Whistler nods and points to the northern tunnel, which he starts creeping ahead of the group, trying to do some scouting. Not knowing what it is but something in his gut feeling off about this place.

Gilbert would attempt to follow behind the kenku as quietly as he can, but it becomes difficult as Whistler seems to disappear in front of his eyes. Gilbert stealth 7
As Whistler makes his way to the north passage he spots a few plants growing on the walls where some water trickles in. He finds a Mandrake Root (1) and a Blackleaf Rose (1).
The passageway runs north and ends with an iron door. He reaches out and checks the door and is a bit surprised to find the door unsecured. Pulling the door open he sees a long hallway that runs north about 60 feet and then makes a right turn. Torches flicker every 20 feet as they hang from sconces on the walls. The floor is smooth and the walls chiseled of worked stone.
The party makes their way down the passage and turn right. 20 feet up ahead is a 3 way split that goes left, right and continues straight. Torches continue to light the way.

Gilbert would keep his eyes peeled for any traps as they make their way down the hallway. "I don't think troglodytes made this..." He would say nervously.
You stand at the crossroads of three branches of passageways. To the east ahead of you the hallway runs 30 feet and then turns left, to the north the hallway runs 20 feet and then turns right. To the south the passageway goes 20 feet and ends in wooden door. The hallways are 10 feet wide and 20 feet high.
"Always left!" Darvin chimes in, resuming his position at the front of the party, and leading the group to the north.
OoC: If there had been a secret door would Gil's Perception checks (assuming sufficiently high rolls) spot them, or would that require a separate declaration that a character was looking for secret doors?
As the party heads north and then turn to the right they find a long corridor. You see signs of damage, like a powerful beast has rampaged through here. You can easily tell that this damage was done by the thessalhydra.
The hallway ends with another junction, north and south. Keeping to the 'always left' rule you make the turn north and follow the corridor 20 feet as up ahead it turns left again, goes 20 feet and then turns left again and runs 40 feet and ends with an iron door that will not open.
"No lock, huh? I guess there could be a mechanism triggered elsewhere that opens it, but maybe it's just stuck. Shall we try putting our collective weight behind it?" Darvin suggests.
Tibi watches Darvin’s efforts and says with a grin “that is really rather pathetic, Gentlemen! Perhaps we should give consideration to engaging some muscle on a permanent basis when we get back to base?”

((Yes, sufficiently high rolls will find them without specifically stating what you are looking for. ))

Gil will move to the door and inspect it, looking for any locks or magical traps....

Try as you might you are unable to budge the door. It's firmly stuck.
