Aidan was shocked to see the dwarf practically bowl through the crowd while he struggled to make any headway. This follower of Moradin was certainly a piece of work. He caught a flash of copper colored hair as Emilia ducked through the path Ulfgard made, and went to follow. He slung his shield from his back as he took up a position beside her, although he left his weapon sheathed. He leaned in slightly so she could hear him over the crowd's ruckus. "Don't worry, seen worse than this. Worst case scenario get behind the dwarf, he seems to have quite a...commanding presence."
With his shield as a barrier between himself and the sea of people, he stood tall and squared his shoulders. To his side, he hears the calls of another person trying to calm the crowd. While he hoped it would be enough, doubt sat at the back of his mind. He prepared for things to turn ugly.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The guard nods at Garrin, trying to shout over the crowds continued chanting and screaming. Another tomato whizzed between the two, splattering harmlessly at the jail door. "We'll take all the help we can get. Help me calm these rabble." After all, if he was a mercenary in Baldur's Gate of all places, this wouldn't be a tough challenge for him, right? "Best not use violence unless we have to. Use the blunt end of your weapons and attempt to calm everyone down. I don't want to deal with a riot."
Despite Falcor's best intentions, the crowd responds with another barrage of rotten fruits (and someone throws a watermelon). One man stumbles out into the clearing that Ulfgar made. He is dressed in a white (or what was originally white) shirt and brown breeches. He wears an eyepatch and has a handlebar mustache. He points a curved, shrivled finger at the dwarf, while clutching a bottle in the other hand. "'im and his kind's ilk have done nothin' fer Saltmarsh. Saltmarsh was built on the backs of sailors, not greedy money-grubbing dwarves! And I say ta the Nine 'ells with these Loyalists. This is a town fer the sailors of all kinds! Not fer the landlubbing dwarves, not fer the man who thinks Waterdeep or Neverwinter should be makin' rules, but fer the sailor! The master of the sea! The man who dares to brave the wrath of the Kraken, the Dragon Turtle, and the Sea Herself! I say we take back our own!" He moves to throw a fist in the air, but stumbles forward and falls on his face as the crowd begins to eat every word of it. In an instant, tomatoes become rocks and bricks, as the crowd rushes into a frenzy, rushing toward the jail in a frenzied attempt to take it.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like you all to Roll Initiative. I also need you to make me a Dex. Saving Throw at the start of each round.

DM Rolls (Don't read me)
Loyalist Temperment: 20(Advantage because of Ulfgar)
Sorry there's no letter/number key. The Red area is considered part of the mob, and if you intend to go through it it's difficult terrain unless you use your action to attempt to duck/shove. The squares are 5 feet.
Okay, so each color stands for your character The Orange Square is the Guard Captain. The Orange Triangles are the other guards. The Lightning Bolts are the thugs. The Diamonds are the Thugs.
Once y'all let me know where you are on the map, we'll start.
The fringes of the crowd give way as several commoners push their way to the front of the crowd. Wielding wicked-looking clubs, they push their way to forefront of the crowd.

The first attacks Emelia. Attack: 3 Damage: 4 The second attacks Aidan Attack: 9 Damage: 2 The third attacks Guard 1 Attack: 19 Damage: 3 The fourth attacks Guard 1 Attack: 14 Damage: 1 The fifth also attacks Aidan.
