"So do we move on? He thinks for a second. "Hey Grim what does it say on that map. Do those scribbles note anything else any more Giant Apes or what not?"
he looks around to see if anyone is hurt.
"Hey Arddwyr we need a cleric over here to look at Mokk."
Shocked by the beast's roars, the elf can't help but freeze in indecision for a moment after a clumsy sword swing. After a few moments, he concentrates enough to snap out of it as the beast is brought down. Proceeding to approach his companions.
"Great Enoreth! Are you alright?" he proceeds to concentrate on the wounds and channel divine magic into them.

As he is healed, Mokk cracks his knuckles. "Thanks for the healing. That damned thing could throw a punch. He will then slowly turn to who spoke his native tongue.
"I do not doubt that I could have but it is wise to avoid such things if possible."

The elf raises one curious eyebrow and approaches, "I'm curious, hunter, what do you hope to find there?" trying to catch a glimpse while the halfling opens up the corpse.
"This corpse might attract other animals soon, we might want to get a move on." to the others.
Anyone still close to the ape's belly roll a Dex (DC11, DC13 to Ghaoth as he was closest, you may choose to simply have already gotten away from the ape, this roll is partially to based) to evade it's innards and respective acids from spilling over you.
On the stomach they see a half digested humanoid wearing a leather armour, a broken rusted sword covered in acid and another sword that seemed to keep its edge even through the acid, this second sword seems to be stuck in the back of the ape's stomach. They also find a half digested book floating in the acids, seemingly protected from it, but it seems to be burning.
To pick up the sword roll DC 10 str and anything from the stomach DC 11 con.
Arddywr raises his recently acquired shield just in time to avoid the spilling innards. He furrows his brow at Ghaoth for a moment, "Well!" but his face turns to that of surprise once he spots the contents.
Mokk looks over at the others as they dig through the ape's stomach contents, having rolled out of the way before the body could have crushed him. "Anything worthwhile?"

Ghaoth collects a silver made sword in perfect shape despite being mostly encased on goo from the ape's stomach it turns black as its handle tuches the humanoid's body before being picked up tho. (tell me who wants it in the inventory, this is a longsword with +1 to hit and dmg and extra +2 against undead and demons, its atacks are not magic in rgular hands in case of overcoming resistance)
The leather armor isn't in good shape but if anyone knows how to work it it still has ways to be worked.
THe book feels warm to the touch on the outside and as you may try to touch the middle you feel it burn your hands and quickly release it, there is an evil aura coming from it.
"Yikes" said as he flicks the book out of the ape then he leaves it alone "I really don't think anyone should touch this book it burnt me" he wonders what effect that thing was having on the ape.
