overlooking the Chionthar River. From their high perches in the Upper City, the local nobles — known as patriars — gaze down with veiled contempt upon the common rabble in the grimy Lower City, which hugs the foggy harbor. The whole of Baldur’s Gate reeks of blood, crime, and opportunity. One can easily fathom why pirates and traders are drawn to this place like flies to a carcass.
THE CITY OF ELTUREL:
Following the river farther east would eventually lead you to Elturel, capital of the holy land of Elturgard — or at least that was the case until a few days ago. The flood of refugees from Elturel has gotten worse since news first arrived that the city has fallen. Everyone is saying Baldur’s Gate is next, but no one truly knows who or what has claimed Elturel.

By the wisdom from Acheronian High Command, Misha, and by extension, you all, were ordered to report to the Flaming Fist to help defend the city. Unseen beyond the sealed Basilisk Gate, a dirt road stretches through the Outer City slums to the bridge known as Wyrm’s Crossing, then to distant realms beyond.
Dozens of Flaming Fist soldiers are trying to control an angry mob of commoners eager to leave the city. Allynna smiles a bit as they enter the Gate, but also pulls out a cloak with a hood that she pulls up. She doesn't completely cover her face, but conceals enough of it that she's no longer immediately recognizable, and does her best to avoid getting too close to guards. When the group approaches the captain and then the fight begins, she sucks in a sharp breath. "Dammit." This is bad. “Oh no you ain’t,” Amelia chides, pulling Jill back from the back of her collar before the blood hunter can fully get into the fight. “You are going to watch Corrin, I’m going in to try and pull that guy from the fight. Emphasis on the try.” She hands Corrin her sword and shield and tells her that Allynna is the boss until she comes back. The tiefling girl nods excitedly, holding onto Jill’s hand for the time being to force her to stay with her.
”Mama doesn’t fist fight a lot but she’s really strong!” Corrin mentions with a smile, her eyes never leaving the fight as her mother joined the frey. The older woman quickly locates Misha in a moment to point out the guy, hoping the two can fight their way to him together. “I hope you don’t think she doesn’t think you’re capable of holding your own though, she just cares about you a lot, even if she doesn’t show it!”

The fist fight doesn't last long. Misha and Amelia, along with the other guards, are able to subdue the commoner rabble easily with fist and kick. Captain Zodge is expecting you all. As his six guards deal with the remaining commoners, he gives you a hearty nod.
“Greetings!" says Captain Zodge, "The refugee crisis has stoked fears that Baldur’s Gate might suffer the same fate as Elturel, of which nothing remains but a hole in the ground, apparently. Our grand duke, Ulder Ravengard, was visiting Elturel on a diplomatic mission when the city was destroyed. Coincidence? I think not. The knights of Elturgard call themselves Hellriders. A few of them escaped the destruction and think we’re somehow to blame for Elturel’s downfall. What a bunch of self-righteous rabble-rousers! We’re arresting them on sight, but that’s left us shorthanded to deal with another problem. For that, I need your help.”

Jill sighs as Amelia pulls her back into the wagon and away from the action. "I know she does, Corrin. She is a very kind woman." Jill looks at Allynna as she goes into stealth mode. She decides against asking about things that aren't her business and just decides to talk to Corrin. "So, the work with the make-up, did your mother teach you how to do that?"

MEETING CAPTAIN ZODGE
