Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Obsben starts to say something in Meepo's place, only to shake his head and just leave the Kobold to it. Though everyone -- or so he thought -- saw the cage on the way inside. Thinking of it made the halfling absently start rubbing at the white scale in his pocket, and look nervously between Meepo and the dragon.

OOC: There was a cage but there was a massive hole in the side, Meepo was supposed to be repairing it, but instead came with you. Not as accusatory as that sounds.
Meepo, thinks for a moment. In draconic, he says, "Maybe the prison room would be best until Yusdrayl can think of one better. Or until Meepo repairs old cage."
Cassius, being so close to her, you notice a shift in her the moment Meepo enters the room again. She is glaring at him like a cat had the mouse just told it to dance.

Cassius bends down to the dragon and says in Draconic. "no cage."
He then looks to Bhu and nods.
In draconic, "Meepo, do me a favor and scout back into the other rooms we were in, we need to make sure there is no one coming. If you see anything make a loud noise."
Once Meepo leaves I will motion to the party to gather round and then whisper, "I have no problem backstabbing the Kobolds they are beneath me anyway but I suggest we help the dragon escape here as well and be set free. Maybe even offer that it could join us, tempt it with a share of gold to build its hoard. I would not mind a dragon as a friend and battle companion. As much as I don't really care that much about Meepo he does seem to be the runt of the litter but he might come in handy, he does appear to be able to speak to the dragon as well as Cass, though the dragon does not seem to like him much.
"I don't know about all this." Obsben fidgets on the spot, and if the dragon is sight gives it an awkward glance. "I wanna help the dragon out 'nd all. It ain't right they kept a thinker in a cage. And... I mean, if there's no way we can convince'm to be nicer to the dragon than...I-I'll just follow the rest of you guys lead."He whispers back.

"I have to say I'm not enamored of the idea of reuniting a baby dragon with a bunch of kobolds and letting them do whatever it is they're going to do while the dragon grows up," Geth says in a whisper. "But I also don't love the idea of letting a white dragon loose into the wild to grow up and do who-knows-what. From what I know about dragons, the white ones seldom turn out to be benign presences in their region. In the short term, however, it's probably safe to assume that this dragon resents both the kobolds and the goblins, and so we may be able to use that to our advantage, and sort out the rest later. Cassius, do you want to ask the dragon if it is interested in taking revenge on its various captors?"
"Well Meepo is one of its captors. But you're right he could be useful especially in an escape. I say we offer him the chance to help, if he doesn't take it... we put him down."
Cassius takes Geth's advice and asks the dragon, "Do you want revenge on the kobold?"
Anton is amused by this shift in the group, but definitely agrees that there's something sinister about the kobold's treatment of the dragon.
"I'm okay freeing it and I'm ok if we bring Meepo out, but yes, if he declines he's a threat. My concern is for those we're here to find. We may have to push forward to find them before we return to the kobolds. If we free the dragon, we'll have made enemies of the kobolds, which probably means a fight, and almost certainly increases the risk for those we're here to rescue."
"The way I see it, we either have to give the dragon back to the kobolds, or fight the kobolds. If we're not going to give them back the dragon, the question is when to fight them? Now, or after we have rescued the hostages? If the dragon will help us clear out the kobolds and the goblins, it seems to me we're better off doing that now rather than later, since the less fighting we have to do while our charges are in our presence, and thus at greater risk of collateral damage, the better. Not to mention, then we don't have to convince them to let us bring the dragon with us to take out the goblins."
Bhuraelea moves closer to the door to keep an eye open if Meepo is close or if any Goblins are coming.
Perception 26
If he doesn’t notice anything suspicious, he will speak up : “ From what i have read, white dragons are dangerous predators, but so are lions. That doesn’t make them evil. I think a dragon controled by Kobolds is more of a thread then one that is on her own. Also if she stays in this area, she will be at a disadvantage. Her white skin may be great camouflage in mountains or on glaciers, but around here, she will be reasonably easy to spot. If we could convince her to fight with us the goblins, that would be great. In return i would fight for her against the Kobolds. If she doesn’t want to help us, i would say pass her on to the kobolds to keep them on our good side. Also, i wouldn’t mind giving her the fancy dagger we found earlier, but if we can convince her without bribe, that would be even better.
Meepo seems out of earshot and no goblin noises can be heard, so you are in the clear.
Calcryx turns her head towards Cassius and says, "No help. Free."
Whatever takes place over the next few minutes is interrupted by Meepo's return.
"I have seen their leader. Big, like you, " Meepo points at Scar, "He has others with him. He is past the the chamber with the glowing mushrooms."
Meepo is visibly excited to have Calcryx under control. He slowly approaches her, saying in draconic, "Great Calcryx, you have been returned to us from thieving goblins. Soon you will be powerful enough that they will tremble before you. You will bring our clan much glory. Now clan will respect Meepo again."
You guys aren't sure, but you think you see Calcryx roll her eyes.

Obsben doesn't say anything. He just looks to others expectantly, having already given his two cents on the choices, and remained mutely willing to go along with the group despite trepidation. But the signal to do one thing or the other would have to come from them. This much can be read in the look before he turns to Meepo. "Do you recognize those glowing mushrooms? Aare they just the glowey kind, or the.. not so friendly kind?"He asks Meepo, stalling for time, if nothing else.

And gives it to Cassius before moving away from everyone else again.
