Lo and behold Maor wants you to come to Gudsvanlig and resolve a lifetime of conflict. after many civil wars the nation of Gudsvanlig is finally down to a time of Peace... sort of the royal army is struggling against the various neutral and criminal factions that oppose it; so it's up to you, Maor's chosen children, to pick which faction you will back in the conquest/destruction of gudsvanlig. there are 9 factions to choose from.
The Royal Army: Servants of the people led by Chief General Huxtable, sometimes used as impromptu police they are the nation's first line of defense.
The Holy Knights: sworn protectors of the crown they are a specially trained force of warriors led by Prince Telvin and Prince Rotheim, they devote themselves to the protection of the new King Mostris.
The Justice Core: half not-so-secret secret police and half detectives and investigators they serve as Judge, Jury, and Executioner in most major crimes. they deliver justice by any means necessary even if that means breaking laws to enforce them.
The Slayers: Once a guild of powerful protectors of Gudsvanlig, Mostris declared them traitors and ordering their execution. but a few young warriors survived and continue the mission to protect the people of Gudsvanlid from all inhuman threats.
Champions of Maor: one day the Archbishop of Maor said "Hey lets go become magic monks atop the mountains" and so him and abunch of followers of maor did and quickly became some of the strongest fighters in all of Gudsvanlig, they have made it their life's mission to find more evidence of Maor and his descendants.
Svil Espionage Group (SEG): they aren't bad people per say they just believe that every government official and descendant of Blod must be assassinated to protect their way of life. which in their defense isn't completely wrong.
Thieves Guild: Names can be deceiving you know, the thieves guild are not just some petty criminals stealing stuff they are an interplanar, interdimensional crime syndicate that sells everything from stolen goods, to people, to information.
Vytol Army: Barbarians obsessed with blood and war all birthed from one Aesir (God) named Blod. they seek to kill every non-Vytol and eventually kill Blod's elder brother Maor.
Great Corruptors: not much is known about the Great Corruptors except that if you meet one you die. Just ask the former king oh wait you can't they killed him without anyone knowing how they pulled it off.
this campaign is not your average campaign there are massive battles, town building, conquests and maybe a few gods you'll have to kill but the gist is this You decide how this war will go
FYI - this campaign is an interesting one while based in fantasy this world is not even remotely foreign to modern and future technologies that happens when time/space rifts open up on a daily basis
3. Depends on if I am allowed to use a character I've prepared here on dndbeyond. Will provide a link to it of course if asked. And the particular character I have in mind to use would fit into The Justice Core.
4. 3, because everyone else is saying it, and I do not understand the question or its relevancy, if any, at all. :P
2) years of sidelining, a few incomplete games (Other people can't log in every day like me, these tend to fall apart after a few months), and 1 campaign currently DMing.
3) Not sure, have to either learn a bit more about them, or see how they react to Gold-Eyes.
4) (9x/3)' = (9/3) yaay calculus!
5) East Coast, but I'm a night owl with insomnia, so basically whenever there isn't work.
