The monster's ambush worked effectively as the party scrambles for a hasty retreat. While most of the party take measures to distance themselves, others try to buy time for their comrades. Davar enters his rage once more as he tries to give a parting blow to the hobgoblin who had struck. Yet the armor is harder than the makeshift of the goblins before. Before the hobgoblin could attack back, Kierro takes his place. Calling down holy fire upon the creature as Latirus manages to land a hit as well. Alter's spell goes awry as it goes off target, hitting a wall instead. Rolend stands up and joins the attack against the hobgoblin. He manages to pierce the hobgoblin's armor but finds he is still conscious as he dodges the punch.

(I guess today is a good day to die.)
If Rolend is still alive on his initiative, move next to #1, stab with spear, then punch (bonus action). If it goes down and no other hobs are in melee range, use leftover movement to go west.
Spear Attack: 22 Damage: 10
Monk punch Attack: 9 Damage: 4

With a clatter of bows falling, its quickly overtaken by the sound of steel coming out. The hobgoblins surge forward as they strike at the party that remained. Yet, instead of fatal blows, the two find themselves knocked unconscious by their hilts. As the other hobgoblins join them, differently clothed and less armored, they speak. "Surrender or your comrades die." the two robed hobs spoke. The other hobgoblins looked to the two that were still before them.

Black Cat will stealthily take a step back (k8) and see if the creatures can see him, if they did not make any indication they see him, he will continue back another 10' (i8). Then a bonus movement to f8.
[OOC: half movement for stealth correct? If they see him he will stop and drop his weapons. If they do not see him, he will continue to move back and attempt to get to the other room where he can hide once again.]

The two robed ones nod towards the center hob. Who gives a nod back, they look back to you all, not noticing Black Cat behind them all. "Move forward and we will restrain you. Resist and your friends shall pay the price." The Hobs kick aside Rolend's spear and Kierro's shield. They kneel down as they with tie their hands with chains. Two of the hobs move forward, stowing their weapons as they take out chains. There seems to be signs of an argument between them by how they speak and snarl at each other but it is quickly silenced as the center hob gives a stern word. "Tuuc!" A few glares still go about but they've stopped their verbal dissent.

Black cat seeing that he might be mostly safe from the hobgoblins sitting in the corner behind the sacks desperately trying to decide on what to do. With a shake of his head and a last look down the corridor the rest of the group is in, he silently continues out the entrance of the cave, looking around to make sure it is safe, to hide in some bushes/trees to the side of the cave and waits. He will wait to see if his companions are escorted out of the cave or if they are left inside. Depending on that outcome more decisions will have to be made.

(Will assume the others step forward as well.)
After a moment, the party is pulled out as they're escorted out by the remaining hobs. The party has their weapons and other fighting needs removed, (i.e, spell focuses and shield) while two of the unconscious ones are being carried along. There seems to be a sense of urgency as the hobs moved quickly, going after the trail you've found before, the one leading deeper into the forest.
(Kierro and Rolend will be unconscious for 2 hours. All characters except for Black cat are restrained and stripped of weapons and combat oriented items except for armor.)
Black Cat will watch his companions being escorted out of the cave and try to see if their equipment was left behind or taken with them. If their equipment is being carried by the hobgoblins than he will try to silently follow them into the forest. If their equipment is not with them, he will swivel his head from the retreating hobgoblins to the cave entrance, back and forth several times deciding on what to do.

Rolend and Kierro are stable but unconscious
As much as Davar hates retreating or surrendering, he didn't want his companions to be killed. He drops his rage and let's go of his sword.
"I doubt we can out run them at this point. We're already weakened."

Latrius notices Black Cat’s movements out of the corner of his eyes, and moves to block their view of him, while slowly dropping his weapons.

A hob starts to wrap chains around Latirus's hand, restraining him.
[OOC: Has Black Cat made it around the corner? Does he know if he has been noticed?]
(Yes, the hobs haven't noticed you as the party blocks the view of you. And yes, you are back at the entrance room.)
