Thrak pries open the door of the cage with the Gnome. The Gnome slowly and gingerly crawls out of the cage, almost as if he's been stuck in there for a month without any time out of the cage. After finally getting to his feet, he says, "Hello! Thank you so much for getting me out of that cage! It was starting to get a little cramped in there!" He says all this in Common, Draconic, Gnomish, and Goblin, just to make sure everyone (or at least MOST everyone, hopefully) understands what he's saying. Meanwhile, Rivon searches the room, rather loudly (accidentally knocking some things over as he's looking) for traps, keys, hidden doors, and other such goodies. Alas, he doesn't find anything in this room.

Though taken aback for a second, Cade is quick to hold up a hand when the gnome started speaking in goblin. "My grammer might not be all that sophisticated, but I understand the common tongue well enough, Gnome friend. Same fer the hob that just 'elped ya there." Cade gives a wiry smile. With a start, he whips around to shoot Rivon a disapproving look. "As I was say'n earlier. Ya mentioned 'sorta' being an adventurer before?" He asks midturn back to the gnome. "Care to elaborate? 'nd on how much of this place ye've seen so far, if'n ya you'd be so kind. Oh. And the names Cade by the way." Cade requests.
The Gnome looks at Cade and says, "Hello Cade! My name's Erky Timbers! Months past, I was on my way to seek my fortune and took the Old Road. My bad luck that the Goblin bandits caught me; I've been here ever since. My Deity's blessings have kept me healthy; otherwise I'm sure I'd be dead from starvation and abuse."

"So were you alone when you were taken by the goblins?" Thrak would ask as he hands Cade the crowbar. "Have you heard talk of a white dragon, or other adventurers that may have encountered the goblins?" The hobgoblin would ask as he raises his hood once more and looks to the gnome
Erky looks over to Thrak and says, "Yes, I was alone, when they grabbed my! I haven't heard of a Dragon at all! There were some other adventurer's, though. The Goblins caught three of them over a month ago, and they were captives with me for a while! They said their names were Talgren, Sharwyn, and Sir Bradford! The Goblins kept them in here only about a week before the removed them! Belak wanted them, and that's the last I've heard about that!"

Cade perks up and cants his head at Erky. "Belak? Who da heck is that? He like one me, or--?" Cade thumbs Thrakk's position while giving Erky a speculative look. "'nd no word on a -- oh, right. "We have been hired to come in search for you and your party. It might be best if you stick with us for the time being. Just until we find the rest of your party. To identify them." Xavnan looks around at the rest of the party to judge if they are still capable to continue and go after the dragon still.
Cade looks Erky over, and as far as he can tell, he's a pretty swell chap. Erky looks at Xavnan and says, "Well, I wasn't traveling with a party! Just trying to make my way the city! I was on the Old Road when I got waylayed! I would love to continue my travels with you fine folk!" Looking at Cade, "As for Belak,I've heard the Goblins talk about the Twilight Grove down below! A wicked old human called Belak - a spellcaster, I suspect - tends an enchanted garden and harvests fruit from something the Goblins call the Gulthias Tree, but they speak of it only in the most terrified of whispers! The Enchanted fruit grows on the Gulthias Tree!"
"Now that... that sure does explain how them other goblins came to possess'em."Cade says, waggling his finger idly. "Though what the heck is a-... G... Tree? Or this Belak guy? Heck! Where'd he even come from?"The goblin asks more to himself towards the end, than anything else. Though if Erky looks about ready to answer, if only with a 'I don't know', the underbite bearing goblin promptly waves him off. "Okay, so, I guess the better question would be how ya think we get down there? I know ya been stuck in there 'fore a good little while. But if they let somethin' like that slip, then maybe?" He shrugs helplessly. "I wouldn't bother ya on the point. But seeing as our other guide kinda got "lost" in kobold triumph, uhh.... well, ya get where I'm coming from at least, right?"

Thrak would stand watching the gnome and listening to his words and then those from Cade. "We have been tasked to find the adventurers that you speak of... and while you may not have been traveling with them.. you might be the best one here to help us find them." The hobgoblin would say from under his hood. Thrak would then glance to Cade. "Right brother?"
Cade's eyes grow distant at the word 'Brother'. "Yeah... Right." He musters after a moment's pause while looking elsewhere. "We... we aughta get going either way. There's... still the other way to check out. Though if they Meepo led us down wrong way..." The goblin trails off grumbling, and absently motioning for folk to follow as he made his way back to the unexplored far northeastern chamber.

Rivon follows Cade and when they're to an unexplored area he begins his scanning routine, looking for traps, locked or hidden doors, trouble, loot, whatever.
In response to Cade Erky says, "Belak allows the goblins to sell the fruit on the surface, but I don't know why. I do know the midsummer fruit restores spirit and vigor to those who eat it; the pale midwinter fruit steals the same. As to where Belak comes fr..." He stops as Cade waves him off.
(As for unexplored areas, there are 2 doors in the previous room; 1 directly north and one to the northwest Red Arrow. Also, Leaving out of the last four rooms there are more unexplored areas to the north Blue Arrow.)
