Hallow: You approach the stone door, it has carvings that show skeletal dragons with some extra cravings that you are not quite sure what they are. They just look like random lines etched into the door. You get within 5-feet of the door and the air around you is noticeably cooler than the air inside of the Citadel. You go to open the door and it is cold to the touch, the door is also locked and there is an audible click. A scythe blade springs forth from the ceiling and you take (Attack: 18) 4 slashing damage.
Arashi has slightly been spacing out for the past bit, following the group in to the rooms as we explore. The sound of the scythe springing forth jolts Arashi back into reality. He then rushes over to Hallow.
"Are you alright, Hallow? We might need to be a bit more careful if there's going to be traps like this still active."
Once Arashi verifies that Hallow is stable, he goes up to the door carefully and puts an ear to it to listen if he can hear anything on the other side.
Arashi: The door is cold to the touch and straining your hearing, all that can be heard is silence on the other side of the door. The markings on the door do catch your attention and you recognize them as Draconic writing that reads as:
"Rebuke the dead, open the way."

”Oww... I think I'm good, it did cut me a bit though, I think the door’s locked too...” Hallow says, clutching her cut arm. She walks towards the scythe, poking it with her finger annoyedly
Aaidi had followed Hallow as she entered the room, although trailing a few steps behind. His eyes open wide in alarm when the scythe springs out of the ceiling, instinctively moving backwards a few steps.
"You're not having a good day, are you, Hallow?"He asks, with some amusement, once he regained his footing. "Are you sure you're fine to move on? I can help patch you up, as needed."
He lifts his head, turning to Arashi.
"Found a way to open that door, or is this a dead end?"
Arashi looks back at the group and mentions to them what he finds out when checking out the door.
"I can't seem to hear anything on the other side, but it says on the door in Draconic "Rebuke the dead, open the way." Anyone have any idea what it might mean?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Arashi takes Shauku's advice and heads back towards the initial room they came from while paying close attention to any more Draconic writing he might notice. After getting back to the first room, he'll proceed to the southern door and inspect it for writing. If nothing catches his eye, he'll try and slowly open the door and enter.
Arashi doesn't spot any other Draconic writings and the door is clear of any writing. Opening the door you see that it opens into a hallway that is about 10-feet wide and immediately turns to the west and travels about 45-feet before turning to the north.

(OOC: Shauku finds all the traps by setting them off, lol)
You follow the hallway as is turns to the north about 45-feet in, where it narrows to about 5-feet wide and continues on for about 10 more feet. The hallway widens back to 10-feet and turns back to the west and ends at a closed wooden door. Luckily this hallways seems to be lacking in traps.

Crudely executed symbols and glyphs, scribed in bright green dye, decorate this large and irregularly shaped crumbling chamber. A large pit in the center shows evidence of a recent fire. A metallic cage in the middle of the southern wall contains a gaping hole and stands empty. A small wooden bench draped with green cloth is next to the cage, and several small objects rest on it. A bedroll lies near the wooden bench, and the sound of whimpering comes from inside it.

Shauku looks at bedroll, then at the rest of the party,...he shrugs...then looks at the bedroll again...Then he looks at the green symbols and glyphs while whispering to the bedroll: "You needn't whimper anymore...if you are danger, we are friends...."
(OOC: Can I recognize or read any of the symbols/glyphs?)
Unfortunately, Shauku can't make out any of the glyphs but they do have some resemblance to the marks on the skeletal dragon door. From the bedroll rolls out a kobold who looks frightened and weepy; he is covered in numerous scars. "F-friends?"

"No clue. How about checking the other door for more Draconic first?" Shauku asks
”Yeah, maybe you patching me up might be best” Hallow says to Aaidi
”I agree, this room seems to be a bust” Hallow responds to Shauku
