Elora thinks to herself that if there's, a trap there's probably an ambush.
She returns back to the group and relays them what she found. I've found a trap along the path, there's probably an ambush up ahead. I think we should rest and proceed together with caution.
You all pull the cart to the side of the road and work to camouflage it from sight. You then take a short rest for about an hour before preparing to head out. What's the marching order for the goblin trail?
That rest sure helped, I'm feeling much better. Good job on the cart guys.
Should we start moving? I will be further ahead, to look for more traps they might have set up.
OOC:
Elora would be moving stealthily and looking for trouble like before.
Stealth: 25
Perception: 12
When we get to that trap I found, I would like to disable it without making sound, if possible. If I realise that disabling the trap would be noisy, I would just point it out to the group.
The order is: Elora - Klarth - Gorne - Vidar - Cinder
Travelling down the goblin trail, you all reach the snare that Elora encountered before. It is a small trap and easily avoided once it is pointed out to you, however disarming it would likely send the rope flying upward into the tree branches. You all continue for about 10 more minutes when Elora notices another trap- a camouflaged pit 6 feet in diameter. The pit covers most of the trail, however there seems to be just enough space to squeeze by.
"I think it's best if we approach carefully." Cinder tries to moves as stealthily as possible while still keeping an eye out from the back of the party.
You all move fairly stealthily along the path. After the pit trap, you all enter about an hour and a half of nothing special happening. It would seem the goblins were clever enough to lay traps, but didn't expect anyone to get past those 2. Following the goblins’ trail, you come across a large cave in a hillside five miles from the scene of the ambush. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side across the stream.
Klarth will help get the cart off the road and hidden, muttering quick prayer to the sun to keep Elora safe as she scouts ahead.

OoC: Gorne will recover some HP during the short rest.
Recover: 8
OOC: Elora also wants to take a short rest
Recover: 9
As for the marching order, Elora can go about 50 ft ahead of the group for scouting purposes.
Vidar will be in the middle somewhere
Klarth will be up front
Gorne will take second in line or also in the front depending on if we can be two wide here.
Cinder will take the rear and keep an eye out as we move.

Nervous buggers arent they. Seems to be more organised than just gobbos. Vidar loosens the sword in its sheath ready for an ambush
Klarth nods silently in agreement with Vidar. He loosens his mace and looks around, trying to see if he can discern anything lying in wait.

Vidar decides sneaking is probably a good idea. but how sneaky can a goliath be? 4
Gorne hearing the call for subtlety also begins to sneak.

Upon noticing the cave Gorne comments to his traveling companions "That looks like the sort of place goblins would hide if you ask me."
Are there any sight of goblins or tracks?
Perception: 15
Gorne, you see some tracks in the area but no sign of goblins currently nearby.
It me or is this too simple? I know they are supposed to be lazy buggers but no guards at all? Smells like a trap to me
