"I meant... I meant more so for moments outside of conflict. Whether you are blessed by the Divine, or march to the beat of your own drum, such magic -- once it is yours -- takes a great deal of time to recover in any meaningful way, Chip."Rhogar would reply as he stood to rise. A little over an hour later (and a short rest) the party is ready to go. The sun is beginning to climb above the hills, the sky overcast with clouds, but nothing that threatens rain. Dazlyn and Norbus decline returning to Phandalin.
"Ya warned us of the dragon, that be enough. We'll make better the walls in case more orcs come sniffing around.
Dazlyn reaches into a pack and hands you a small pouch.
"Here are the stones we promised you. And 7 of the gems found in the pillar Good luck to ya all."
7 gems with 10 gp each. And add a sending stone to 2 players
On their way back to Phandalin, Kazri waits for an appropriate moment and speaks to the group. "My Friends. I understand that there is still another job left on the job board, but I would like to propose that we follow a lead that I learned from the person that runs the Lionshield Coster. Her name is Linene Graywind. She told me of a ruined temple south of Conyberry, and that there we may find more information regarding this Dragon that we are seaching for. I have no reason to doubt her story. She said that one of her caravan spotted the creature around the area some days ago, and it was white of color. According to Linene, years ago the locals of the area hid their gold in this temple, before barbarians sacked Conyberry. She surmised that perhaps the dragon was after that gold, and suggested that we investigate the temple for signs of the dragon."

As the group takes their short rest, Chip would play a soft song on his lute (Song of rest, add 1d6 to hp recovered from hit die)...Chip would then pull the amulet from his pocket and place it around his neck before looking to the others. "I am ready to follow wherever you all wish to go. I just hope my fans in town were not too upset that I wasn't around to perform for them last night" The dragonborn would say as he glances down the the jeweled dagger medallion.
"Now that the more pressing troubles have been seen to, I'll follow wherever you wish, Lady Kazri."He said, ending on a heavy yawn. "Once we deliver the good news to the townmaster of course,, we can head right back out, if any are all up for it. Poor soft skin is more terrified then a fish is to fly." He smiles to Krom. "There's Krom's thing as well, and possibly other odd jobs to take care of around town. Though, I'll take a nap once we're there. Sleeping on stone isn't quite the same as grass or beds of clouds."

As the group takes the short rest, Krom will use his time working crafting an hand axe (Artisan's Blessing using as base material one of the axes).
The hand axe's shaft and head are shaped like a dragon, the blade is like shaped to mimic's the dragon's breath weapon.
Krom smiles at his work and walks beside Rhogar saying "I think this will suit you well." He will show to the Dragonborn the hand axe. "I have not named it yet, I suppose you will find a good name for it."
It is around noon that you make it back to Phandalin. You inform Harbin Wester that you have warned the dwarves of the presence of the dragon. He still will not open the door but he does pass 50 gp, one coin at a time, under the door.
As you head back to the inn, you notice that there are also new postings on the job board.
Taking a closer look you see thatthree new ones have been added.
Once back in town, Chip would rush into the inn and apologize to the in keeper, leaving the front door to the inn swaying behind him. "Sorry I wasn't around last night! we were warning some dwarfs of the dragon and the we explored a temple full of skeletons before it exploded and then we were attacked by a band of orcs! The dragonborn would say inbetween deep breaths as he tries to catch his breath. It is hard to tell if Chip has been running for a while trying to get to the shop keeper or just pretending to be out of breath...
"I agree with you lass, we should check out the area near that ruined temple near Conyberry." says Krom walking beside Kazri. "I doubt that the Dragon's lair is in that area, but hopefully we will gather some information about it."
"But before that we should check out Butterskull Ranch and eliminate the Orcs if possible."
There's a glimmer to Rhogar's eyes as he inspects the gift. One could even swear tears were budding the longer he looked at them prior to turning to Krom grinning toothily. Without a word of warning, the bronze scaled dragonborn tries to scoop the dwarf -- armor and all -- up into a great big hug, spinning the man about at least once or twice prior to setting him back down. "You are too good for this world, Master Krom."He says, patting the dwarf on the shoulder, then glancing at the axe. "Its a shame I cannot throw it, least I RISK losing such a marvelously gift. But not a true concern... You have my thanks, Master Krom." Rhogar actually kneels and bows his head, axe held in hand over his heart.
For the remainder of the trip back, Rhogar would not stop admiring the weapon, or let it leave his grip. So most things went over his head until the mention of orcs brought him back hissing and looking around furiously with his axe raised high. "There's no--" He pauses, seeing the board. "Ah hah! Seems we aren't the only ones the cowards seem keen on roughing up! I agree with Mr. Krom. Though... If we can get a few horses and a cart, we might just be able to do two of those jobs at once. I have to secure some leathers for the trip-..." He pats his chest, indicating some of the tears in his fanciful but clearly non-functional sheath of chain mesh shirt. "But anything I have left over, I'll gladly put forth for those four legged wonders."He proclaims.
Kazri approaches Rhogar. "Indeed, Master Krom has crafted another excellent weapon. As for what should we do next. I agree with Krom, we could check this Butterskull Ranch before heading to the temple." Once back at the inn, Kazri asks the innkeeper while eating lunch. "Mr. Stonehill, what can you tell us about Conyberry?"

"Yes, if we wish to go to Conyberry it would make sense to head to Butterskull Ranch. But we could escort Raskin to his mine on the way and then head north to the Triboar Trail and head for the ranch. We would likely be gone for a few days though. But I have no need to sleep in an inn every night."
Stonehill looks at the dragonborn as Chip begs for forgiveness.
"I lost some business, but its ok. If you've been working hard to help the town that's payment enough for me. If you can stay the night again today that will be helpful."
He turns his attention to the whole party.
"Seems you folks are busy these days. Tell you what, business has certainly picked up as folks see your group of adventurers taking care of business around here. Folks be feeling safer and they be coming out more. But I have a feelin you'll be gone more and more. But you'll need a place to stay. I know of a house nearby, no one's living in it right now. Not sure that's a better deal or not, but it'll give a home base to come and go. That cost will cover meals when you are in town here at the inn. What you say?"
"Conyberry is abandoned as far as I know. Supposed to be some sort of shrine south of it, but I don't travel much. But those that do tell me a path runs south of town. Don't know anything other than that."
"We have to consider that Orcs may be still in the area of Butterskull Ranch and in the job board it is written to rush as soon as possible there, we could escort Raskin to his mine, but we will lose precious time." Flail (Three heads Flail)

"Without a horse and cart, we won't be making good enough time either way to do more than clean up, Master Krom." Rhogar says, conspicuously avoiding looking at the dwarf's legs. "But we'll keep you in the loop, and by morning have things settled for sure!" After giving Krom one last pat on the shoulder, he looks over to Stonehill. "On the matter of a home base, perhaps after this next job we take you up on it? Unless of course you know someone in town that can cut us a deal on a horse and cart, we're sore for one. Kazri turns to address the group. "Friends, I believe we should stay for the night, per our hosts request, and I am sure Master Krom will be very busy fashioning our requested equipment.
