The way to the Old Man's place is easy to travel. You have been scouring the area for three days now and you feel rather comfortable.
The ld man lives in a large house like hut the stands under a very large tree. It's hard to tell where the house begins and the tree ends.
As you approach a fair number of creture scamper away.

You enter the large area in front of the house and you see a well-tended garden.
A unicorn is sleeping just in front of the door and it looks up when you approach. The creature flees several seconds later. Out of the corner of the eye, you see several humanoid forms recede into the forset. Of the Old Man you see no sign.
"Does someone wish to knock on the door? I don't know who has made the best impression with our friend here." Eso stated as the animals took off, though the look of the surroundings did offer some level of comfort in just how simple it all looked.
Keyyra walks up to the doorbell and rings is as he looks around the forest at the animals scurrying away. seeing the unicorn Keyyra raises an eyebrow and smiles not saying anything
When Keyyra rings the bell a light sound comes from all around but strangely not from'the object itself.
A large bird lands just behind you all and goes on cleaning his feathers. It looks like a very large crow with a silver neckline.
A voice comes from inside.
"Don't mind that oversized crow. He has been waiting for a new crowd for a long time. He is making the most of it. Come on inside. We can talk and I ll set up the table."
Arm would like to hang back, but sees that Balfour has this covered, and he steps up and pushes gently on the door, entering the small dwelling and taking a look around. Greetings, um, sir,he says respectfully as he enters. We are scouting around the area and wanted to check on you. We also have a few questions, if you would care to answer them. Does your crow have a name?
The interior is rather large but you have to stoop down as you go several steps down into the kitchen.
The old hermit is busyaking something. He is bent over a large cauldron and the smell that fills the room makes your mouth water.
"Get the table ready." he points without looking up toward a larger room where a long and empty table awaits. "You ll find you need in the cupboard.i ll be there in a few seconds. This is the most important part."
He continues to fret over he boiling mixture taking several things from above and pouring them into the cauldron.
Ooc: Think Gandalf making food in the Hobbits home but less cramped. 🤔
Eso is confused for a bit, before giving a half shrug and turning to the cupboard, looking for the materials for the set the tables. "Thank you for going through the trouble. I feel bad that we did not bring anything to offer you for your kindness." Eso said as she collected the plates and started to place them on the table in roughly equal spacing, setting enough for the party and their host.
This is so strange, but at the very least if he points us in the right direction, I am more than happy to go along with a nice meal.
The hermit comes and serves each of you a plate. He leaves for a second and comes back with a large bottle of wine that is covered in dust. After cleaning it some he opens it and serves each of you a glass unless you say no.
Once everyone is served he sits at the table and breaks bread.
'Thank you for the meal Father, and thank you for welcoming us into your home. We cleared out those bandits who have been giving Savannah and her boys trouble, but they mentioned something about a "Circle"? Do you know anything about them?"
As he says this, Balfour bites into the fluffy bread and sips carefully from the wine.
The hermit clucks his tongue in disgust when Balfour talks about the Circle. Like something has left a foul taste in his mouth.
"They are an evil bunch. They care nothing for the cycle of life and all that. They are just here to make themselves the fist predators and to do as they wish. They have even begun to create foul creatures like undead and are poisoning other places of worship. They are a blight on the land.I have started calling them Blight Lords. Ther are 7 of them if I recall correctly but only the First is really powerful."
Undead, says Arm, his voice faltering. How long have this Circle been active? Have they sent their... creations... out to attack the cities?
Also, we wanted to inquire about the burial mound nearby. We saw it and left it undisturbed, but it looked... strange somehow. Is there anything we should know about it?
Keyyra grimaces as he hears of them creating undead remembering seeing its effects from power hungry nobles with too much gold. "Well if they wish to disturb those who rest, I vote we give them a little bit of our own disturbance don't you say?" Keyyra says as he checks his weapons "Would you happen to have anything that would help us deal with these pests sir."

Eso was visibly perturbed by the mention of the undead, sitting up straighter in her chair as it seemed to her they were doing more evil than research. Even back in the city necromancy had been something she had preferred to skirt around in her research, the rest of the dead should not be disturbed after all. Her face offering a slight smile of approval to Keyyra as he mentions putting a stop to their actions. "We will soon be known by the Circle I believe. It would be best if we made the first move in the offensive against them. Otherwise, we risk coming under attack and putting the Fort at risk." After all, Savannah had done for them it would be wrong to allow it to come under attack because of their presence, nip the problem at the bud before it became too big after all.
The hermit becomes really serious all of a sudden when you speak of Savannah and of the burial site.
"Yes Savannah is one of the only good thing that this region has, so it would be a great tragedy if something happened to her and hers." He makes a strange sign. " I truly hope you haven't touched the burial site at the Fangs. A barbarian ancestor spirit is buried there. I hope Goralion won't try to do anything foolish like waking it and binding it."

Arm looks around the room, and picks nervously at his armour, trying to contain his discomfort and horror at the discussion of undead.
