Ash gives Svana a curious look before nodding with a smile. "I can do that yeah. Thanks for the cleaning by the way. Can I ask why the sudden interest in a love reading?"
As she asks, Ash sits and pulls the cards from their case, shuffling them all while listening the Svana's reply. After a few shuffles, as makes a neat stack, sits the top card to the side, and puts the rest of the stack in their case.
"Might I ask if you are single or in a relationship? You don't necessarily need to answer but it does help with the reading. I understand if that is too personal a question though. I could just give you the interpretation of both together if you wish."

Ree'lyn finishes up his own cup of wine. Cautiously pouring some more for himself. Again, offering it to refil Amara's. "We make the joyful moments through the bitter ones. I trade. I have scavenged for valuables in a destroyed city struggling to raise again. We are here in a long journey that seems far from seeing its end. Let's take some joy in it Amara. You and I can start making joyful moments out of the bitter ones."
Amara raises an eyebrow, taking another sip of her wine. "Indeed, it seems we have quite the journey ahead of us." she agrees. "What of you? What are your bitter, sweet, or bittersweet moments, Ree'lyn?"
"I travel all the way across this beautiful, yet dangerous, place. Life and death threats are at every corner. You have seen it by yourself." - then he puts on a serious look. "You mentioned your map is important because it is a heirloom. It may also be very accurate on what concerns the Underdark. I need to travel as part of my business. I wonder if your map got places and routes I have yet to know. Would you be so kind as to show me your map?"
"I, uh, um," Svana adjusts how she sits to buy her more time, but when she settles into a comfortable position, she still doesn't know how to answer. She bites her bottom lip before sighing, "Curiosity's sake, I suppose? As for my relationship status, it's... Complicated. So, both...?" She gives Ash a sheepish smile.

Interesting. Well... In summary, It indicates sparks and passion. That may mean either you are heading into an exciting relationship or the one you are currently in will find passion, inspiration and excitement in new projects together. It suggests that you should let yourself get swept off your feet by your partner and have fun in the relationship as it is bound to be interesting and exciting. A good card for a positive romantic reading."
Ash carefully puts the card into the deck with the others once she is done reading, shuffling the cards before putting them in their case. "Was that what you were looking for?" She tilts her head slightly and offers Svana a kind curious smile.

"As I said," Amara says softly, her own serious look appearing. "When I received this map, I swore I would never let it fall into the hands of drow." She cocks her head. "However, I do not think that oath envisioned these particular circumstances..." she muses softly.
"For strategy sake, and out of some curiosity of mine, I must admit, If I can have the knowledge from this map I may be able to guide us through our most wondrous maze." - he says pouring some more wine in her cup.
Amara raises an eyebrow. "Wondrous maze, hmm?" She smiles. "Very well. But it stays with me-you can look and even touch, but not hold it. I'm afraid that will be my condition."
She unfolds the map. Ree'lyn can see that it shows a highly detailed depiction of a large section of the Underdark. It seems to focus especially on drow cities and outposts, and has a set of notations revolving around drow raiding parties and the numbers and likelihoods of running into them. All of it is in two hands-the older markings and majority of notations in one, and the newer ones, including notes about the areas they've just traveled, in a second hand, likely Amara's. A large number of the drow cities or outposts have expanded note sections on the side that detail their basic layout and composition. Velkynvelve has been given a section in Amara's hand now, and along the top is a simple label in the first hand that reads "Amara Riallis", obviously noting the map's owner. Below the name is a subtitle that reads "Riallis Hunting Party Map"
Looking cautiously and attentively to the map, Ree'lyn admires the work. The details and information put together in one single piece is not something to be found easily. "It is, indeed, impressive." - he register as much as he can from the map. "You do know the outpost of Szith Morcane, in the Deep Wastes, the Upperdark region, used to have a cult of Kiaransalee, until the archmage Solom Ned'razak took over after their defeat."- then he looks at her and at the map again. - "So, you are from Riallis family. You...made this by yourself? How?"
What little hope Svana had with this reading was diminished when the word passion had made it past Ash's lips. The noble listened intently to what Ash was saying but she truly could not believe them. There was no way this forced marriage would be 'filled with passion' nor would Svana allow herself to be 'swept off her feet' like some sort of princess waiting for a prince. All she wanted to do was study and to make a name for herself, she wanted no part of this sham, she wanted no part of him and his family.
Again, her hands formed into fists, her teeth clenching as she contained how she really felt about the reading. She burned holes into the card with her eyes before Ash settled it away, hoping that the card itself would combust into flames with how much she wanted its meaning to be anything else but that. When Ash proposed the question, there were no flames, no fires to put out, and all that remained was the dread the elf felt sink in. "No," She answered with utmost honesty, never once feeling the sting of the tears that welled up at the corner of her eyes. "It was not."
Svana excused herself after the reading and rushed off somewhere secluded to weep in private.

Seeing that Amara's eyes looked tired, and justifiably so, Ree'lyn takes the cup back, corks the bottle of wine. Bowing at the elf, he bids her good rest. - "Thank you for the conversation. I hope we may have more of these good moments." - turning his back to her, he knows exactly where he is going next.
"Hello, Lady Svana." - seeing the distress in the elven woman's eyes, he smiles and winks. - "I know just the right medicine for that." - showing the bottle and the cups to her. "May I?"
As Svana rushes away, Ash frowns a little. "Oh... Oh dear... Hope that works out for her then?" She almost guiltingly gathers herself and heads back over the Jezz, lost in thought for a moment. Once she gets comfortable back sitting beside Jezz she offers Jezz a smile. "I don't think the cards told her quite what she was hoping for. I hope I didn't upset her..." She glances over at Svana who had retreated on her own, Ree'lyn now joining her.
After a pause she looks away and back at Jezz. "Anyway... Where were we? Just general conversation I think?" She offers Jezz a half smile, still feeling slightly guilty that the reading upset Svana.

Rashim Tashal, heir to the Tashal family, eldest of four, and probably the most arrogant, self-centered prick you will ever meet in your existence. I've had the displeasure of meeting him quite a few times in my younger years due to his friendship with my best friend and older brother, Amir, and every time I would tag along I could feel his predatory gaze linger on me more than I could bear. As a child, I thought nothing of it, yet now that I'm older, and have grown to be wiser, I soon realized what exactly he was doing to me when he kept his eyes on me.
Aside his arrogance, he was a horribly jealous figure. He could not stand the relationship my brother and I had, sometimes outright banning me from coming over his estate when my brother would go over to hang out with him. I had my sisters, yes, but I was not as close to them as I was Amir. Perhaps it was because I was the youngest of us all that our bond was so easily formed.
After so many years I still cannot believe he is gone. I loved him so dearly, and I will always blame Rashim for his death.
Svana didn't want to make her distress known around the camp, but hearing Ashryn say that her and Rashim's relationship would be 'exciting and passionate', it was difficult to keep the prim and proper facade up. It wasn't the girls fault, she was the one who requested the reading afterall, and Svana hoped that the other knew that before she had ran off to cry. There was no way this marriage would be what she explained. "The cards were wrong," She would repeat to herself as she sat down on the dirt, hugging her knees, hoping that if she held them tight enough, maybe the world would swallow her whole and be done with it.
Thankfully, Ree'lyn had shown up after the majority of her tears were shed, but it was clear to anyone around that she was crying due to her reddened nose and puffy eyes. It was an embarrassing look for her, but the elf couldn't bring herself to fix it. She stared at the glass he offered her, considering for a moment before answering, "Yeah, please."
When he glass was being pour Duke had approached, Svana keeping her eyes focused on the ground in front of her, eyes stinging with how dry they had become. "I-it's nothing... I... I'm just not... Happy with my tarot reading." She forces a light laugh. "It's stupid. D-don't worry about me, I'll be fine, I-I just... Want to be alone."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As conversations gradually drifted off into the private sector, Enkindle awkwardly shuffled back to her corner to start studying the mace; even cleaning it, in her own little way. Elves didn't use such "brutish" weapons as far as she was aware. Though as her thoughts fell along that line, she cannot help but glance back to the motley crew: this band of impossible odds. As soon as her eyes fell upon the drow members again however, any look passive thoughtfulness gets smothered by annoyance as she goes back to studying the mace.
Even if nothing came of it, peace returns to her visage, making it easier to return to keep watch again. Eventually.
Ash gives Svana a curious look before nodding with a smile. "I can do that yeah. Thanks for the cleaning by the way. Can I ask why the sudden interest in a love reading?"
