You can see through the briars that a pair of goblins are preparing to fire with shortbows. It appears they are standing in a small, cleared-out area as guards. The briars are not impassable, but they are rough terrain, and the thick brush provides half cover for the goblins. There is roughly 10 feet of brush and briars between the party and the goblins.
Seeing the goblins, Klarth begins to run at them, mace raised, a horrifying grimace on his face. Pushing through the briars and brush, he closes, swinging.
Klarth, you push past the brush and into the clearing. With one powerful swing, your mace collides with a goblin's head, throwing it lifelessly to the ground.
Gorne, also quickly responds to the goblin presence. The fighter draws his blades and darts through the brush. As he reaches the second the goblin he swings with both of his weapons.
Gorne, you charge in and easily dispatch the remaining goblin. Gorne and Klarth now stand in a small, cleared out area in the brush. Planks of wood on the ground keep the briars from growing here, creating a guard area. You can see a few more planks forming a small makeshift path that leads towards the mouth of the cave.
As the group moves into the cave, the sounds of the stream echo through the cave. Just inside the cave mouth are a few uneven stone steps. To the north, the stairs lead deeper into the darkness of the cave. On the east side of the stairs is a small, dank chamber. Within the chamber, the cave narrows to a steep fissure at the far end, and is filled with the stench of animals. Savage snarls and the sounds of rattling chains greet your ears where three wolves are chained up just inside the opening. Each wolf’s chain leads to an iron rod driven into the base of a stalagmite.
Cinder takes a moment to think. "I agree with Klarth. We could feed them the goblins and perhaps befriend them. They could be useful in clearing out this cave."
Vidar walks over to one of teh goblin bodies and picks it up. He carries it back to near the wolves and throws its to land at their feet. Good puppies! Here have something to eat!
You toss the goblin body in, and the wolves quickly begin tearing it apart. They calm down after a few minutes of fighting over the corpse, and no longer seem to be bothered by your presence.
You examine the room thoroughly. Mostly unremarkable, you do notice a narrow opening in the east wall. Further inspection shows that this leads to a natural chimney which climbs about 30 feet to an open area. At the base of the fissure is a pile of rubbish that appears to have been discarded through the opening above.
Initiative order will be:

Being annoyed that she was sleeping on the job, Elora finally wakes up and moves up to Gorne and Klarth.
"Wow good job guys, you made short work of those goblins."
“Should have left one to question,” Klarth says apologetically.

Unsure about what to do Elora asks the group "What do we do about the wolves?"
Klarth looks back outside the cave. "Feed them the goblins?" he asks.
Cinder takes a moment to think. "I agree with Klarth. We could feed them the goblins and perhaps befriend them. They could be useful in clearing out this cave."

Elora looks a bit discomfortable at he thought of feeding them the goblins. She covers her mouth with her hand but shakes her head in agreement.
Vidar walks over to one of teh goblin bodies and picks it up. He carries it back to near the wolves and throws its to land at their feet. Good puppies! Here have something to eat!
You bring the body over and try feeding it to the wolves, roll an animal handling check.

"That worked out well. Do you think they'd be friendly towards us now?"
Cinder steps into the room and looks around for anything significant that may catch his eye.

While Cinder looks around, Klarth frowns, thinking hard. "Could we lure goblins in here? Then the wolves could help?" he asks.
Elora keeps an eye out on the North side of the cave.

She is squatting at the entrance of the cave with the wolves, elbow against the stone wall trying her best not to let anything pass by her unnoticed.
