You reach his house and upon knocking on the door it is opened by a butler. "Name and appointment time?" as you see Syndra walk past. "Let them in. They are with me" She leads you into a seating area and an a tray with water, tea and biscuits is floated in "What can I help you with?"
"He unfortunately does not know anything. He knew of the death curse but he only knows the Soulmonger exists because I told him. If you have any other questions for him I could go fetch him. He has a good knowledge of lore and magic, but this Soulmonger is knew so he hasn't got the information. I suggest for knowledge you could try the Temple of Savras. Or Wakanga might know other people in Chult outside the city who might know"
Chazrael frowns a little at the mention of the Temple of Savaras and shakes his head. "We tried the Temple of Savras and they asked a modest donation of 25 gold, which we may not be able to do since we also need supplies. Would you happen to know of anyone who needs work completed?"

"Why didn't you tell me you needed money. I can give you an advance of payment if you require. Money won't be much use to me if this death curse kills me." She counts out from a pouch and gives 100gp to you. "You can use this for supplies and information"
Heading back to the temple, you see a human walking up to you with a bag that is full of identical books. "Hello there, I am Volothamp Geddarm. You have probably heard of me. You look like adventurers. I highly recommend buying a copy of my latest book, Volo’s Guide to Monsters! It could save your life. Just 50gp for a signed durable hardback copy.”

"All my copies are signed. If you change your mind, you can probably find me in a tavern!"
Getting to the temple of Savras, you make your way back to the temple. Giving your donation (just the 25 minimum or more?) he informs you that the ritual takes 24 hours and after informing an acolyte he locks himself in a side room and starts. What do you do for the next 24 hours?
" There must be like an Explorers League or local historians association or the like around here, perhaps they would know something?", Glimra queried loud enough to be overheard by the temple staff if they felt like offering advice/directions.

One of the acolytes comes over. "I am sorry for eavesdropping but if a guide is what you seek, you best seek out Merchant Prince Jobal. He is in charge of all legal guides. If it is history or knowledge you wish for, then Merchant Prince Wakanga O’tamu is who you should seek. Or you could ask around the city, talk to hunters or explorers you meet. I'm sure they have heard some interesting facts. My main reason for coming over however is that I have had disturbing visions of red-robed wizards operating a secret base somewhere in the Aldani Basin. Grandfather Zitembe has too many other things on his mind, but he’s given me permission to investigate. If you would be so kind to accompany me for my safety, I would appreciate it. I'll provide my own food and supplies, and gladly offer up 100 gp towards your exhibition expenses."
Chazrael shrugs and turns to the others. "I have no objections, but I would like to see what the temple has to say first, unless this journey takes less than a day, then I say let's kill some red robed wizards."

Chazrael giggles as he places the gold in his pocket. " I guess we can go back to the Temple of Savras."

Glimra nodded, " You know...we are not smart people...."
" To the temple!"

Chazrael walks past Volothamp without acknowledging him and going straight for the temple.

Rahkenir goes up to Volothamp. "I'm afraid I don't have enough gold on me. How much for a nonsigned copy?"
Yesqirelle looks at him and sniffs.
"Kelemvor does not wait for you to flip through a book, fool. The only use for that is as kindling.’

Glimra ignored the hawker....though his face did seem vaguely familiar...

"We should also seek out a guide. If we are to traverse the jungle, we will need someone experienced."
