OOOOk, so here is where we will start the rp or atleast I thihnk this is the place im supposed to do it so we can differentiate between private and in game convos
I've succeeded in getting in the tavern unnoticed, well unnoticed enough. People are staring, obviously, but honestly, I'd be offended if they weren't. I'm clearly above all those dirty commoners. There's some kind of agitation, people are getting warmed up, but nothing interesting enough to deserve my attention. I'll stay as discrete as my fabulous body allows me to be for now, keeping an eye on what happens as well as on the people around. Drinks are alright though so I'll keep them coming. One way or the other, tonight, I'll be entertained.
Your check was very knowledgeable. From what you can tell the eco system of the forest is trying to intertwine with another eco system. The thicker you go into the woods, or what now seems more of a jungle environment, the more relaxed you become and the pressure of whether your tribe will still associate with you vanishes. Sumazura* see's an establishement of some kind far in the distance. From what you can make out there are shelters but the shelters look as though they are one with the environment.
Aera wakes up coughing and spitting dirt out of her mouth. She doesnt remember how she got. . . well where ever here is. All you know is that your in a forest, "Thank the Gods" you say to yourself. You would much rather be out here with nature than to be stuck in the middle of a town full of humans and all the death and pestilence they bring with them. It saddens you to see the way they treat the natural world and order of things. You look around to see if anything is familiar, however nothing is. Only the strange aura of home that resides in the same area you stand. An opening in the thick forest surrounds you in a 30 ft diameter. A quarter days travel to your right is a massive mountain with snowy peeks, its a breath taking view, and at the peek a misty snow storm blurs out everything. Other than that there is nothing out of the ordinary here.
[OOC] If there is anyone that i havnt started there story private message me. I know there are several but im trying to focus on the more active players atm i would hate to write up a big scenario that someone just never got back on and checked Please and thank you.
You continue following the target but alas the chance to take actions doesnt present itself. You follow him for and hour or so longer, your almost sure that he has something to do with the dealings that your investigating. If you act at the wrong time you could mess up any chance of stopping all the deaths, you have to be weary of the whole situation. You could always just wait and watch for a day or two longer, but then how many more beings will perish in that time?
A Massive man approaches your table with a very large jug of what you assume is some kind of homebrew concoction. In a deep voice he tries to sound as charming as possible (his voice almost sounds cracked and strange) " Wuld a luuvlly lady as urself care to. . hickups.... sharrr a drunk?" " I mean a drink?".
His race isnt quiet clear. But from his sheer size and muscularity you can tell that he isnt human or any smaller sized race. He also doesnt look like an orc in any sense.
Rusty recovers from his trip over the alley cat that appeared almost out of nowhere and as far as he can tell the High Elf did not detect his presence. Rusty has learned that the wealthier a biologic cecomes, the less they notice the bottom of the socio-economic background, if the High Elf would have caught sight of Rusty he would have probably assumed him an intoxicated vagabond. Rusty continues to tail the High Elf and will gather more intel and formulate a plan. This might not be the correct biological responsible for the distribution of the tainted intoxicant, but there is little doubt he is associated with the individual or syndicate. Rusty has calculated that the longer he delays, more biologics will expire prematurely and while Rusty has no emotions on this matter, he wants to prevent any that he can. Rusty knows the number of biologics he has expired prematurely, but not the number of those that deserved his service and it is to this unknown number Rusty believes he must help other biologics avoid this fate from other unscrupulous biologics.
Once Rusty can establish a base of operation for this High Elf, he will make his way back to the alley way and investigate the building he observed the High Elf visit.
Its nighttime in Ring City. You stand in one of the Many back ally's of the outer circle. Your here to make money, your foot is proped up against the wall of "The Lightning Toad" a run down dirthole with booze and one of the shadyest parts of Ring City. The perfect spot to blackmarket sell exotic illegal animals plants and concoctions, even the rare illegal scroll or two. So far you've had no luck, not even your regulars. But the night is young and you could always try your hand in some rigged gambling.
The target suprisingly does'nt notice you, atleast not that your spying on him. He walks toward a shadowy figure standing outside one of the alley doors. He looks around cautiously, but you have already began your act as just some riftraft in the streets he looks directly at you however, just briefly before turning his attention to the person in front of him. They engage eachother in conversation.
The barkeep "Laazeur" or Laaz as most people call him, says "Yooourr welcommmmee" with a slithery hiss. "You are verrrrry intimidating however there are beings and things that enter that city this would make the deads flesh shiver and their half decomposed hairssss stand up on end. Besides you have to be feared in a shithole tavern on the outer circle like this. We stopped reporting the dead at first light after the first 97 cases. Most of them poisoned or throat ssllllit in the midle of the night.".
"You dont know much about this city do you? Where abouts did you come from? How did you end up here? Most every being in Arkadia knows of the monument of a city in the heart of the Common Lands."
“I only arrived a few days ago. Have yet to go into the city. I wanted to get a feel for the place first. It sounds like there is a lot going on right now.” Marun took a long drink from his mug. “I had a business partnership that went sour. They forced me out without cause. I am just looking to find my feet again. Rebuild my reputation. Is there someone I should be in contact with who might need my help?”

Laaz " Thiss isss a verrry. . . complicated city." he replies before continuing to talk with you. "There are always all kinds of thingsss happening in and around Ring City"
*slithers tongue in and out*
" I might know a few individualsss that may need an extra arm or two, what skills do you possesssss? Or maybe sssomething you might be better at than others?"
You wake up in your bed, another day in inner Ring City. Well thats what its reffered to as anyway, you actually live in the third ring of Ring City that has a total of four "rings" so to speak. You have been in Ring City for several years now so you know a bit of its history and layout, and what not to do X__X. The inner most ring is where the first settlers of Ring City made refuge. The Humans built a circle wall of defence around there company. Over hunders of years the settlement grew slowly, and therfore the second ring and hence forth to the most recent forth and outer ring that was built 300 years from present day. So in total the city is one of the oldest intellegable settlements that have existed. Present day inner Ring City is a whole nother story however. The inner most part of Ring City is composed of only Royalty, Exalted Individuals, and only VERY few exceptions to "normal" people. The Second ring is almost of the same but not as many of the strict rules and laws, still not many common people go in the second ring unless they have specific tasks or reasons. The Ring you live in, is almost like a middle class but everyone on the outer ring and beyond consider your section "Inner" Ring City.
[OOC] What are your plans for the day? Ring City is full of almost anything you can imagine, depending on where you go -_^
Another day indeed! The same as a day before, and before and ... you get the point. Nawien considered for a moment not to go to that fat merchant and take a break in scribing - the book was huge anyway (and fascinatingly boring), a day or two would change nothing, really! - but she did need money. Well, another day then.
She washed up, dressed up, went downstairs to greet Matt - tavern owner - and get her breakfast. Morning, no one to see, nothing to hear. Well, may be on the way to the merchant house someone gets under the horse, or kids break a shop window - anything an intelligent person can look at for five minutes without dying of boredom.

Already, you can tell that today will have an interesting amount of events, just something in the air that you can feel deep within you. Or maybe it will just be a normal day. .
On your way to the merchants warehouse you see flyers all over the place. There is a giant skull and cross bones on it and in clear wording it say "WARNING there have been illegal substances killing people in staggering numbers, please dont involve yourself with any questionable contents or persons for your own well being. Please report said sightings to a higher court immediately
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rusty realizes the Elf has spotted him, but does not recognize him as a threat or his mechanical self. He knows his cover is blown for continued surveillance. He quickly calculates a plan of attack to incapacitate both individuals for interrogation and confirmation of involvement. He approaches the pair swaying as he is impaired, scanning the area and the duopoly see if they are suspicious.
As you are about to enter the tavern a regular approaches you. A high blood elf that always seems to have plenty of money to blow. (If you decide to barter i can tell u what items you have for sell produced by rolls of course)
"Hehe, as I said... Entertainment." I murmure, chuckling to myself. I stand up, screening him from head to toe with a pleased but still superior look on my face. I walk around him and say, "What a strong, powerful male."Coming back in front of him, I look at his chest and say,"It's been too long since I've had... since I've felt..."I look at his arms and continue, "...since I've been..."reaching for his arm, but stopping just before contact I look at him in the eye. "Let's cut to the point. I'm interested. Not by your drink though." I say without hiding my disgust looking at his offering. I then look back at his face with a suggestive smile and add, "I've got a way better suggestion for you. Let us play a game. It works both as preliminary and gives you an opportunity to prove yourself." Without allowing him to respond I continue, "I'll dance for you, but every time I do something that makes you want more, you drink. It's that simple, but be sure to show me just how desirable you think I am."Not waiting for a answer, I wink at him and walk toward the stage. On my way there, I call for a bard to hire and take the stage.
