Donovan gasps "Just...a flesh wound" and pulls the arrow from his chest while praying "God or goddess that I serve, please heal your servant so that I may continue to bring your joy into the world and support those that would stand against those that would bring only darkness and pain." He then casts Cure Wounds on himself
Healing: 13
He then moves to K10 for both cover and to be able to better provide help where needed.
Tozo is the last to act. He moves to F9 and casts Shatter on H2, dealing 7 damage to all three enemies.
Mordai's attack against the Sergeant is unsuccessful, completely missing him, however, the strike against the Spearman fares much better, hitting him squarely in the chest and dealing 11 damage.
All in all, the Sergeant and the Archer have each been dealt 7 damage, while the Spearman has suffered 18 damage.
Having the time to act, the Archer is first to do so again. He has failed to realize that Morgan is focused on defending himself, so attacks him with his longbow. He is able to exchange his move actions into another attack, so, while he cannot move, he can loose two arrows at his target.
Attack 1 at a disadvantage - 19 or 21, whichever is lower. Damage, if hit - 10
Attack 2 at a disadvantage - 15 or 16, whichever is lower. Damage, if hit - 10
Meanwhile, The Sergeant has also decided to attack Morgan. He runs towards the Fighter, but, at the last second, instead of striking him with his sword, takes out a small vial and throws it down at Morgan's feet. The vial explodes, releasing vile gasses and deals 17 damage. Morgan must make a DEX or CON save (his choice) with a DC of 15 to halve the damage taken. The Sergeant stops at K4, facing Morgan.
Finally, the Spearman has managed to spot Tozo, so he charges the Gnome, striking him with his spear.
Attack - 13, Damage, if hit: 7
After the enemies have acted, this is what the positioning looks like:
Morgan tightens his grip on his blade and focuses on the sergeant raising one hand up speaking and making sigils with his hand. “You should fear more then just a blade.” Casting cause fear Wisdom save DC14
(OOC. damn that’s some hard Damage then, good roll)
Donovan moves up to L7 and shouts “Stay steady Morgan!” so that he knows who’s behind him and places his hands on Morgan’s shoulders while saying “Let your body purge its toxins and go forth in life and happiness” and casts Lesser Restoration to remove any poison lingering in him.
He then moves to L9 to to be ready for the next time he is needed.
Mordai is torn on the decision on to help, he has heard Morgan cry out a few times in pain as attacks have struck him but he also sees Tozo is against the spearman.....Deciding on his action he moves a few steps to this right (n14) while 4 glowing orbs appear around his head and then he points a finger at the Sargent and lets them fly.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morgan casts his spell against the Sergeant, who attempts to resist it. WIS Save - 5
The Sergeant is able to compose himself, smiling at Morgan: "And you should fear my blade".
However, before the Sergeant is able to attack the fighter, Reginald runs towards him stabs him from below. The poisoned dagger cuts partially through the armor, leaving a gash in his back and dealing a total of 20 damage, as well as poisoning the Sergeant. The man grunts with pain and turns, facing Reginald, instead of Morgan.
Meanwhile, Donovan removes the lingering effects of the poisonous clouds from Morgan, while Mordai strikes the Sergeant with a magic missile, which impacts at his waist level, dealing 16 damage and almost knocking him off his feet. The Sergeant is clearly not in a good place.
Finally, Tozo casts Scorching Ray at the Spearman. He hurls three balls of fire at his assailant.
Attack 1 - 14, Damage, if hit: 3
Attack 2 - 9, Damage, if hit: 6
Attack 3 - 16, Damage, if hit: 4
Two of Tozo's attacks are successful, severely burning the man opposing him.
All in all, the Sergeant has taken 43 damage, Spearman has suffered 33, while the Archer was dealt 7.
Then, the Archer gets a chance to attack. He is not the most creative person, so chooses to continue what he was already doing. He looses two arrows at Morgan.
Attack 1 at a disadvantage - 11. Damage, if hit - 12
Attack 2 at a disadvantage - 9. Damage, if hit - 13
OOC: Ignore the "disadvantage" above, I do not want to remove it as the site might freak out, but there was no disadvantage there.
The Sergeant, meanwhile, attacks Reginald with his sword. He strikes twice at the Ranger:
Attack 1 - 13. Damage, if hit - 8
Attack 2 - 13. Damage, if hit - 6
The Spearman, meanwhile, strikes at Tozo again, this time with far more vigor put into the attack.
Attack - 22. Damage, if hit - 13
After the enemies have acted as well, the situation is as follows: Morgan is unconscious, having collapsed after being struck by the final arrow, while Tozo on the one hand, and the Sergeant and the Spearman on the other hand are all on their last legs. Also, somehow having powered through the pain, so that the poison did not affect his strike, the Sergeant seems to be on the verge of collapse and is unlikely to even be able to attack anyone in the coming seconds. Reginald and the Archer are slightly injured, while Donovan and Mordai are the only ones remaining healthy.
Hearing the grunts and cries of pain around him, Donovan pushes through the bushes to get to I7. He then concentrates and yells “do not despair! Let the joy of life and beauty flow through you!” and uses his Channel Divinity feature to Preserve Life. He heals 10hp to Morgan, and 5 each to Regi and Tozo.
Morgan stands up using his blade and moves to J3 to get opposite of Reginald hoping the Sargent is distracted. Through bloodied eyes he will swing at him.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mordai will move closer to the attackers to get a view onto the bowman (i12), who seems to have stayed out of the fight mostly, accept for peppering the group with arrows and will launch three glowing globes at the figure.
Donovan's healing powers are extremely timely, as his blessing helps Morgan regain his senses and return to the fight, potentially saving his life. Reginald and Tozo are hugely thankful for the support received as well.
Reginald's attack with the Venom dagger is unsuccessful, however, his underhanded strike with the off-hand dagger does reach his target, cutting into his thigh and dealing the Sergeant 12 damage.
Morgan is just barely able to hit the Sergeant, his blade finding its way in-between the target's armor and dealing a further 9 damage.
Meanwhile, Mordai releases three small orbs of light at the Archer, who has no way of defending himself and is dealt 11 damage.
Finally, Tozo repeats his strike against the Spearman, dealing a further 13 damage.
With these strikes, both the Spearman and the Sergeant, almost simultaneously, fall down onto the ground, blood coming out of their orifices and their bodies contorting in the final struggles to retain life. However, it is for naught, and they take their final, heaving breaths, before ultimately succumbing to their injuries.
The Archer, seeing this, and being quite hurt himself by Mordai's blast, throws down his Bow, puts his hands up and shouts:
"I surrender, no way I'm dyin' for a dead man's vision! Ya really are the killers that lady told the Sarge ya were!"
“Come forward boy. We’re going to have a chat. Come over to the campfire. Don’t do anything stupid and we won’t hurt ya.”
Regi approaches the archer and pats him down. Any weapons go right to the ground where his bow already lay then he will lead him back to the campfire with the point of the dagger presses against the back of the archers neck

The only other weapon the Archer had was a dagger tied to his belt and the arrows in the quiver on his back, which Reginald takes off. The Archer is indeed quite young and seems compliant, not wanting to die. He says, while being patted down:
"It was Sarge, he had a dream or sumtin', told Gramps an' me to follow 'im, as sum villains... I mean, people from down south were comin' up to kill sum noble lady, who came to 'im in a vision and begged for 'elp. Please don't kill me".

Morgan walks up to the boy and gets close to his face, still bloodied, cut and angry from the fight. He grabs the boy by his clothes and pulls tight.
“I don’t give a shit about the other two they’re dead. I want to know names. Who is this lady? What people do you imply are coming from the south? And who the **** is willing to kill someone on getting a dream!”

Morgan is using all his strength to stand up and hold the kid but you can see he is close to falling again, he was battered and bruised and would need time to rest after this.
(If he is not considered hostile Morgan would use friends to gain advantage on charisma checks for the next minute. Intimidation roll if allowed advantage: 11)
Morgan's rant has clearly worked on the kid, who is quite terrified already and is fully willing to disclose everything (And Morgan does gain advantage). He says:
"This is what happened - 'Twas this early mornin', when Sarge... umm... Sergeant Purward woke me an' Gramps... I mean, Edgor, up an' said, that he had had a vision. A White Lady, an Elf, came to 'im and said she was in trouble. She'd ran to the town... Totrichel, to hide from sum murderous villains, who were on 'er tail and wanted to kill 'er. She told 'im there'd be five of 'em and sum of 'em wouldn't be human, and that they'd be comin' up the road from Genmore. 'E's the boss, so Gramps an' I did not ask questions. So, we began patrollin' this place, and, well, stumbled upon this camp. When we saw ya, it was clear, that the Elf had meant ya. Oh, and Sarge said, she gave 'im a pearl as a token of her goodwill and, when 'e woke up, there it was, in 'is hand. 'e should have it in 'is pocket or sumthing. And my name is Pin... I mean, it's Edgor, but when half the kids in the village are Edgors, ya need a nickname, ya know... So that's that. Please don't kill me".
Morgan took a deep breathe as his grip tightened and then released the boy. He went to find the sergeants body to get the pearl. Morgan was almost at a loss, they had woken up and been thrown around and found themselves stuck trying to understand why. They were going to Totrichel to find answers but being called murders.
Morgan searches through the Sergeant's body. Being a military man, the Sergeant does not carry items that he would not immediately need, so there is almost nothing in his pockets, with the sole exception being an immaculate pearl. It is white, and does not seem to be special in any way. It is just a pearl. Though pearls are not cheap, of course.
Reginald's questions do not help the boy calm down, but he does respond:
"No, 'e never knew 'er, 'e was actually surprised a "Lady of her great beauty", as 'e said, would choose to talk to a lowly soldier, even if in a dream. 'E wanted to save her from ya guys. What, are ya sayin' she lied? It did seem awfully weird, whatever it was. So, please don't kill me.
