Obsben blushed earlier for the compliments. "It was nothing. Now, if I had some taters and timblebach from back home -- Now THAT would've been something."Chuckling, he polishes off his meal and works cleaning things up as people readied to move on. Before anyone goes bustling through any doors, or so he hoped, Obsben makes his way to the forefront long enough to suss out who might try being the first to enter and slapping another Yondall's blessing on a knee.
"O' Big Mama. May the cornucopia you share with all your children embolden this one's spirit. So that they too may feel the warmth of your bounty, and fear not the path set before them. For you, and all your children are with them, sharing in the burden as one." Obsben says. Although there is no telling glow to the spell, a feeling of comforting warmth spreads throughout their being. Afterwards, he hustles to the back of the boss, shield at the ready and a determined look in his eyes.

OOC: I just want to take a second to tell you guys how much I appreciate this group. The group I just ran a one shot for might have been the most terrible people I've ever played with.
The room beyond the door is almost completely covered in luminescent fungus. It reveals two rows of marble columns, carved in the likenesses of dragons. There are many tables and stools strewn about the pock marked granite floor. The tables are covered with various herbs, mortars, pestles, alembics, and candles. You can see several doors leading off of this chambers, all partly open.

Edit: OoC: It occurred to me after I posted this that it might be seen as making light of substance abuse, which could be personal for some. I intended it as a way of flavoring the guidance spell that seemed to fit with Geth, namely a criminal low-life with a hedonistic streak. But now I'm on the fence about whether to leave it or edit it. I'll put it in a spoiler for now by way of "content warning" but please let me know whether you think it goes on the wrong side of a line.
"Something seems fishy about this hallway. Why are all these doors cracked open like that? I've got a bad feeling about this," Geth says.
If Bho moves forward to investigate, Geth puts a hand briefly on his back, causing him to feel a little rush, his elven pupils dilating as though he'd just had a little hit of something sold in a back alley somewhere in Baldur's Gate.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Maybe its meant to keep the room vented? There's a--"Obsben turns his nose up in the air. "Mmn! Smells like me Aunties Apothecary almost. So, it wouldn't be too surprising. But it is good cautious all the same." He admits as much, and yet cannot help but make his way to the closest table with herbs on them. As good as his rat gumbo was earlier, a few herbs could always improve the formula! Or at least, make the meal tastier.
I assume I still need an survival or nature check on the herbs to see if they are viable for food cooking as well, so:
Scar and Anton- As you approach the door the to northwest, you hear the faint sounds of snoring. It smells of goblin here. Through the crack in the door, you can see several matted pallets of straw on the floor.
Bho- The southwest door stands open and the smell of vinegar is permeating the air here. As you creep closer you can hear a soft melodic humming. Through the crack in the door you see two unarmed goblins with their trousers rolled up to their knees. They stand in a large tub filled with fungus and roots and one is humming a little tune while they stomp the mash. The tub has a draining arm running to a strained cask. Two more casks are set against the wall.
Obsben- perusing the articles laying on the table you see various bits of powdered barks, mashed leaves, fungus and roots. You notice that the leaves have the unhealthy yellow plant pallor that one gets when a plant grows without the sun. While you do not doubt the safety of eating some of these things, the question of taste still lingers. You do find a healer's kit mixed among the detritus.
Scar will hold up his hand to hopefully stop people from moving thinking, we have got to figure out some signals between the group to help us communicate better. If anyone looks his way he will point to himself but then lower his hand to indicate a shorter person and hold up a number of fingers that are in his room. The he will slide a finger across his throat , wait a moment and then criss-cross his wrists and then shrug his shoulders hopefully waiting for a response from the group as to what to do with the creatures.
Bhuraelea sees Scar and points at his door and holds two fingers up. He then takes his shortsword and indicates to everyone else that he will use his sword to wedge it between frame and door handle to give him an advantage to hold the door shut.
He then shows Scar to go ahead with clearing his room first.
Anton stands ready to throw the door open and to follow Scar into the room. Before he opens it all the way he gives Scar the 3-2-1 finger countdown. As he hits 1 he casts Minor Illusion and projects the sound of a bugbear voice to the side of the room opposite their door. The authoritative voice says, "What's going on in here?" (ooc: The idea here is to make anyone in the room look away from the door, increasing our chance of surprise.)
He then throws open the door and follows Scar into the room, ready to kick names and take ass.
Seeing Anton and Scar jump into the other room, Bhuraelea will jam the door in front off him close and will try to keep it closed by wedging his Sword between fram and handle. He will reply to the message in his head: " help the others and then come back here as soon as possible"
