This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gedyr will have cast shield bringing his AC to 23, stopping both attacks from hitting....smilling and winking in confidence at the blonde. He also begins to call forth his Bladesong....
He raises his Lightsaber and slashes three times, Once at the Brunette and twice at the blonde....or all at the Blonde if brunette is dead.
Bonus Action activate Bladesong, base AC to 21 before Shield
Bala is successful in his attack, the arrow impacting upon the blonde vampire's thigh, causing coagulated blood to seep from the wound and dealing 7 damage.
Both vampires are able to partially dodge Ferdinand's thrown ice chunks, being dealt only 9 damage each. While they are distracted, the warlock charges the brunette, espertly using his glaive to cut at her. The vampire never stood a chance to evade the cutting blade, with it sinking into her flesh twice. The first strike is especially deadly, as it hits her squarely in the throat. The two strikes deal a ghastly blow to the undead lady, and it seems to be exactly enough for her to die once more. She collapses upon the floor, convulsing a couple of times, and then stopping all movements forever.
OOC: redirecting all remaining attacks to the brunette.
Dihek'nir, not to be outdone by the warlock, charges the blonde vampire. His strikes are equally terrifying, with the Cooking Knife searing through the creature's body as if it was tender chicken fillet. The strikes, one to the chest and one to the shoulder, deal a whopping 42 damage, leaving the vampire still undead (instead of truly dead), but just barely.
Finally, Gedyr, with his light-made sword, slashes at the vampire, who has trouble recovering from the barrage inflicted upon it by the Gith. The Elf hits her thrice, with each strike likely enough to end her suffering. As a result, her body is cleaved into three, with the head falling on the one side, the torso on the other, while the feet remain in place, no longer supporting any weight.
With the vampires dispatched, the party has time to recuperate. The bodies of the vampires wear tattered rags and contain nothing of value upon them. However, there is something curious. These vampires are alike, too alike. Their faces are almost the same, with the hair being the only really distinguishing feature. Upon closer inspection, it is noticeable, that the blonde's hair is actually dyed the color. These vampires seem to have been twins, or very similarly-looking girls once. From what you can tell, they were in their late teens when they were turned.
OOC: You have a choice what to do next. You can remain at the entrance, safe from the elements outside, venture out and camp there or return to Chilton, or, alternatively, go deeper into the temple, though if this is done, the manner in which the route shall be lit so that you can all see needs to be specified.
Gedyr will note..."I am ready to continue. I can expand or shrink the light from this blade to some degree." Gedyr will expand the daylight form the Sunblade to 20' and dim light to 35'. "However it means they will see us coming....but I suspect they will already know assuming more of these are present"
ooc: I gave Gedyr his hit points back....knocking ofthe lvl 1 spell slot for shield.
Gedyr will also park his familiar outside to give warning in case something comes....
„Yeah lets rest some time. But for future encounters we have some additional fire power.“ ferdy reffers to the specter. He also sends herring on another excursion deeper into the temple: stealth 19, perception 8
edit: ferdinand also starts transcribing the tiny hut spell from his spellbook into his ritual book
IF all agree to the rest. Gedyr will park himself and his sword still giving off daylight between the party and the further depths of the temple and sit to meditate. "If it decides to come this way I will be waiting"
ooc: Gedyr has already spent his hit dice and arcane recovery, so will only gain one use of Bladesong back. I believe this should get Dihek'nir and Bala their hit points back.....
Herring flies inside the corridor once more. It is still dark inside, but the creature perseveres. It feels that, at some point, the corridor gets narrower, then expanding into a room. The room is almost circular, something Herring can see as there is a very faint dark red glow coming from something at the back of the room. It is still too dark, though, and nobody without darkvision or a light source will be able to function here well.
Before Herring has a chance to do anything, though, something stirs about a dozen feet in front of the slightly illuminated thing (which Herring assumes to be a rather large roundish statue or something similar), and a flash of magic is felt. Herring disappears (it is "dead", so will need to be resummoned).
OOC: You have had your short rest, so those of you who have not rolled hit dice, can do so in the next post. Whatever is inside that room has been warned, so if you aim to go inside, it is better to do sooner than later.
"I will take the lead. If it is a an undead creature as before it will be vulnerable to my Sun Blade, and possible the daylight as well. Once we get close to the room I will teleport next to the statue, hopefully springing any ambush"
Gedyrs plan: cast Haste and activate his Bladesong immediately before entering....than once they are near the entrance he will teleport 30' in towards the statue using misty step as a bonus action. (Sunblade is prelit to 15' daylight / 30' dim light).
Ferdinand will cast thurzons hail right before entering as well. He follows right behind gedyr. As soon as he would see the creature, he casts hexblades curse on it. So his plan would be: cast thurzons hail 1 round before entering and hexblades curse just before combat starts, if possible.
ooc: herring would have been in the shape of a rat, rather than a seagull, if that would have changed the situation.
Dihek'nir just follows the others in, keeping an eye out for any side passages and stuff like that - making sure nothing disturbs the plan as they progress through.
OOC: Nope, Herring was "seen" via magic, not regular sight, so his shape changed nothing.
Gedyr leads the party, with his sword a beacon for others to follow. The corridor soon transforms into a room, at the end of which indeed a faint red glow can be seen. Upon entering it, you see, that the light is coming from a huge altar of sorts, with a crude face carved within it. In front of the altar, there is an opened stone coffin, though there is nobody within. Intead, its former occupant can be seen behind it, in front of the altar.
Gedyr misty steps in front of the party, stopping just near the coffin. Ferdinand attempts to curse the creature before being able to really see his face, but the creature uses a legendary resistance to casually rid himself of any effects the curse could have had. He smiles at the party, giving you a chance to observe him. The creature is clearly a mature vampire, what some describe as a vampire lord. There is no mistaking him for anything else. He wears a blue coat with a crimson cape, has slicked hair and fangs, as well as a red glowing pendant on his neck. He looks like this:
The vampire talks to you: "Tsk, tsk, tsk, must we be so uncivilized? Why fight, when we can cooperate instead? The way I see it, I have done nothing to slight you, while you killed my two children... or lovers, however you want to refer to them... Yet I am prepared to forgive you. But you still attack me... I would feel hurt, if I could feel anything... So, are you prepared to talk, or must I make meals of you?"
OOC: If you decide to attack, you will have won initiative, and this is the layout of the room (The coffin and the altar are both unnavigable, though the coffin can't be used as cover, while the altar can):
Dihek'nir does not like this situation at all. They have clearly been expected and the dude is not scared at all.
So he's going to just go and do a low hum for a while.. sounds weird and disturbing, makes it difficult to concentrate on what others are saying. (using Countercharm until further notice)
> As an action, you can perform until the end of your next turn. During that time, you and any friendly creatures within 30 ft. that can hear you gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.
Opc: hexblades curse does not require a saving throw, so legendary resistance would be to no use.
“So we can talk, but i think this will be a short conversation. We need this temple to be empty, rid of all intruders so to speak. And i dont think you would be willing to leave right?
Gedyr will expand the use of his blade to 20' Daylight and 35'. "I'm afraid the original owner of this temple wants it back....and he has tasked us with taking it....
ooc: Can't get through Chinese firewall again.....
Current AC is 21 before shield. 7 turns left on haste and Bladesong.....
OOC: Legendary resistances have a tendency to be... legendary. Therefore, even though it makes no sense to Ferdinand, it still works.
The stone-cold face of the vampire, for the first time, betrays a tiny flicker of emotion. He seems to be puzzled, though his face returns to the emotionless state in less than a second.
"You are here not for me, but for this... hole? It's a derelict ruin, why does it matter? And the original owner? You mean the extinct species that built it? Either you are lying very well, or something is severely off here..."
We are here for what you call a hole. But more for the god’s sake, that this temple belong to. The reason however is a mistery to us as much as it is to you. In addition to that, we are terribly sorry about your comanions. If we knw there was a ways to talk, we would have done it. Also allow me to ask: did those long extict people allow you in? I thought your kind was hindered by doors of inhospitable folks
Gedyr will have cast shield bringing his AC to 23, stopping both attacks from hitting....smilling and winking in confidence at the blonde. He also begins to call forth his Bladesong....

Attack on Brunette
Attack: 28 Damage: 10 added damage for undead 5
2nd and third attacks
Attack: 24 Damage: 8 add radiante for undead 1
Attack: 12 Damage: 13 add radiante for undead 6
Botting Bala once again, he continues with the approach he adopted previously, remaining in his place and shooting an arrow at the blonde vampire.
Attack - 23, damage, if hit - 7
Meanwhile, Ferdinand's ice chunks explode near both of the vampires, who try to get out of the way of their shards:
Brunette DEX save - 14, Blonde DEX save - 17

Dihek'nir calms down from the battle and says, "While I can continue, I would prefer to rest."
"A short rest for another hour puts us deeper into the night - I can accept this. My hope is we can finish this shortly after."
Ooc: i assume that the specter is summoned.

Dihek'nir will indeed roll hit dice: 6, 7, 7,
