If no one else will take the grenades, Meiara will safely put them away for when they're needed. "We'll make sure to put these to good use. And avoid accidentally saying the trigger word until we have to use these." Meiara's expression goes back to being pleasant and mellow as she waits to see if her colleagues have any further questions or if the Lady is finished with them and they'll be sent on their way.

"You have to invest the word with a small effort of will in order to set them off," Lady Shiharan explains. "That will hopefully make it a great deal more difficult to accidentally set them off." She glances around, this clearly being the last chance you have to ask any questions.
Meiara looks around to the rest of her companions. "Do all of you have enough food for the journey? If not, I have a spell that can create berries that will allow you to get through the day."

“I was provided a few rations prior to the mission, but that ability will be useful in a dire situation.” Demetrios answers. “I am ready to depart if everyone else is.”
If there are no more questions, the Paladin will rise from his seat and slip back on his helmet before bowing before Shiharan, a hand extended. “Would you like me to escort you out, my lady?”

Lady Shiharan gives Demetrios a smile. "Thank you very much, Demetrios, but you should stay and plan with your new team. I have business of the il-altas to attend to within the citadel regardless."
“Very well.” Demetrios stands straight once again. “One last inquiry then; Will we be provided a map?”

Having come up with a quick plan, the five of you set off for Ralia.
After being provided with horses at the citadel's stables, you start on the road, headed southwest. The patrols of the Harmonious Shield keep roads safe, and directions are easily indicated, so you find there is indeed no need for a map. You travel along one of the larger main roads for two and a half days, and turn to a smaller side road leading directly to Ralia for the last half of the final day.
OOC: If you would like to do any roleplay during the trip, this is your chance. I will move you guys forward on Friday. If nobody wants to do road rp, I'll move you forward once I get home from school (in about 8 hours, 3pm EDT).
I'm gonna take my horse to the Old Town Road, I'm gonna riiiiiiide til I can't no more.
Meiara warmly greets her new horse, running her hand through its hair before she gets on. "If the eidolon is gracious enough to let me keep you, I'll name you Tournesol." Before the group sets off, she casts Druidcraft so that she can get a forecast of tomorrow's weather. "A moment please. The il-altas gave me a power that can predict the weather over the course of a day. Not like we can stop because the weather is bad, but it will at least give us an idea of what to expect." And whether I'm going to bring White T-shirt contests to Riedra.
Druidcraft:
You create a tiny, harmless sensory effect that predicts what the weather will be at your location for the next 24 hours. The effect might manifest as a golden orb for clear skies, a cloud for rain, falling snowflakes for snow, and so on. This effect persists for 1 round.
OOC: Thank you Sassy, for the quantity of references I learned from my little sister in that post :P
Meiara's spell creates a pale yellow orb with flecks of blue-it looks like tomorrow will be a crisp and clear day, unusually beautiful for this late in the year.
OOC: Haha, guess who forgot to give you the time of year! It is currently in the last month of fall, basically. Things will start to get really cold soon-Adar and the mountain Kintams along the Adar-Riedra border are probably already getting snow on the lower peaks.

Vusgaar is far less affectionate with his own beast, for the moment he approached it, the beast started to whinny and shake its head. So, unless someone wished to interfere on his behalf, the Shifter stays strangely focused on meeting its gaze, and staring intently into an eye. "You have been granted a great boon. Treasure it."He comments on absently without breaking eye contact on his horse. After a minute of this the creature calms on it own, and even allow him to step up and brush along its neck.
"Hn. Much better. Let us be off. Once we are closer to the location, as mentioned, I have something that will aid us in scouting the area."He rasps the reminder as he slipped up into the saddle. Thus far, Vusgaar has yet to be seen or acquire any additional weather protection. But others knowing what they knew of Shifters -- and just given how hairy he was in places -- keeping warm seemed the least thing any have been known to worry about.

Once Demetrios had finished latching and securing on his horses saddle, he lead it towards the others and waited patiently for them to get ready for their travels ahead. Upon seeing the man who had been standing at the door while waiting for the lady, and having a moment to spare while Meiara had checked the weather, he approaches him. “Excuse me, sir, I don’t believe I ever caught your name.” He extends an open palm forward towards him, in hopes for a handshake. “I look forward to working with you.”

Prior to hoping on up on his horse, Vusgaar turns to meet Demetrios eye to eye, as was proper. For an instance after however, a look of uncertain crosses Vusgaar's features before being subsumed once more by a face that reflected only pragmatism. "Likewise, and do forgive me. I try not to make too many assumptions. But it would seem, I... erred, in that regard." He reciprocate the offer for a handshake with some lingering hesitation, as he's clearly unused to them. "I have been designated Vusgaar, and... been given leave to practice the arcane arts. Within reason. I apologize for any unpleasantness this may have invoked."

Talaak takes a moment to put a light cloak around his shoulders before climbing on his horse, making sure that his was as far from Vusgaar's as possible. "Good weather ahead, a sign of favor from the il-altas indeed. My name is Talaak, if you are able to interpret the gifts of the il-altas, Meiara, I welcome you warmly."
Jenna approached it calmly and admired the beast, looking it over for nearly a full minute. She smiled softly and gently, slowly, pet the horse, and in her own way, got to know it well, became acquainted with it. She quietly thanked it for it's service and whispered to it, petting it's head. She took the time to adjust the saddle carefully, and with cat like agility, deftly mounted the horse and stayed with the group as they traveled.
While her bright yellow eyes showed the sparkle of personality, she didn't speak much, and it wasn't because she was trying to be rude, but because she was at peace most of the time and enjoyed what the world had to offer. She had a purpose now, and her martial training gave her the willpower and discipline she needed. She smiled to herself remembering the village she grew up in since her death, and thanks to those who trained her, and those she trained with - she had a new lease on life.
She listened as the others spoke, for to remain quiet and listen - there could be much to learn about your teammates.
