"Hole? Ah! You mean the hill homes. Its, uh, the Charmalaine fever, I do dare say. Only way to fix it is by walk about. Fortunately, it ain't contagious, or a fear we halflings might be infamous for as the humans about spreading out." Obsben chuckles and gives a friendly wave to any gawkers, not really seeming to be bothered by the looks.
"Hoping to work it out of my system some day soon, because--" The rest goes unspoken as Obsben catches the commotion. After squinting at the area for a few moments he sighs and pushes off his walking stick to back on two feet. "Come on, Big guy. Might just found ourselves another lead. And, uh, we'd probably get a better look at what's got everyone so all up in arms with you around, I do dare say."He hobbles along to the commotion, accepting Scar will beat him to the punch.
"Well that sounds rather ominous I must say... It seems that we must all be on the look out for whatever is killing these people." Adalbricht muses as he looks to the others, with a raised brow.

Ignoring the gawkers, as he is very much used to them, Scar listens to Obsben's story and can relate.
Then hearing and following along behind Obsben will head toward the commotion, Scar will stand behind the villagers for a moment, waiting to see if they move out of his way. If they don't he loudly says, "Move!" Then will approach the hole and see what is going on, making sure to leave space for Obsben.
Scar and Obsben- The villagers quiet a bit and move out of the way as you approach. You catch the words "stolen" and "tree" fluttering about on the breeze. To Scar's perception, while unsettling, these events appear to do not appear to cause the villagers distress. Just another day in Oakhurst.
The hole is about 2 feet square, several smaller holes branch out from the larger central depth. It appears as though roots were torn from the ground. Despite the displaced soil, there are no tracks that you can separate from the crowds.
"Nudder trees gone missing," says an older human, leaning in to Obsben. "Them goblins dinnae want anyone to cut into their business i reckon. Sneaks in and removes the seeds they plant from that magic apple."

Thank you Kerowyn. Sounds like there my be a bit of trouble ahead off us. Unfortunately we don't have anyone with us who can treat serious injuries and not a huge amount of gold either. But Maybe you could help us out with a couple of healing potions just in case those two and their friends got hurt? Or maybe you know a druid who would sell us some goodberries for a good price?
Bhuraelea- Kerowyn nods her head, "There must be some danger there if my cousins and their company have not yet returned. I wish I knew more. I can give you some potions of healing though we do not have much." She fetches 3 potions of healing and passes them over. "May Pelor watch over you."
Scar and Obsben- "The magic apples that the goblins sell," replies the old man. "They are too expensive for the likes of me and my kin, but twice a year those nasty things come wandering out of the hills holding an apple. Sometimes its red, sometimes white. I've never seen the white one at work but the red ones a gift of the gods. It can cure anything. But whosoever plants seeds from that apple wakes up one day to find those plants vanished."

Looking at Obsben with confusion, "You ever hear anything like that before?" Turning back to the village, "Where do these goblins live, I need to pay them a visit."
"Eh? There's all kinds of legends like that floating around, but this the first I've heard a thing like that being real." Obsben replies to Scar. Then, he cants his head at the Old Man. "And--no offense big guy-- but you said goblins were selling them? Talk about a lucky find on that part." His sleepy eyes grow wide at a thought. "Could it be -- uh, anyone known to go missing fer trying to keep hold of those seeds?"

Not being one to rely on charity and not wishing to take advantage of the woman to much, Adalbricht will give her the last bit of gold he has to at least give her something in exchange for the potions.
Thank you very much for your help Kerowyn. Of course we will either return the potions if we don‘t need them or compansate you for them when we come back.
Bhuraelea looks at his companions while moving towards the exit:
I think we should talk with the priestress Corkie next. By the way, i would suggest we stay in the village over night and start tracking them down in the early morning. I assume daylight feels more comfortable for most of you.
Whith a last smile and nod of his head to Kerowyn, Bhuraelea leaves the shop and starts moving towards the Temple.
Seeing the gathering outside he tries to catch Scars attention and signals him where he is going. Wondering if the little halfling is hidden within all the villagers.
On the way he fills Anton in on the little they have learned.
Anton and Bhuraelea- The Temple of Pelor is easily the largest structure in the town. Its stone walls an anathema to the squat wooden houses in the surrounding town. The doors to the main hall are wide open to reveal several rows of benches and a raised stone dais on which rests an stone altar, covered in bright red cloth. Upon the altar sits the golden sun symbol of the God of Light. A Gnome woman with red hair and green and gold robes is sweeping the landing near the front door.

Scar looks towards Bho and then the direction he is pointing and nods his head.
Then will get down on his knees to take a closer look at the hole in the ground to see if he notices anything or possibly sees any trace of any tracks.
After a quick glance to the sky and the sun, to estimate the time, Bhuraelea approaches the Gnome woman in front of the Temple. Carefully avoiding to spread any dirt, he says:
I wish you a beautiful sunny day today, isn't it ma'm? May I assume that you are Corkie the High priestess of Pelor? My companions and I recently arrived here from Never winter, where the Hucrele Familie asked us to find out what happened with their Daughters.
KKerowyn told us that they were together with a Paladin of Pelor and that they stopped by here to talk with you. So I was hoping that they may have shared with you what they were planing.
