Thrak would sit down and pull out his book and flip through the pages... trying to think of any kind of creatures that kill their prey in such a way.. .

As Thrak moves to a table, it catches Darrens interest and he follows, giving side glances to his books. Darren sees the book with lots of animals in it and also trys to remember anything that hes learned.
Satisfied with the answer, the bard adds the addition 2 shards to the coin he had put on the bar for the accomidation. He then follows the rest to the table.

Anyone willing to let me bunk with them? I only need a drawer in the dresser or the space under the bed, you won’t even know that I’m there!”
Ekk will then search and salvage through the seats and tavern... any crates or barrels that seem to be in “common area” looking for something to eat. If he can’t find anything he will pay for food. He isn’t looking necessarily to steal (blurry line for him) but one man’s trash is another kobold’s treasure.
Cade sighs through his nose and nods. "They -- /We/ ain't the nicest folk in general. So, no harm, no foul, I suppose."Deciding to leave things at that, he pays not only for a meal(2 shards) but at least three days (6 nibs) rent ahead of time. "If these seeds are the same as the one for the cure all, I suspect that see it as you trying to cut them out of a deal. At least that's what I'd put money on, if I weren't so certain they ain't doing it out of the kindness of their hearts." He shrugs, and with that takes his seat with the rest to wait for his meal.
Towards the end of it, however, and if Garon should still be around he asks, "Out of curiosity, You know if these seeds were planted anywhere near the farms?"
(OOC - You(Wreckzor) did in the character app page, but not officially here or in the PM. Closer look at Cade, for those interested.)

Thrak looks through his books, and finds 2 possible creatures that could cause wounds like that. A Spined Devil or a Twig Blight. Darren also comes to the same conclusion.
Ekk searches high and low for something to eat, but alas, Garon has already done a pretty bang up job of cleaning the common area, and there are no crates or any other such vessel in the common area. This night, Ekk will have to pay for his food.
Garon grunts at Cade's explanation and says, "Yes, we keep trying to plant the seeds so that we would have our own tree that bears this magical fruit, but someone keeps stealing them."He goes to the kitchen to make the food for all parties getting some. After about 20 minutes, he comes out with a tray full of food, each plate has a piece of meat (of some kind or other, none of you are too sure what it is), some vegetables, and some bread. After Cade asks about where the seeds were planted he says, "Well of course they were planted near the farms, it's the most fertile ground around here."

"Well looking though this book my legion gave me, I think we may be dealing with a spined devil or a twig blight.." He would say as he points to the pictures in the book. The pictures appear as though they were drawn in blood by a very skilled hand. He would then place the black leather book in his backpack after closing it with a loud clap. He would then begin digging into the meal laid out in front of him.
Oh, i didnt seem to notice anything because of the livestock being brought in. If you had to guess, how many seeds are planted at one time? any celebrations that go along with the planting?
Cade grimaces at the pictures. Though rather if it is because of the images or the use of blood is hard to say. He shakes his head after, and squints up at Thrakk. "Here is hoping its the latter of those two options then. Never faced a demon personally before, and I cannot say I relish the opportunity... not anymore." The last part he mutters to himself digging into his meal.
"I do not know magic. And maybe its a long shot. But it might just be those Goblin's didn't take your seeds... Could be they got up and, well..."He some non-committal motion with his hands before shrugging. "Regardless, think its about time I retire for the night. Hollar if you need me." Cade adds after polishing his meal and heading away to his room.

Really thats my concern. That may be something that can give us an idea of what were up against. And fearing for the lives of the animals has changed people's lives around here. If we can do something about it then im all for it.
Thrak would eat his meal carefully and with discipline.. making sure not to make a mess of the food and eating it wish surprising speed and efficiency. "I will come with you... We have purchased our rooms, we can search for the creature causing the problems and return here once we are done" The hobgoblin would say with a smile.
Ekk begins to get nervous. Shifting in his seat and scrambling his words together. “Come on guys we are already on one mission that we are gearing up for tomorrow. If they were investigating at the Citadel it’s probably all related. And we already have a lead. Thee is no need to put our necks on the line needlessly!”
But alas he will travel with the bulk of the group if they decide to go out.
