A search of the bodies turns up 3 silver pieces, and a 50 gold piece gem. However, what catches your eye is that the goblins with the exception of the boss appear to be undernourished. Also, two of them have a manacle on their ankle.
As you ponder this the rain, and wind begin to dissipate. Soon all that is left is a gently falling rain with a soft breeze. Overhead the daylight is beginning to fade. You estimate that you have about a couple hours of travel time before you need to make camp.
Maya would be genuinely surprised by the offer. She’d smile sincerely up at Toonary, “Thank you, friend.” She’d only accept 1 silver piece, and close his hands around his treasures and places her hand on top, “Your friends should appreciate your generosity. I know I do. But don’t forget about yourself.” She’d encourage Toonary to keep the gem valued at 50GP for himself and gift the other 2 silvers to those he felt most bonded with. “This gem can be something that breeds greed and the worst in people. But I can already see you are a giving soul, not burdened by greed and would be the most deserving of taking care of this treasure. There may come a time in our adventure where this may come in handy.” She’d flash another smile before patting his hand and letting it go.
Argus points and shows the manacles to the party. "Interesting. We should start looking to set up camp for the night". He then looks around at his surroundings for a good spot to setup camp and awaits for another suggestion from the party.
Betrand will look them over but not show much interest as bone have anything that would serve as a worthwhile addition to his magic. "Well I doubt that they are the cultists we are looking for. Let us move forward before the sun sets completely."

Toonary takes the gem and puts it in a pocket. Then delivers one silver to Betrand and one to Shirley. Toonary thinks back to Gamal the blacksmith, a friend, squeezes his mace and then looks to Maya to see what the group is going to do.
The Party finally exits the hills as the sun is making its final journey to the west. about a mile away are, the fringes of the Dreadwood. If you hurry you can make it to the forest before the sun sets.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If no one else moves to catch the manacles, Maya will go to scoop them up at the last second and tuck them in her bag. She’d follow along with the group, keeping close to Toonary. With the rain dissipating, she isn’t as bouncy as she was earlier, but you can still catch her splashing in some puddles along the way, humming a soft tune to herself. Maya would also scan the fringes along the way for any herbs or sacred Druidic plants such as mistletoe.
Maya. Off in the distance in the direction of the Dreadwood, you hear faint howling, and strange cries causing you to feel a faint sense of dread. Even from where you are you can tell that the corruption runs very deep in that place.
Maya's humming would abruptly fall silent, and her normally cheerful expression will suddenly drop. She'd let out a little grumble in her throat, feeling the dread creep up with her intuition "Something's a little extra sour about that place..."
Maya would trot up to the front of the group, go up on her tippy toes to see if she can spot or sense anything in the immediate area before continuing forward in the lead when the others catch up, "I don't mean to be Captain Obvious here, but there's something dreadful in the direction of the Dreadwood." She just can't shake the feeling.

"I'll say this about the wilderness. When liquid falls from above, you can be sure it's just water. On the streets of Waterdeep? Not so sure."
"Either way, we're not gonna get any drier standin' 'round here. Let's get moving."
Gridolpho walks a few steps and then stops as a thought nibbles at the back of his mind.
"On second thought..."
The thief moves back to the goblin leader, drawing a few tools from his pocket. He bends down and begins picking the lock on the manacles.
