"Oh shit!" The bandit's eyes grow wide as he sees and hears Percival. He turns immediately and starts running in the other direction.
OOC: I'll say with a dash action he's now 120 feet away, assuming you got a little closer before you called out. If anyone wants to chase him, roll initiative. Otherwise, the camp is now seemingly unoccupied.
Burik will sigh, then with in a quiet voice, mostly to himself, says, "You should have talked..." Then releases a bolt of blinding energy towards the retreating figure (Guiding Bolt)

"We can't let him warn any others...." This time talking at the group.
Burik and Percival expertly pick off the retreating bandit. They see him collapse into some bushes as Percvial's blast strikes him. The woods fall quiet again except for a few crows calling off in the distance. Then, some rustling from...the bandit's camp?
Leaving the others to deal with the noise, Burik will deliver a short version of last rites to the fallen young bandit. Afterwards he'll return to camp and the group to find out what they found.
Rigg instinctively runs over to the tents and starts opening them up, longsword at the ready. Two of the tents reveal nothing but some musty sleeping bags and a few wine skins strewn about. The third, however, produces a struggling Breni. She appears to be mostly unharmed, save for some tightly wound rope around her wrists and ankles and a torn piece of cloth wrapped around her head and acting as a crude gag. Rigg cuts her free as she begins to weep. He hoists her up into his arms, and she burries her face in his chest.
Two small chests remain unopened. A scimitar lies on the ground, left by the fleeing bandit. Other than that, there's only the remains of a fire and the tents.
Rigg sits near the extinguished campfire and calms Breni. "I'm not going to let anything else happen to you," he starts. "We're going to get you back to your father before supper, don't you worry."
Percival and Lucina walk around the camp searching for anything they may have missed. They don't find much, although it seems like the two small chests are fairly no frills. They appear to be cheaply made and only have small brass locks keeping them shut.
Burik digs through the tents, turning over anything he can find. Eventually, tucked into one of the bed rolls, he comes across a small coin purse containing 20 gold (you may add this to your inventory).
OOC: Haha, what a time to crit! You beat the shit out of this old brass lock.
Lucina swings hard at the lock and knocks it clean off of the chest. It hits the earth with a thud. She lifts up the top of the chest to reveal an unorganized mess of various vials, scrolls, and other items. You all recall that the merchant from the caravan had his things stolen last night when Breni was abducted. All of this stuff is probably his, and you suspect the second chest contains more of the same.
Burik moves over to peer into the chest, "This could be that merchant's. If it is, we should deliver it back to him, as well as getting Breni back to her father as soon as possible."
If the others agree, he'll carry one chest or Breni back to the caravan.

Burik will holster his warhammer, but keep his shield ready as he walks towards the young man beside Percival.
Percival walks towards the young man. His sword is in its sheath, but his hand is on the hilt, ready for action. "Where is the girl?"

Burik will investigate the camp after performing last rites, seeing that Breni is safe with Rigg. (checking the chests and tents)
Give me an Investigation check. Anyone else, too.
