At a young age, Kevros was a discovered to be a prodigy. He was eager to absorb as much knowledge as was granted to him. It started with children’s books, but he quickly out grew them. By the age of 8 he was reading through complex manuscripts explaining spells and how wizards are capable of bending the powers of the arcane to their own benefit. By the age of 10 he had out grown his hometown’s libraries and yearned for more. So, through a lot of persuasion and some carefully worded letters, Kevros was allowed to leave his home to apprentice under a wizard in a far off city. There he studied relentlessly until he finally decided on where he wanted his life to take him. Sticking to his master’s school of spell casting, Kevros vowed to record and study every abjuration spell in existence. Rumors of lost spells of an age long past have also made their way to Kevros, and he seeks those out as well, whether to finally end those rumors or bring them into the light of truth. Now at the age of 19 he is ready to set off on his own adventure for knowledge. To this day, Kevros still writes home to his parents about his most recent expeditions. Family means everything to him.Put your spoiler here.
My tribe of Goliaths was small, but powerful. We were the smallest tribe in the land but none could conquer us. Why? Because we, unlike most goliaths learned how to use magic. The magic was dark and sinister, but allowed us to become a force of reckoning. When the time came for me to learn the dark arts, I was excited to be given this knowledge. My parents are one of the most proficient magic users in the tribe, but when it came time for me get my first taste of magic, I felt something dark and horrible clutch at my soul! Instantly I could tell that a piece of my soul had been ripped from me, I fled in terror trying to protect what was left of my ethereal identity. I realize now, that it is not the tribe that is using magic for their own gains... But it is the magic which is using my tribe for its own agenda. My family are puppets, dancing to an evil tune played by an unseen master. I vow to free my tribe, and if that proves to be impossible... I vow to take vengeance upon this master of darkness and reclaim the piece of my soul that was ripped from me. In order to fulfill my promise I have committed my life to the light and to what is good and just.... I fear that if I stray from this path, the rest of my soul may very well disappear from my body. The truth is... I dream of that fateful night that my soul was ripped out of me every night... Sleep does not come easy to me.
Right I am just looking into getting a second group up and running. Just finishing the last of my weird shift pattern. I am currently putting the general plot together for team two. Who was still interested ?
For those of you that are, your characters will be starting in the Hags Head Tavern in a small lakeside village known as Mudmere. The spoiler contains the reason behind this. You will exist in the same world as the other group but are currently on different errands.
While your bargain had came to fruition you had yet to hear of the price, until the letter appeared. At least you think it appeared, it certainly hadn't been there before, nobody had delivered it even! On inspecting it it was plain and of no remark save for you having no knowledge of where it had came from, it was addressed to you...with your handwriting. The contents of this letter was a set of simple instructions, written in your own hand asking you to go to a village called Mudmere, where you will find a pub called the Hags Head and within your would find a small group of persons ( someone had even drawn pictures of their faces and names) and further instructions. The bottom of the letter had a note "keep the secret, maintain the seal." ... this last part was a puzzle that you barely had time to contemplate before you had a burning sensation on your wrist. A runic tattoo had appeared on your wrist almost alive and writhing beneath your skin.

Just as a way of updating, you haven't been forgotten. I should get most of my stuff moved today and just need to have an internet connection sorted out. Once that's sorted Ill do a roll call and see who still has a place for their character and we will start. I also spent the past 2 weeks getting used to a new position, systems and all manner of chaos so haven't been available much.
Sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment caused. I hopefully should be able to get things going once the broadband is live and hopefully doesn't turn out to be a faulty line.
