"I'll take that off your hands." Bala will say to Gedyr, then turns his attention to the newcomer. "You can help us fix our boat, or you can shove off."
„No need to be rude, this man has just warned us about dangers“ ferdinand says facing bala. He turns back to the man and says: „i apologize for my friend here, sometimes he doesent know what he‘s talking about.“
Dihek'nir turns to face Bala and the newcomer, "Excuse the cat, he likes fish, but is not used to it biting back. Ha ha!"
"But.. everyone's a bit hungry and that doesn't really mix that well with fighting."
Stepping between Bala and the man he says, "Bala, why don't you keep an eye out for more of these ****s climbing out of the sea and we'll figure out what the nice man wants."
Hearing Ferdinand's question, the Man seems incredulous. He turns back to his ship, as if checking something, then to you again.
"Where the hell are you from that you do not recognize the Imperial Banner?" He says, pointing to his ship. You now recognize, that the banners on the ship have the same symbol of a castle that you saw on the coins, this time in black, over a white background.
"I am here, because I am tasked with patrolling this shore, so that people do not get eaten, if their ships suffer an accident. Though, seeing you walk through here and talk the way you talk, I am starting to think there was no accident and you crashed that ship of yours through sheer incompetence!".
Then, he turns to Bala.
"Being rude is, generally, not a crime, but some officers of his majesty have thinner skin than myself, so I'd watch my tongue, if I were you".
Then, hearing Dihek'nir speak, he lets out a breath, as if calming down a bit.
"Right. I'm a bit on the edge as well, we were not expecting ships at this time, from that direction. Come aboard, I will need to compile a report for the Rear Admiral, and we can sail towards your ship, to see what can be done. However, remember, the Imperial Navy can only offer security and we won't be able to provide any help with fixing or even towing your ship".
Finally, thinking a bit, he says:
"We have not been introduced. My name is Hewer, and I am a Commander in his majesty's navy. Who might you be, and where have you come from? It is not often that someone sails to Havergate from the Darktaken north".
He motions you to follow him as he goes back to the ship. You can see that a wizard is standing on the bow of the ship, aiming at you and casting a spell, which you recognize to be Water Walking.
„Indeed. Would you allow me to have a look at your maps of the region? Our captain doesnt have any. And as our navigator, maps would sure be helpfull in our situation“ Ferdinand feels comfortable in the presence of other seafarers.
Dihek'nir allows the navigator and other men of higher rank do the talking, satisfied that he diffused the situation. He is rather uncertain about walking on the water though, trying to peer into it the whole time.
"We will offer support, but cannot do all that much besides security. I can deliver you to Kirkleigh if you want, though perhaps it would be best i you first visited Needham harbor, as the Rear Admiral might want to talk to you... You seem like an interesting lot".
Then, he turns to Ferdinand:
"Maps? well, yeah, of course we have them... Where exactly are you from?"
„From the stars and beyond“ says ferdinand and chuckles. He then continues with a more serious tone: „unfortunatly i cannot tell you without cunsulting my captain first“
As everyone turns around and heads to the new ship, Zeng will stay back a bit while pulling their hood up. As they walk they will change appearance to look like a more normal dwarf woman with ruddy skin and short black hair, and a crooked nose to go along with it. They will keep the hood up for now.
"From where? Is that some strange figure of speech?" Hewer seems confused, then says "May be should indeed exchange information only after you have received consent from your captain".
Then, turning to Bala:"
"Well, you all look quite interesting, so that could still mean something".
With this, you all board the ship, which, you notice, has the name "The Maid's Fury" written on its bow. The sip is nowhere near as fast as the Void Skipper, of course, but it can navigate the waters quite effectively. Soon, you approach the crash site.
Captain Aella has clearly seen you, so she steps towards the water. Hewer jumps overboard. Aella waves you away, as if asking you not to interrupt them. They converse for approximately half an hour. after which you see Aella hand Hewer a piece of paper and return to her ship. Hewer comes back aboard. He turns to one of his wizards and says:
"Thelsnar, take your squad and guard this ship with your life. Be cordial to the crew and especially to the captain".
The wizard nods and casts Water Walking on four heavily armed men aboard.. All five of them jump from the ship and go to the wreck. Hewer turns to you:
"Now, your captain has told me... quite a lot, it is not easy to take in... Worlds between worlds, realms I never even could dream about... She instructed you to follow me and find... Something... here, you can better understand it".
With this, he hands one of you (OOC: whoever is closest, I am assuming Ferdinand) the piece of paper.
Then, he says to both his crew, as well as the party:
"Now, we sail towards Needham Harbor. We can converse more en route".
Ferdinand, feels great on ships, as he used to navigate those before he joined the crew of the void skipper.
He asks Hewer about the maps „ also, i know this is a quite wierd request, but do you by any chance have a glass eye on board that is currently not in use?“
Dihek'nir accepts his fate and goes to make acquaintances with the crew of the The Maid's Fury. Once he finds someone easy to get along with he asks about who the Maid is in the ships name.
He also asks what are the areas they are not supposed to wonder in and lets the others know. Just out of professionalism, without any hidden agenda.

Ferdinand shows interest in the potion, but is willing to give it to others.
"I'll take that off your hands." Bala will say to Gedyr, then turns his attention to the newcomer. "You can help us fix our boat, or you can shove off."
„No need to be rude, this man has just warned us about dangers“ ferdinand says facing bala. He turns back to the man and says: „i apologize for my friend here, sometimes he doesent know what he‘s talking about.“
"You can shove off, too." Bala spits, tossing his new dagger up and down.
Bazhak watches the newcomer and waits, leaving the talking to the others for now, and resting his axe back on his shoulder.
Bala lets out a huff as he looks out into the ocean.
Perception: 18
„Anyways. What brings you into those dangerous waters then?“ asks ferdinand the man.
Hearing Ferdinand's question, the Man seems incredulous. He turns back to his ship, as if checking something, then to you again.

Ferdinand walks besides Hewer. „Beautifull ship you have here. I remember the days when i sailed on such a magnificent vessel.“
"In fact we are on a scouting mission to see where we are ....we are lost and come from......far lands. Repairing our ship is a priority."
Gedyr will also walk out onto the water...
ooc: Note Gedyr is actually High Elf...picture is wrong...

"We will offer support, but cannot do all that much besides security. I can deliver you to Kirkleigh if you want, though perhaps it would be best i you first visited Needham harbor, as the Rear Admiral might want to talk to you... You seem like an interesting lot".

Bala will turn back to Hewer. "Trust me, these jokers ain't as interesting as they look."
