Seethe was raised by his father in a small fisher village. Life was rough but hard work always paid back at when his father was able to fish a good catch they made fairly well. She learned to fish and her way along his father's boat from early age. His father never spoke of his mother, telling her that she was taken by the ocean. The rest of the kids used to make fun of her pale, almost blue skin, but she passed most of her time with his father at sea, so she didn't really care.
Just four years ago, after a particular hard season, they were looking for fish too far away from the coast when they finally found them. But there was a storm coming, Seethe could felt it in her bones. But his father insisted, and finally the storm caught them in open waters. Despite their best efforts, the boat sinked, and the strength of the winds took them apart. She thought she was going to die... the pain on her lungs was unbearable and she finally open her mouth... to discover that she was able to breath. She prayed to Procan and to add to her surprise, Procan answered, allowing her to save, not only her life, but his fathers.
From that day she has dedicated her life to spread Procan's word and to travel along the coast, knowing that her small community was not enough for the ocean is vast, and she must serve it.

I've been playing/DMing since 1981. As for commitment, I'm pretty dedicated to running my sessions on a regular basis. In regards to number of posts by me, is that I have been in school and working these last few months.
Sounds good then :) I'll submit my unnamed Tabaxi ranger for consideration (trying to come up with a name - will have one soon)
For the past tenday you have been in the seaside town of Saltmarsh attending to some business you had in the town. The town's population is mostly human with a large contingent of Dwarves that, have recently begun to excavate the nearby hills, and cliffs surrounding Saltmarsh. Now you sit in the common room of , The Snapping Line inn and tavern enjoying a bowl of hot chowder, and tankard of cold ale. Glancing out of a window you can see the fishing boats moored for the night. Out in the bay the sun is halfway sunk below the horizon. The crowd of mostly fishermen talk and eat with each other in quiet companionship. Except for one group of fishermen seated at a table near the fireplace. They seem to be having a heated discussion. Occasionally, one of them will cast a nervous glance outside towards the harbor.
As you observe the men you notice some other patrons, outsiders like yourself based on the way they are dressed, have taken an interest in the discussion along with you.
A hooded figure with their face in a book seems to barely be paying attention to the conversation, his only movement is the occasional turning of the page. Despite what seemed to be attempts to blend in, he did a poor job of it as wrapped around his waist is a long red tail that ends in a barbed point. If one looked on his face they would see a pair of large horns that came from the two edges of his forehead with what looked like arcane runes carved into them, this only serving to frame both his coal black hair and his dark glowing yellow eyes.
If anyone makes attempts to speak or father his attention he will look up, pulling some food off his plate and biting into with sharp fangs that could rival a vampire's. While it is clear he was a tiefling it was obvious that he did not come from Asmodeus' lines his heritage coming from a demonic taint instead the greatest of all devil's.
I am going for his family line being caused by involvement with the ancient empires that made deals with demons Lords for power so long time ago his family would have been either nobility or while less likely royalty.
As Betrand hears the talk he will listen more closely but will keep his attention on the book in his hand as he is going about his daily practice of preparing and memorizing his spells for the day.
The discussion begins to get more heated attracting the attention of more of those in the room. Suddenly, one of the men pushes back his chair and angrily stands up. He points at a man directly across the table. "I don't care how good the fishing is there. Casting nets near that accursed place will bring nothing but ruin , and misfortune!" He angrily shouts before making his way out the door, and slamming it in anger. The others at the table say something quietly to the man that the other one accused of violating some fishing tradition, then leave the table. As they walk away from the table he glares at their back.
The crowd goes back to eating, and drinking. A server stops by your table, and asks if you would like some more ale?
Sitting a tad too close to the argument was a young woman with long, shaggy brunette hair. At a side glance she would appear to be human, but a closer inspection would prove otherwise; her pupils are rhombus shaped, much like a cat. Her nails are about an inch and a half long and sharpened to a point. Around her neck are the teeth of creatures varying in size. Laying next to where she sat was a jagged greatsword stained in blood. She nearly reached to grab it, but the arguing thankfully stopped. She drank the last bit of her ale, slammed the mug on table and rose her hand to order another.
