Jezzika was laying out her pack to settle in for the night when Ash approached her again, but this time with a concerned look on her face. Glancing over to where Svana had left, even Huey would be able to tell that something distressed her. Ree'lyn, and then Duke went to go talk to her, and Jezzika watched the conversation while they tried to comfort her.
"I take it the card reading did not go as well as either of you expected, judging by Svana's reaction?"Jezzika said, patting the ground next to her to indicate to Ash to sit down. When Ash explained, Jezzika nodded, sadly. "Ah, I see."she said. "Certainly something in her life she is not happy about was revealed in the cards, and told her something she did not wish to hear. Poor thing."she said sadly. "Don't feel guilty. I do not think you are responsible for the cards that are drawn - but seeing as I knew nothing of this kind of fortune telling before an hour ago, what do I know?"she snorted in a short laugh.
She set her teddy bear next to her close. "No staring at Ash tonight, do you understand?"she said to it, pretending to mildly scold a child. "That's not nice and you're scaring her."
From his spot, sitting somewhat in the shadows, Phineas watches, unseen as always. No one really pays attention to the gnome. "That map would definitely help me find what I'm looking for,"he thinks to himself. "But would its owner?" He eyes Ash as she moves toward Jezzika before letting his gaze fall back to Amara. With everyone resting, his thoughts wander off again.
"Not again, little one. Not again. Why can't you just learn and do what you're told," his father's concerned face was a mix of anger and fear. "These 'adventures' of yours are going to get you expelled from our clan -- or worse, killed. Leave it be!" Phineas offered his father a quick, confident smile. "It's just a trip down a goblin cave, Da. I know the relic is there. I just know it. And once I get it, they'll see I'm right," he quipped. "It's not like I'm going to the Underdark."
Movement of others shook the gnome from his thoughts. His eye resettled on Amara. "The map,"he thought to himself. "I need a look at that map."

Bowing courteously, Ree'lyn extends his hand passing the cup to Svana's hand. Never taking his eyes from hers he pours the wine in both cups. Touching his cup to hers, he makes a subtle yet gentle motion before her cleaning off the tears and offering a little warmth to her skin.
" Lady Svana." - Ree'lyn's voice is soothing like his eyes looking at her. " Perhaps our noble Houses have their differences on some things, but having good taste for exquisiteness seems to be our common trait. I am glad for sharing this preciosity with you."
She had hoped Ree'lyn would have left her alone after pouring the glass, but she didn't say anything about it. She only hoped he wouldn't question her. Despite the tears being wiped away, her frown remained, even when she took the cup filled with wine and pressed it to her lips and took a sip. "It's what we are made to know," She says lifelessly. "We're to have the best and nothing but the best..." What a lie.

'here they are', Ree'lyn thought. - 'The words spoken out of obligations for the sake of never losing the high ground.'
"Do you really think our high ground games are needed now? Mind you, I can play it. Very well, indeed. But why waste such a good wine when we could have the bitterness out of this conversation? Relax. Stretch your body." - the drow thought he knew just the thing to reach out for the real Svana. Ego. - "Evermeet. Cormanthyr. Cormanthor. Myth-Dranor" - he looks at the elf while naming the elven kingdom, cities and the forest he only knew by name. - "Do these places bring joy to your heart? Do you have any memory related to them that would make you smile, however briefly, in this conversation of ours? "
Ash let's out a small chuckle as Jezz scolds the bear, smiling and nodding. "Thank you for that Jezz. I just hope she figures out what to do about what's bothering her. Svana I mean... I am, however, reassured the Duke and Ree'lyn are attempting to comfort her." She pauses in thought before humming slightly. "It is also possible that the card does not mean what she interpreted it as. The cards are highly interpretative. It is always possible they are pointing to something else that what you were initially trying to find out." She seems to slightly awkwardly fluff her hair in thought.

She... took me in and I've been with her since...We traveled a lot, but it was the life I grew up in. That we all grew up in. And if I'm honest, I do miss it. I just... hope she isn't too worried about me. She's older you know... I don't want her doing anything reckless." She becomes quiet as she studies the stars and galaxy above them in thought. After a moment, she offers Jezzika a smile. "So... um... what about you Jezz? Anything you'd like to share?"
