"This may be a good time and place for me to refresh my magical senses," Geth says. "If we don't mind pausing for a few minutes before moving on, that is."
If the group agrees to a ten minute pause, he begins the process of ritual casting detect magic.

If I understood the description, the pit is on our side, without crossing the 20' room, right? If so, Anton goes to the edge and looks in to see what he can see. If it's safe to do so, he'll lower himself in and examine things for signs, tracks, corpses, loot, etc. (If I have to cross the room to get to the pit, I'll wait.)
Obsben trembles at the voice, and cannot help but hiding behind Scar's legs. Peeking out after realizing Geth had spoken up on the subject, Obsben nervously looks between statue and Geth nervously. "I mean, it makes sense, right?" He whispers up to Scar. But anyone close enough can easily enough have overhead him.
Once they have access in the other room, he follows along to its edge, and helps whoever he can with halfling eyes and rope as necessary.
Geth-You cast your magic circle into the ground and expand your awareness. You feel the the magical auras of two things nearby. One of which is the secret door, which has closed during the casting of your spell. It glows with abjuration magic. The second being a faint glow of illusion magic behind the alcove that the tracks are coming from. You can't help but feel a strange sense that whatever is causing that green glow should be tripping your alarm, but its not. Maybe you are not close enough.
Anton- The pit is on the far side of the room in front of the open archway to the next room.
Geth relays what his senses tell him to the rest of the group. "That'll be a false wall," he says, pointing at the alcove where the tracks are coming from. "Not that you need magic to tell that. I will need to get closer to see what kind of magic that green glow is; I'm assuming it's magic of some kind. I'm not about to go over there by myself though," he says, looking toward the more...robust members of the party.
Chucking as he senses Obsben below him, Scar will just take in the recent happenings and keep a steady watch on all that is going on, making sure no one attempts to surprise the group as they do their searching. He will also help lower anyone down into the pit if they want to continue searching down there or will help anyone cross it if need be. The green glow particularly attracts his eye and he will take a closer look at it.
Emboldened by Scar's approach toward the glow, Geth follows along cautiously, mindful of potential traps along the way, until he is close enough for the glow to be within range of his spell.

OOC: I assume we are in the room past the speaking dragon statue. If not I will repeat the sentence about stars to reopen the door.
Bhuraelea is intrigued by the footprints in the dust, he carefully scans the room (perception 11) befor he moves closer to the empty alcove ( that's the one with the footprints, correct?) to take a closer look ( investigate 6).
Anton, Scar, Obsben, and Geth- From where you are you can see the glow is centralized and coming from a stone casket with brass clasps. But Geth, oddly enough you still feel nothing coming from it.
Boh- As you peer behind the statue in the alcove, a faint shimmer in the wall tells you that it is indeed an illusory wall. The room beyond is small and dusty. A thin patina of cobwebs obscure some runes carved into the wall.
Geth waves his fingers and mutters something, causing a small translucent purple disembodied hand to appear, floating in front of him. "I can try to open the clasps with this while we all stand back," he offers. "But it may be wiser for someone who knows traps to take a look first?" He looks back toward Boh. "Find anything interesting back there?"
Adalbricht will move forward with thw others, taking his time as they move toward the fake wall. He will make sure to keep the light cast from his cantrip is enough to give himself and others the ability to see.

The runes on the wall are indeed draconic, they read, "A Dragon Priest entombed alive for transgressions of the Law still retains the honors of his position." As you approach the runes, Boh you notice that one of your footfalls made a different noise than the surrounding rock. It was hollow and wooden sounding, throwing back a piece of carpet you expose a trapdoor, it is unlocked.

You notice nothing untoward about the hatch, and pry it open. The tunnel below is small, you will have to squeeze through it but you would fit. It is running west beneath the wall.

I leave the trapdoor open and return to were everyone else is near the Pit:
I foundt a tunnel, it looks like it leads to or past the room behind this pit. But it is very narrow and we would have to crawl it one after the other. Geth, maybe your owl could explore it to avoid us being bottlenecked against a swarm of bloodsucking vampire rats or some other nasties?
"That's not a bad idea."Obsben steps out from Scar's shadow and raises a hand. "If not, I could go as well? I'd need a light source. Should have some torches in here. O-or that could work too?"He points to whatever light source was active. Then following the suggestions, and he offers a crossbow bolt as the target of any lighting for the halfling before being lead to the tunnel. For all the bravado he is nervous, but still willing to at least help scout a ways ahead.
Obsben's not one to press the suggestion. Given the choice between following behind Scar or not in the tunnel however, he humbly requests to at least be infront of the bugbear for reasons that had nothing to do with bugbear butt in confined spaces.
Flying through the short tunnel deposits your Owl exactly where you expected. Violet marble tiles cover the floor and walls, though most of them are broken. Sconces are attached to the walls and are burning with a greenish flame. The stone sarcophagus lies in the center of the room with 6 rusty clasps on it. It is also glowing green. The coffin is carved with dragons and the head of the sarcophagus is a dragons head.

I look around the hidden room for any signs of danger ( perception 10) befor i call out to the others:
Looks like we got another secret room here, there is something written here, maybe in draconic?
