Perhaps the magic is similar to a fairy circle, but works on an opposite principle. Rather than keep us from the interior, it opens a path otherwise hidden. This is a speculation, of course. We simply don't know enough to be certain. Either way, if some group is allowed to pass freely, I can fool the magic, if that is our goal. I say we vote to see if we want to try it, and if so I suppose Fey type it the logical place to start. I would also need a volunteer to try ot on first. It may be whoever volunteers' responsibility to go on their own (or possibly with one other) for help while the rest of us stay behind for a couple of days."

While the order doesn’t actively investigate theses circles and the gateways to feywilds, they have gathered a bit of knowledge over the years. Fairy circles are believed to trap anyone other than the fey. People that get trapped eventually pass out and awake some distance away and generally don’t find their way back to the circles. Although, there are reports of individuals escaping these traps. There is a theory, that the fairy circles might be made by pixies, and due to their good nature, the creatures are assumed to make a way for the trapped individuals to escape.
Ignus
Although Ignus has studied much about the Fey and their magic he can’t seem to recall a lot about these fairy circles, as Dreel had called them. From what he remembers, the Old Forests to the south are full of fey creatures as there is believed to be an abundance of gateways to the feywilds. However, as far as the fairy circles go, Ignus recalls reading about a similar abjuration magic. The simplicity of a protective circle leaves for a big flaw – any interruption to the constant flow will weaken its strength or completely undo the spell. He also recalls that these types of spells usually allow for individuals to either leave the circle, or walk towards the centre, if they know what the circle is protecting and their aim is to reach it. Whether the Fairy Circles function similarly, he is unsure.
"If I'm recalling my studies correctly, we have two viable options. We can attempt to walk toward the center of the circle, assuming we know what it's protecting," Ignus starts. "Or we can attempt to undo whatever magic is fueling the circle by interrupting the flow. I'm not entirely sure how we would do that, however. Any thoughts on what the circle might be protecting?"
[OOC: Would Ignus know how to interrupt the flow?]

Rutah finally snaps back when he hears what it might be protecting, "Wouldn't it make sense for Waldo to be the one being protected? None of us know who or what he is, right?" He takes a moment scratching his chin, "And for interrupting the flow, could we perhaps dispel some portion of whatever it is you are seeing? I must say I am growing restless standing here for so long, I'd prefer to be moving at all then to be still." Rutah peers about, trying to see if anything has been as idle as the group in the dense fog surrounding them.
"Dispelling the magic was my first thought, but unfortunately I don't yet possess that ability." Ignus also seems frustrated but is keeping composed. "The mystery surrounding who or what Waldo is certainly could mean he's being protected. I suppose there's only one way to find out."
Ignus focuses deeply on Waldo - everything he's heard, every correspondence he's had regarding him, etc - and steps off the path...
Clipclop: (to the party[telepathically]) "I agree with Rutah, we should get moving. Despite my skills with magic i do not possess the ability to dispel magic. I'm better at magic involving the mind, and my psychic powers are magical." ... clipclop thinks for a minute. "Could we try throwing an object, then trying to find it and using that to get out of here? the object could be thrown in a direction and we follow the object not the trail." (OOC: that might have been too creative for a kenku, so i can redact that last idea if it was too creative.)

"Not sure how it works, but I've heard these are made by pixies. They might leave a way for good people to get out of these, rather than just letting them wander till they pass out." After a moment of thought, Dreel will say a bit loud as if announcing to anything which may be listening "We don't wanna harm the forest or it's denizens, only to pass through." And attempt to step off the path again.
"Wanting to dispel the magic was my first thought as well, but I have also not mastered that power. Well let us try to focus on Waldo and try and pass on if that fails I will disguise the magic Aura of two of you to appear as Fey to the circle, and that should likely let you pass."
Jaylen then repeats "to Waldo" over and over in his mind and attempts to step off the path.
"Maybe we should make some noise? I do have my instruments, after all. Call out for Waldo? He is probably expecting us, given our arranged happenstance. Y'all must have pots and pans in your mess kits to clang."
[Ignus would know that the flow would likely be interrupted by dispelling a part of it, he would also know that there are some materials that do not allow for magic to flow through them. @Clipclop, that’s fine, I’m not that bothered on the whole no creativity part of Kenku curse. So long as you don’t come up with some type of a new invention, you’re fine.]
Rutah does not notice anything new. The forest remains still and other than the echoing sounds, there does not seem to be anyone or anything near the group.
Dreel’s words, although spoken loudly, seem to be diminished by the mist. As he attempts to step out of the circle his form once again shifts onto the path and he does not move.
Ignus steps off the path and towards the centre of the circle. While it does look like he is no longer in line with the rest of the group, Ignus can still see the path under his feet. Followed by Rutah and Jaylen, they continue towards the centre of the circle. After only a few steps, the path starts to blur and the forest gives way to a clearing. [I’ll leave it for the rest of you to decide whether you follow or not]
It’s a small clearing, barely big enough for the wooden house that stands in the middle of it. As the travellers emerge from the forest, the fog around them starts to disperse, leaving only moisture in the air of the glade. In front of them now lies a well-kept garden with flowers and herbs of all kinds; which runs the full length of the house. The variety of plants is not something one would expect to see gathered in a single garden, much less in the middle of the forest. At the far end of the garden are wooden stairs leading to the lifted patio of the house, and there, the travellers see an older human man. The man is wearing a simple shirt and trousers that are partially covered by a fine leather cloak. His hair is short, neatly combed and completely grey, much like his short and well-trimmed beard. Upon noticing the travellers emerge within the clearing, he straightens up. “Come inside when you’re ready.” He then turns and leaves along the patio, disappearing around the corner of the house.
Rutah is in disbelief. He slaps Ignus a little to hard on the shoulder, "You're brilliant! I would have never thought to do that! Hahaha!" His laugh is very genuine and full. Rutah then looks about. "Where are we? And everyone else? And that man, he must be Waldo, right?" Somewhat bewildered, Rutah only takes a couple steps forward before waiting for any sign of the rest of the group.
Baconoid follows the smarter members of the party out of the fog and into the clearing. "We don't know if there are others here. That may or may not be Waldo. I've not met him yet myself."
"Would the best first guess be that Fey are allowed to pass through? That's the type of creature we know are associated with these circles," Ignus states.
