The skeleton pulls the shovel back ready to strike again, but a flash of movement and a woody thwack! sound out as the shovel is knocked from its hand by Anton's staff. In a whirling display of athletics, Anton find his feet taking the skeleton apart piece by dusty piece.
Geth's bolt strikes the bugbear across the neck, blood spurting through his hands as he drops his weapon. Balsag's body jerks as Cassius' bolt sprouts from his chest. He looks down at it, eyes wide and unbelieving. He drops to his knees just as Scar's axe comes down and slices him from collar to calf. He falls to the floor mouthing words no one can hear and the light fades from his eyes.

Though it might have taken forever, I almost disappointed I couldn't 1v1 that skeleton in a shovel duel. As the gods intended, lol.
Also, aside from doing the usual adventurer looting the bodies things, do we short rest again after fortifying things up or something?

Scar glares at the empty entrance to this room, panting from exertion and rage, hoping another enemy mistakenly enters the room, his hands tightly gripping onto the handle of his greataxe. When no more enemies appear he lets out a big breath as you can see the tendons in his arms grow a bit smaller. He turns to Obsben and nods in agreement and walks over and sits down on the ground a bit harder than he planned, as a grunt escapes his lips. "Thank you Obsben for the healing and great work all, nothing seems to be able to stop our determination."
Also, aside from doing the usual adventurer looting the bodies things, do we short rest again after fortifying things up or something?

However, the northern passage leads to a hollowed cavern with a large tent. Next to the entrance is a large rats nest. There is a weapons rack nearby and stacked neatly against it lay 2 wooden handled spears, six javelins, a long sword and a wide, 2 handed great sword. A quick toss of the furs in the tent yield a canvas sack containing 116 silver and 21 gold.

"As much as I look forward to moving on, a rest might be in order." Seeing the greatsword, Scar will heft it and check on the worth of the weapon. "If no one minds I will keep this greatsword for safe keeping."
Scar notices this weapon is extremely well crafted. The handle is counter-weighted with what appears to be a Dwarf's head, face twisted in rage and mouth open in an endless silent scream. The blade itself is about a hand and a half wide and bears a hammer made of rock gouged into its base.
"No objection here, Mr. Scar. Surprised that other bugbear didn't make use of such a weapon tho'."Obsben says as he went about studying and possibly collecting rats for some rat gumbo over the short rest. So long as they didn't look particularly diseased. Either way, he still had a few potatoes and other rations to work with. Any coin found and given gets carefully sorted into the party pouch pocket.
The giant rats that Geth thundered to death are pretty healthy and well groomed. They served as Balsag's hunting hounds. And having their innards liquefied by intense wavelengths of sound, they are quite easy to dress. As this is a garden you also find a few tubers and edible fungi around.
(Nice roll for cooking: everyone gets 5 temporary HP for 8 hours. You guys still have about 9 hours until you can long rest again.)

Scar's head suddenly shoots up, placing the greatsword in a makeshift sheath on his back and he goes back to the room with the skeletons thinking, Now where did those bones bury those other hobgoblins that dropped down.
He will then start to search around trying to find the "graves" the skeletons buried the other two hobgoblins bodies.
The northern tunnel extends about 60 feet where it closes off to little more than a crack. Besides the tent there is only a pile of matted fur, fungus, and sticks that makes up a rats nest.
The mounded earth of the buried hobgoblins are easy to spot. Moving the dirt aside is an easy job. One is wearing silver earrings with moonstone settings worth 20 gold each, the other is wearing the matching necklace (50gp). They are covered in rough sewn hide armor and one has a club in a ring near his belt.
