Xil: as you take hold of the strings they become stuck to you after you cut them. Trying to shake them off instinctively leads them to fall and crash into each other. The laughing voice bellows a deep hearty laugh at the tangled mess you left the dolls. You finally shake them off only to find that they’ve been replaced by three new puppets. They resemble Stone, Hallie, and Illsilvar. The hearty laugh stops “Pull the strings, through chaos you lead these to victory. Take your charge.” Before the voice goes back to laughing maniacally.
You recall a Lesser Deity in the realm of dragons. Hlal the goddess of humor, inventiveness, and pleasure. Taking several forms, usually some variation of a dragon.
Xil snaps away breathing heavy. Taking a look around seeing everyone up and remembering that we all had a dream the morning of our escape... "I had another dream. What about you guys?"

Hallie: The Dragon bows it’s head to meet your gaze. Stone blue eyes as large as you, looking at you. Telepathically speaking to you. “You four are the chosen, the Champions of Old. We can not pass through the vale, you will act on our behalf. Dark times call for strange bedfellows. This is your charge.”
Stone would stand over Hallie, breathing heavily as the adrenaline pumps through his veins. His hulking back rising with every breath through gritted teeth. The flames from his axe would shine in his eyes and the bright red and yellow colors would dance across his face as he turns from the sturring Hallie to Xil.. "There have been more than bad dreams visit us tonight" He would growl as he looks cautiously around the campsite with both hands clenched around his axe.
Ilvisar will regain awareness of the world as he watches Stone sunder the black shadow. "What was that?" Turning to Xil, he answers, "Yes, more dreams. Something wants me to renounce Umberlee and 'take my charge'."
Ilvisar will look around to scan for more dangers: 7
My eyes opening wide I instinctively twist around crouching on the balls of me feet in the same smooth motion pulling a long sword out. As my mind catches up with the scene around me I lower my guard slightly. “A dragon in my dreams, yes. But it was silver not green. But then it turned black. I shot it and it turned silver again. It said we...are...their ‘champions’. It felt so real. I even Marked something. I’ve never done that in my sleep before.” I take a count of my arrows quickly while searching my mind for anything about dragons, champions, and the vail.
//Did I use a spell slot from ‘casting’ in my dream and if so would my character be able to tell?
Ilvisar: you don’t see any more dangers. You were in the tides of Umberlee’s domain, but the porcelain mask and blood tells you that was The Raven Queen that saved you from drowning.
Hallie: the arrow is still there, yes you’ve used a spell slot. You can tell you’ve used some magical essence. From the talk about deities in dreams, you suspect in your dream was Bahamut.
"Thanks Stone for saving my life while I slept... OH NO PROBLEM HALLIE, killing the evil specter trying to inhabit your body was no problem at all!" The goliath would grumble aloud as he sits down by the fire.
"In my dream, Malar got struck by three strikes of lightning and I saw myself holding a flaming axe and a voice in the clouds told me to wake up and take my charge... so I woke up and obliterated the evil spirit that tried to kill Hallie in her sleep... you are welcome by the way." He would say tossing a small log on to the fire.
"We are definitely part of something big. I was instructed to lead you all to victory... through chaos... We should pack up camp. Let's move while we talk about this."

While Ilvisar packs up camp, he looks concerned, "If I did everything that I dreamed of...I'd probably be dead. I mean, I've dreamed of jumping off the mast of a ship and flying away. But I didn't go and do it because I know I'd smack onto the deck of the ship, or end up swimming at best.
And I'm certainly not going to be doing everything people tell me to do just because they think they deserve to order me around.
Screw whoever is toying with our dreams and lets figure out who or what it is, and what's in it for us."
“You said something tried to possess me? I think I saw it in my dream. I shot it and it left. It seems you finished it off.” I place a hand on Stone’s hand. ”Thank you for protecting me Stone, I owe you a life debt.” I pull a dagger out and hold it hilt out to Stone. “A debt to be paid in blood.” As you take the dagger I grasp the blade and pull my hand away cutting it on the blade. Then pull the my armor aside, with my non cut hand, exposing myself to a killing blow. Then hold my cut hand out in a handshake. “Payment of the debt is your choice. Either my life now or my blood oath.”
Following the next six days travel, they all seem uneventful as the dreams have apparently left for now. The weather has been lifting to more clear skies and slightly warmer as you walk down the gentle slope of the valley. Halfway through day seven. You notice while walking in the plains, all the birds give flight at once and take to the air. All scattered around, the ground begins to tremble. For two minutes straight the ground shakes beneath your feet before it slowly begins to dissipate.

The hands are green scaled. You awaken as well.

Looking to the silver dragon. “What is going on? Who are you? What was that I just shot? Where did it go? Why did you tell me to save a pirate?”
