"Well maybe when you show me some of your songs later, one of them can be a song about butts." Astra says, as she gets ready to take out the gargoyle that's harassing them.

"Miss constructs not wrong. Some women too are into that as well." Nirzeg tacks on while thumbing his chin and admiring his work. "But that is good idea. I would probably make quite the number of dragons learning special version of that spell for special occasions. If you might volunteer later..."Let the last word hang there as he fiddle around his pockets for something. "Drat. Not here. Very well. Let's keep it simple then. BIP!"He says summoning a black bolt of fire at one Bip the flying monkey distracts assaulting Astra from his wand.
Derrikoth continues shouting as he stabs the gargoyle in front of him once more, "Fear not civilians! I shall save you!".
Attack: 26 Damage: 12
His horse then disengages from the gargoyle and he rushes over to the one attacking Genevieve, "Fear not civili- oh! It's you two!" he pauses as he sees Nirzeg, "And you. Well, everyone deserves some saving."
He thrusts at the gargoyle before moving to be 5 ft away from it.
Seeing one gargoyle fall and another depart, Alus smiles, hoping this kerfuffle may end sooner rather than later. He turns his attention to the gargoyle assailing Derrikoth. The spectral anchor shifts so it is above the gargoyle, and plummets violently onto its head.
"Alright now guys, follow the lead of your smart buddy and go on home."
Alus extends his arm and points his spear in the direction of the remaining two gargoyles. The air around them begins to vibrate slightly, as if about to erupt.
Action: Readying Shatter with the trigger being a moment where both gargoyles can be hit by the spell but nobody else AND at least one of the remaining gargoyles have indicated a desire not to flee.
"Is it only the lizard kind who cannot remember names and are blind?" Genevieve asks no one in particular, pointing her fingers at the two remaining gargoyles, hoping to cause them to run away with their friend. "Shoo."

Genny and Alus' attacks land on the same gargoyle, and it takes off into the evening sky, whooping and cursing in its gravelly language while retreating. The other gargoyle looks as if it also wishes to retreat, now that it's all alone.
// Astra is up! Do you allow the gargoyle to leave? //
Astra turns away from the gargoyle and responds to Genevieve. "I don't know, maybe we can make some name tags so that he might be able to remember who we are. But first, I think you owe me some songs!" She says with a smile, gesturing towards the gargoyles, who are either fleeing or shattered.
The last gargoyle flies off, spouting off all sorts of obscenities in terran. All of the hateful creatures head towards the large mansion on the hill, to the northwest, which overlooks the market square and the tower of the lord protector.
They do not return.
The dozen or so townsfolk that stuck around to watch the fight are now coming out of hiding, applauding and thanking you for defending them.
"Show that no good wizard what for!" One of the bystanders says happily.
Despite original intentions, seeing the people whipped up into celebrations, Nirzeg wisely chose to phase out out of existence. At least briefly long enough to get to the edge, or back inside the tavern to corner someone along with questions about the so called "wizard manor" inside.
Though if none are about to try this with, settling for finishing his meal instead fails to ruin his mood. He maintains his spell on Astra for as long as possible, knowing her great size would hold the most attention. But Bip keeps an eye from the roof again; especially on the dragonborn. Only once Derrikoth decides to move elsewhere will the familiar leaves its perch to quietly follow after the male.
Some of Astra's wounds close, an after-effect of the curse she laid upon the dead Gargoyle. As she shrinks, she turns to Genevieve. "Do you think that they'll give us a free room, now that we've played the hero for them?"

“Whether or not, they should give us a room anyways for my performance. We should see what we can find out about this wizard.” Genevieve says almost a matter-of-factly before she turns over to where the elf made his inquiry. “Yes, we are amazing, please answer the wet ones question. What wizard do you all speak of? Can we abolish him?”

As Genevieve speaks, Astra tears off two pieces of parchment. On one of them she writes. "My Name Is Astra. I'm Working With You." On the other she writes. "My Name Is Genevieve. I'm Working With You."
"Please, I can hardly take any credit for that one."He smirks back at the ranger. "But, no, I don't imagine this Kolstaag would be all to happy. I know I wouldn't, but usually a little monetary would handle that." Nirzeg plops down beside her, and set aside his meal. "But to create or employ something like was no easy task, I suspect. Which begs the question why would he risk such prizes on terrorizing plebeians of all things. Such a waste of time and effort, you know!"He says, feigning being upset.
"Which begs the question... I know you've recently returned to town, so may not be so caught with what may have happened only recently. But if you could provide some further insight into this man... or woman? Whatever this wizard is, that would be just swell. And why he hasn't been seen to at this point by whatever or whoever amounts to a protector of this place."
Outside, in the market square, more citizens are crowding around, numbering about 20 now. In answer to Genevieve's question, the man that mentioned the wizard clears his throat. "Oh, yes, my apologies, ma'am," he says, clearly unsettled by the appearance of the construct, but doing his best to keep his composure. "Well, you see, back about 5 months ago, this wizard moves into that mansion that he'd had built. Only he's the most disagreeable person who ever moved to Triboar. Calls his place 'The Boar's Rest,' but ever since he's moved in there's been trouble o' one kind or another. Strange visitors, spells at all hours of the night, and he always keeps to himself. Very fishy, if I may say so." The rest of the gathering crowd seems to agree with the man's sentiment.
"So now he's got these gargoyles up there, and this is the third time in a tenday that they've been accosting us. They're right nasty pieces of work, and I'm glad you've driven them off!" The man finishes with a nod.
Back in the pub, Zindra shrugs. "Knowing what little I know about gargoyles, I'd say they seem fairly autonomous. They're not summoned by a spell that I know of; they've just been hanging around ever since I came into town a few days ago. Probably there's been some bargain struck. I try not to get involved in town politics, though," she says evasively, in answer to Nirzeg's question. "You could talk to the Lord Protector, I suppose. She'd have more answers, as she's the one that deals with that sort of stuff."
Derrikoth waves happily to the crowd as the last gargoyle takes off, giving them a small bow from atop his horse. Then, humming a small tune, he heads back to his temporary home with the wonderful cabbage lady. Once he gets there, he asks her, "Say, Tolmara, have you ever heard of this wizard? Apparently he sent a few gargoyles into town just now. Someone should really do something about that."
