The first chest show no sign of traps and inside you find mostly coppers and silvers, totaling up to about 20 gold. And inspecting the room, it shows nothing of an alternate passage or any hiding places. There only being the beddings and chests in the room. Even the way back is empty besides the bodies and the previous rooms.
Rolend tries sliding the beddings and chests, to see if there are any hidding places being covered up that way. Those two hobs didn't just drift away like a cloud of smoke.

Latirus examines the next chest. Upon close inspection, he finds that when the chest is fully opened, it pulls something on the inside. After a careful cut, he fully opens the chest to reveal a small bomb with small shards of metals. Even after the two inspect the room, there appears to be no hidden passages or hidey holes under the beds nor the chests.

Alter looks around, frowning, ”Looks like those two hobs drifted away like a cloud of smoke. If you’ve found everything,” he turns to Latrius, “we should skidaddle before any more come.”
Rolend will check the ground, to see if there are tracks left behind by the pair of hobgoblins. They usually go west, past the prisoner pens, but does it look like there is significant foot traffic to other parts of the cave (hidden door)? Survival: 13

Seeing the frustration of the others Black Cat will hop on over wander around the prisoner cells both north and south, checking the bodies to the south as he is moving, and see if he can find something as well as looking toward the ceiling of the cave.

The two of you check the floor. But by the looks of it, there were multiple people in this room. It's hard to distinguish one from another but there is something curious. You find a trail that leads about in the room that then suddenly ends. Not by the walls, beds, nor the chests but rather abruptly in the middle. And these are relatively new, not matching any of your companions.

@Latirus and Rolend
With your sensitive ears, you hear the pull of a bow.
(You can use your reaction to drop prone but cannot alert the others fast enough to drop down as well. Although you can choose to tackle one of your party members, making both that member and you prone.)
Rolend will tackle Kierro, knocking them both prone. Although it will be too late for the others (betides Latirus), Rolend still yelps, "Duck!"

Inside the room is...nothing. Nothing but simple beddings and a pair of chests. There is a torch at the end of the room but no one else is there.
Latrius will examine the chests for any signs of traps: 13
If he finds nothing, he will cautiously open them.

Latrius’s keen ears perk up, some sixth sense telling him to move. He tackles Matrim to the floor if he’s close enough.
