OoC: Depending on how long it's been, Geth might still have detect magic up as well; he cast it before we climbed down. Only lasts 10 minutes though so guessing it's ended by now with all the searching etc. But he can ritual cast it again if it seems useful enough to be worth spending another 10 minutes.
Obsben- You can hear your marbles hitting the wall on the other side of the room.
Boh, Adalbricht, and Geth- As you approach the glowing orb, you can hear faint tinkling music. Suddenly, the orb glows brighter and a weird, brooding music begins to play.
I need WISDOM Saving throws from every body in the room AND the room prior. Anyone still in the room with the dead goblins is safe.
For now.
Except Boh, you're elf heritage makes you immune to charm effects.
Anyone failing this save (DC 15) is compelled to immediately dash to the exit and into the courtyard (where the pit trap is located) Where the effect ends.
Geth finds himself overcome by the urge to run, as fast as possible, toward the exit, ignoring threats along the way. As he gets to the courtyard, he immediately falls into the pit trap that, had he had his wits about him, he would have known to avoid.
Boh- As your first strike on the orb rings out, the music emanating from it becomes louder. You see a small chip of crystal tear of from the orb and fall to the floor. The music is so loud its hard to concentrate, your next two strikes show no signs of damaging the globe.
Geth- You see the rest of the party looking on in confusion as you flee the terrific music. You enter the courtyard with something nagging in your memory. As the fog is clearing from your brain and your senses returning, you feel the floor beneath your feet depress, and you hear a click. Tell me how you react and then DEX SVT.
The rest of you suddenly hear music as if a very loud band is playing a mournful tune a few rooms away. Everyone in the group can hear the music now and needs a WIS SVT. Except Geth, who is outside and Boh (successful save negates the effect for 24 hours, no further SVTs are needed.)

Geth's mind begins to clear right as the floor begins to give way. He attempts to push off the floor, using his own momentum to try to carry himself over the pit in the direction he was going...
DEX save: 9
but (I assume that's a fail) he lacks the leg strength to make the jump, and falls short, right into the pit below.

I course my strength and take a piton out of my bag to concentrate the force of my blows on a single point ( advantage to attack role?) befor i take three more swings.
Seeing my miserable attempts i panic, i try to take the globe, try to open the next door and try to throw the globe into the next room before i slam the door shut.
An already panicked Obsben.... keeps his wits about him! After nimbly avoiding get trampled over a second time as Scar runs past, he pointedly rips off pieces of his sleeves and digs out any looses pieces of cotton to stuff into his ears. Although he starts to go inside to find the source of the magic, the trap coming back in mind prompts the halfling to run after the others shouting, "Waitwaitwaitwait!"after the others and unlatching his rope along the way.
If there's something along the way to approaching the pit he does so, hoping to make an anchor point to cast the rest of the rope down to anyone already in the pit.
Geth- The floor gives way beneath your feet and you begin to fall. Your momentum is almost enough to clear the pit but falling short you drop the 10 feet to the bottom. you take 5 bludgeoning damage. You are laying on your stomach staring into the face of a dead giant rat.
Obsben- You chase after the party desperately looking for something to anchor your rope. You notice a large piece of masonry easily a half a ton in weight. It would do nicely.
Anton- You come to your senses at the bottom of the pit feeling a little battered. 6 bludgeoning damage. You shake it off and climb out of the pit.
Scar- You come to your senses as the pit is yawning before you. You see some of your companions in the pit already and its sounds like Obsben is yelling something. As you begin falling you see a rope sail past you... roll a DEX SVT please.
Boh- With the added piton your hammering has taken root into the globe, after the second swing, a large crack has formed and the music begins to dwindle. You swing once more and the hammer glances off the piton, which tinks off into the room. Everything falls silent except for Obsben's yelling.

The effect on Anton has ended...with him at the bottom of the pit. (ooc: what's the damage on that fall?).
He can probably jump out of the 10 foot pit, but he also has a rope and a grappling hook if needed, or he can take the rope from Obsben.

(Ok, finally got it to rollback. What a mess.)
For the fall into the pit, Anton needed to roll Acrobatics, which caused the previous post to go into 'you cheated the dice' mode, sorry).

Scar- you reach out your hand to grab Obsben's rope but grasp air only as the ground rushes to knock the wind out of you. 4 damage.
Everyone climbs back out of the pit. You guys can take a short rest if you want.
OOC Geth lol
IDK if this is normally a thing but everyone can take inspiration for that whole sequence.
