[OOC: I will stick with what I said earlier, at the moment waiting to see what they are doing before any action is taken.]
Just now realizing Black Cat has forgotten to establish a signal with the rest of the group, he mentally shrugs. Continuing to watch the Hobgoblins, he will see where they go. If they take notice of his party in the next room, he will attack #5, hoping to kill it while calling out danger and making a run for the exit. If they move to another room, he will silently move to warn the group pointing out the direction they went and describing the leader.

[OOC: Waiting to see what the Hobgoblins are doing. If they don't notice the group and move out of this room, I will stealth back to our group and warn them. If they stay in this room, I will attack the nearest one to me and the cave exit (at the moment it is #5) and try to lead them out of the cave. So essentially at the current moment I am waiting to see what they are doing before doing anything.]
[OOC: I will also be away from a computer for a several hours as I take my daughter to a summer camp. Will post when/if I can this afternoon or when I get back home about 5-6 PM PST]
The hobgoblins escort the prisoners towards the entrance of the cave. But the leader speaks with the last two hobgoblins, pointing towards the right passageway. The two stay as the last of the prisoners follow the other hobgoblins.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[OOC: Is that the passageway to where the Ogre was or exiting the cave? Should have started a map of the area before and now I can't go back as the older pics are gone.]
Black Cat will now hope to move stealthily towards the group and let them know what is going on.

(Right now BC is in the entrance cave, with the outside jungle to the south. The hobs came from the east, the party is in the north, and the ex-sleeping ogre is in the west.)

The hobgoblins do spot Black Cat as he runs back to the party. They shout in their tongue as Black cat enters the large room. But Black cat doesn't hear them follow him as he get away unscathed to the group. Instead he hears them run towards the eastern passage, as they disappear from sight.
Rolend: "Since we can't finish our rest here, I suggest we move south to the entrance area. If there are too many hobs coming from the east, we don't want our exit out of these caves blocked off."

Kierro nods upon hearing Alter’s thoughts. “We can always come back into the forest. But right now, my healing powers are limited and I can’t revive people. I say we err on the side of caution and head back.”

The party moves south and find no resistance. The two hobgoblins Black Cat saw before are gone. And even those with darkvision, see no one down the eastern passage. It seems like they were in a hurry as the group left obvious trails, as it leads deeper into the forest.
(You can choose to either follow the hobgoblins, explore the eastern passage, or head back for now.)
(So there are a pair of hobgoblins leading prisoners into the jungle?)
Rolend: "Rescue time? Two hobs are heavily armored, but I think we can defeat them.
"If one of them has a shield bearing Keoland's crest, a lion, then the last (melee) blows should be non-lethal. There is a request to capture for questioning."

Black cat using Rolend's voice, speaks up, "Four Hobgoblins, One leads with 5 chained (pointing toward Ged). Go free." And then points with a feathered hand towards where the hobgoblins went.

(Looking back on post 103, two went to the east passageway, while the other 2 and the leader went with the prisoners? )

[OOC: Oh I read it as the leader and two Hobgoblins took prisoners and left the caves and the leader told the other two hobgoblins to stay behind and guard an entrance. Then when I attempted to sneak back to the group I alerted them and then the two "guarding" hobgoblins left the cave as well to run back to the rest of their group and leader. But I could be wrong.]
(Rolend is right, the two hobs that were behind went towards the eastern passage, while the others left the cave with the prisoners. Essentially speaking, you all can follow the tracks, check the eastern passage, leave the cave, or head off in a different direction. You all have a chance to come across this cave again but it will be different next time as you've cleared a good portion of its inhabitants but haven't totally cleared it. If you do leave, the tracks will be gone once you all come across the cave again. And the tracks do lead into the middle portion of the forest, as a warning. You all can head back to Burle, cash in the bounties, and possibly get better gear or more bounties.)
