Ill be honest and say I don't have much experience with PbP games (as my post count will show). I play/DM in a few F2F games and one other PbP here, as well as hosting Adventurers League at my LGS (save your critique of the system , IDC).
I thought my first PbP DMing experience should be something kind of straight forward, so I chose Sunless Citadel, its a classic dungeon romp. I am looking for up to 6 peeps to run this. Level one PCs; PHB and legal play races classes only, no homebrew please.
Please post an introduction below and I will contact those selected. Happy Gaming

Anton doesn't use a surname and is quick to change the subject when people ask him about his life before he went to sea.
A boatswains mate on the Canary, he's been mentored in the ways of unarmed combat and ki by a sailing master named Philip.
His ship was taken and Philip killed in a recent battle. Ready for the next stage of his life, Anton is staying at the inn and watching the job boards for his next opportunity.
The character I would like to play is Adalbricht Goldenclaw a variant human noble sorcerer with the Draconic Ancestry origin.
A bit of backstory for him is that he comes from a very old Noble family that has a small keep along the SwordCoast. In ages past his family had once been closely linked to elder Golden Dragon that had taken a lair near their ancestral lands. The wise wyrm agreed to protect their family and its lands for as long as they ruled the people under them justly and paid it the occasional tribute of gold and other precious metals. Overtime as this mutually beneficial agreement continued, members of the family began to exhibit dragon like traits and were born with an inate gift with magic. With each generation this manifested more and more within the main family, lessening with those farther from the direct Goldenclaw bloodline.
Alalbrecht is the current heir as he is the eldest of four, including his two brothers and sister. Like many young adults he felt the need to go out and travel, knowing his was far from defenless due to his skill with his inate magical abilities. With a small amount of money and well wishes from his family he set out to make a name for himself as an adventurer and perhaps learn life lessons that will help him once he becomes the lord of his family's lands.
Ever since his tribe was wiped out years ago, Scar has wandered the countryside from town to town making a living by fighting anything that has been put in his way. If the town is too small then he is more than willing to do odd jobs around the town as long as payment is provided in the way of gold.
Name: Geth Race: Human Feat: Ritual Caster Class: Warlock (Archfey Patron) Intro: Geth always wanted to be a wizard. He even did well enough in school to get into a prestigious wizarding academy (though it probably didn't hurt that he came from a mob family and the headmaster owed his father money). He was smart enough -- maybe not quite as razor sharp as some of his classmates (especially the elves), but he did okay -- but his downfall was that he was lazy. He always wanted to take the easy way out, and, well, when you're trying to manipulate the weave through careful study, you need a degree of conscientiousness that Geth just didn't possess. And so, despite a strong start, he quickly fell behind as the material became more challenging. And so, as he always did, he began to look for a quick fix. And fortunately, the universe provided as it so often seemed to do for the privileged young man. One night while procrastinating he decided to attempt a summoning ritual he'd found in an old book he'd stolen from the library. And, well, long story short, the powerful fey being who visited him must have seen some kind of potential, because she granted him access to some "borrowed power" as she called it. All he had to do was act as her representative in the material plane from time to time; so far it was mostly simple mischief (breaking into places and stealing things, that sort of thing). He was sure he'd gotten the sweet end of the deal. What could go wrong?
EDIT: Wasn't really feeling the Paladin, so made a warlock instead. Never played one until a short one shot a couple of weeks ago and wanted to try it out in a campaign. Went ahead and didn't take eldritch blast or any damage spells; that should make things interesting.
I was going to say standard or point buy, BUT you guys are rolling some good stats. If anyone wants to roll that has already taken point buy or standard, you guys can roll if you want.

On a fogy midsummer morning 2 Years ago Bhuraelea arrived in a small fishing village. He doesn‘t talk much about where he is coming from, but you can tell that he loves the sea. He travels around the country wherever the wind blows him, looking for stories about old adventures or living new ones.
Intro: Obsben Overhill is his name, and spreading fortune is his game. Although not always the good kind, and even less so by choice. Cursed (or Blessed, as some Overhill's say) by magic that went beyond just the normal halfling Luck, Obsben found himself leaving the countryside to find a means to undue the family's extraordinary blessing, if only for his own sake.
If allowed to roll for possible better stats, but able to go back to point buy otherwise: Ability scores: 151116101211
Also, if a Wild Magic Sorcerer might be too disruptive, I'm more than open to tweak his story a little to fit a Bard.

Sinezira was young when a band of townsfolk came through and slaughtered his mother's orc tribe, leaving him to his own devices in the woods. Late in the evening a few nights after the death of his mother's family after days without food he was found by a tribe of elvish druids and a woman, named Elandra Zira, took him in and raised him as her own child for she could never have her own. He learned the druidic ways of the wood elves until he was 15 when they believed his time with the elves could not continue and that he needed to find a tribe of his own kind. He has such orcish features that when the elders told him he was not a full blooded orc he was astonished and felt an urge to find his father. This urge led him to the village of people he remembered that murdered his tribe. The village was poor and rundown. They refused him room and board. He slept in the ally behind an inn for only a few hours when a small group of men came after him trying to run him out of town. He tried to defend himself peacefully but they were to drunk to understand and he killed two of the men before the rest ran. He spent time in a stockade for murder of the mayor's son. There he met Split, a roguish gnome, who helped him escape. He has been on the run ever since going from town to town sleeping in gutters and staying out of sight.
Orsola Lightburst was born in the middle of a thunderstorm, and was struck by lightning on the ride home. He miraculously survived, but was left with permant scarring. He believes himself to be chosen by Talos, god of storms, to become a hero of legend. He searches the lands flr such an opportunity.
(I'll roll stats when i can use a computer instead of my phone. Do i roll 3d6, or 4d6 and drop the lowest?)
His regiment was attacked in the night. Only a few people survived the onslaught due to a Cleric within the group. He had single-handly turned the tide of the battle due to the connection with his god Kord. From that day Morgan has dedicated himself to Kord and has now set off to find his future in Adventuring hoping to live up to the memory of his savior.
Anton, Adalbricht, Scar, Geth, YoFizz (to be named), Bhuraelea and Obsben. The seven of you answered the same call for adventurers on the notice board in Neverwinter. Hired by the Noble Family Hucrele to track down and find the missing twins Sharwyn and Talgen Hucrele and offered 150 gold each for the deed, you have covered the short distance to a little hamlet at the base of Mt. Hotenow. Oakhurst Village is a small town of about 900 people, mostly Human with hardy population of Halflings.
You may introduce your characters now along with any information they might have shared during the 3 hour trip from Neverwinter.

Lark- Goblin Bard 2- Lost Mines Gr-A/ AC 13 HP 15, passive perception 11
A human with black hair and deeply tan, over-weathered skin travels with you. He's wearing sailors clothes and when he's idle he ties different knots on a length of rope.
Beneath a mid-length, curly, and unkempt mess of dark brown hair are a pair of green eyes bearing bags under them, but watchful all the same of the exchange between elf and bugbear. Aside from a warm, but brief introduction at the start of their journey that namely entailed just giving, well, his name, the halfling dressed in simple black and red clothing fit for any casual traveler has been fairly quiet throughout much of the journey.
As far as anyone knows or has heard from the Halfling himself if asked, he hails from a small settlement of halflings just east of the Southern Lluirwood, and has been on the road in general for year now. Of his reasons for accepting the job, or how he wound up so far from home, none can say with certainty over the 3 hour trip. He is evasive if prompted, preferring to site the need of coin, or a 'Its the Charmalaine fever, you see. Only way to fix it is by walk about'.
Other than such things Obsben has been content to follow after the others, observing their interactions(or lack thereof) with a half-smile on his face, a rune carved walking staff clacking against the ground with every step, and the occasional clanging of pots and pans accompany it from a backpack that looks filled to capacity at a glance.
Once the group is in sight of the hamlet proper, Obsben lets out a sigh of relief. "That reminds me. If any of you folk have something strange happens to just happen around you folk, I find flipping a coin usually puts things back to right." He comments on mysteriously.
