Pardo moves deliberately, careful not to jostle his armor. He refects that he is probably fortunate that it is currently covered in both his own blood and goblin gore, as the chains seem to slide across each other without making too much sound. He crosses the stream and crouches down b at the edge of the thicket. Peeking around, he can see two Goblin [OOC presumably] guards. He motions Ebb to follow.
Kilxus stays a bit behind letting everyone else move up, he slows his breathing as he readies himself for the qttack hoping that he will be more useful this time.
Moving carefully, Pardo and Ebb cross the stream and go through a small area in the briar thickets has been hollowed out to form a lookout post or blind. Wooden planks flatten out the briars and provide room for guards to lie hidden and watch the area - including a pair of goblins lurking there right now! The goblins are chatting lazily and don't notice their presence.
Similarly, Loraviel and The Priest cross the stream gingerly, but they take a more direct route, going through the thickets, trying to catch the goblins unawares. The thickets are difficult to traverse but they aren't dangerous, just annoying. All goes according to plan, with a exception. Quite an interesting exception actually, as Surge trips on a branch and falls prone in front the dumbfounded goblins, who scramble to get on their feet and bring out their scimitars to attack The Priest.
Unfortunately for the creatures, they give their backs to Surge's comrades, who get to attack them before they get to strike The Priest.
Pardo creeps up on the second Goblin, who is facing away from him. He remembers impaling the fleeing goblin from earlier and feels a renewed flush of shame. His blade pauses as he agonizes. Suddenly, he hears a loud rustle from the thicket punctuated by what he can only assume are curses in a strange, primordial language. At the same time, he sees Ebb quickly dispatch the second goblin effortlessly. Pardo's target is inspecting the thicket with a mix of curiosity and amusement when Pardo acts instinctively. He "attacks" the Goblin by giving him a firm slap with the flat of his blade upon the target's goblinoid buttocks. The guard whirls around in surprise. Pardo shrugs and motions with his shield arm for the goblin to draw his scimitar.
[OOC, the roll was miss, but I wanted to give it some flavor. Hope it suffices)
Surge curses as he hits the ground but it seems to work out ok as Ebb quickly gets the upper hand and dispatches one of the goblins. Seeing that Pardo seems to be looking for a fair fight Surge hesitates, but then whispers "I understand, my friend, but now is not the time". He draws his rapier and makes a thrust from an awkward position as he is halfway up in his effort to stand, the tip of his blade glancing off of the goblins leather armor as the creature turns to face Pardo.
Loraviel watches as Surge falls down in front of a Goblin, but he was able to get just in time to strike it. Seeing that the Goblin had not fallen, Loraviel asks for the Goddess' blessing and gets ready to strike it. The Hand of Oskana glows with Nature's energy and moss grows on it. She cast Shillelagh. Holding the Hand of Oskana and her shield, she charges past Surge and strikes the Goblin.

Pardo couldn't contain a wry smile befitting one raised to be an aficionado of both armed combat and broad slapstick. The old man would say that was very "on brand" for me ... he mused.
"OK, mates. Who's up for some spelunking?" Pardo asked, already striding in the direction of the cave entrance.
Loraviel feels a rush of Nature's power in her body. She is not able to contain her excitement, and tears of happiness flows down. "Mother! Father! I am finally one with Nature!! Bless the Goddess." She runs pass the dead Goblins, through the thickets, and into the Forest. Her companions wondering what is the Druid doing. All of a sudden, they hear the loud roar of a bear. "Rawwwww!!!!!" Out of the trees comes out a Brown Bear walking towards the party. The beast goes straight to Pardo and starts to sniff at the Halfling. Pardo looks tiny next to the huge bear. "Aww, rawww... huuuuu..." It seems that it is trying to communicate with the Halfling. Then, it has what looks like a puzzled look on it's bear face. The bear looks towards the other companions. "Raw?"
The bear stands on it's hind legs, and all of a sudden, a cool breeze surrounds the bear and it start to glow with Nature's green energy. The breeze turns to strong winds, and green leaves sprouts in the wind engulfing the bear. When the wind dies down and the leaves drop to the ground, the party see Loraviel in its place. "Did you understand what I said?" She asks Pardo.

The Priest wasn't expecting Loraviel to run off into the woods but smiles when she calls out blessing her Goddess. He is a bit taken aback by the roaring bear that appears but quickly guesses at what has happened, having known a druid before. He is amused as it starts making sounds and gestures that are surely not that of a hostile or scared bear.
Looking down the Priest notices that his own holy talisman, specifically the one of Valkur, has started to smoke with wispy dark clouds and then sees the tiniest of lightning bolts arc across it a few times. He smiles much more widely now, looks back at Loraviel and announces "the Gods are truly looking upon us now." "They are with us on this righteous quest. Let us show them that we are worthy, eh?" With that the priest turns and starts to head back into the cave. He pauses once more to let their more talented folk go ahead and looks at Pardo with a smile to add playfully and quietly "do you think you can keep your bear from growling too loud for a bit?"
Loraviel smiles back at Surge. "Yes indeed Priest. I am sure Goddess Mielikki blesses this company of friends." She bows slightly to Surge. As the priest starts to head to the cave, Loraviel hears his comment about the "growling", and she flushes a little. "My apologies, I could not wait. I will try to be more discreet."
"My friends, I will take the last position, for I have never been to a cave before. I will try not to slow you down. I promise."

Pardo sheathes his sword and slings his shield across his back. Stopping briefly, he rifles through his pack, producing a torch and a tinderbox.
"I am afraid that I am at a disadvantage in dark caves. Hopefully, I can rely on those in our party more suited to working in the darkness, but I am prepared in any case."
Just inside the cave mouth, a few uneven stone steps lead up to a small, dank chamber on the east side of the passage. The cave narrows to a steep fissure at the far end, and is filled with the stench of animals. Savage snarls and the sounds of rattling chains greet your ears where three wolves are chained up just inside the opening. Each wolf's chain leads to an iron rod driven into the base of the stalagmite.
The wolves can't reach the steps but don't seem very happy with your presence. Fur on their necks up, fangs bared, and ears straight, they seem ready to jump if any of you gets closer. In here, light coming from outside still allows Pardo and Surge to see the surroundings.
After Surge tosses some bites to the wolves. Loraviel goes to the steps and meditate. After a couple of minutes. She asks the wolves. "We are here to defeat your masters. Can you help us? If you prefer to leave this cave, we can free you all. What do you say?"

MEAT GOOD! GOBLINS MEAN! BIG ONE NOT FAIR! TREAT FANG BEST! WHY NO CHAIN FOR FANG?
Lovariel senses that the wolves, for the time being, will let the party pass into the chamber on the right, which we will call the Kennel.
On the East wall of the kennel is a natural fissure, which you find to actually be a chimney that is filled with debris flung from above. The chimney appears to rise to an area roughly 30 feet above.

Loraviel will go ahead of Pardo. "We go to the thickets and wait for Ebb. Then we go through."
Loraviel and Pardo stealthy crosses the stream and goes to the edge of the thickets and waits for Ebb to get into position.

Ebb will sneak up to his target, then crack his quarterstaff on the goblin’s head, then immediately punch him in the spine.
(I’m pretty sure I killed it with 9 points of damage, if so, here’s the RP)
Right after he punches the goblin, he’ll put his arms out to catch it as it falls, and he’ll lay it on the ground, slowly.
