Lorminar's expresion goes from calm to worried once again, "Dr-dra-DRAGON?" He turns to the group wide eyed, "Lets avoid that at all costs, yes?" His hands visibly shaking again, he tries to steady his grip on his bow. "We need to get moving. If you take us to Yusdrayl, how do we know we won't get attacked?" He asks Meepo.

"We will ensure his loyalty. We will give him the Demon's Mark!"
Kerby waves his hands theatrically, (Prestidigitation) conjuring a metallic red gargoyle head in his hand. He stage-whispers to it "His name is Meepo. His bond is Safe Passage for my companions and I. His penalty is Death by Osteocranial Fulmination"adding over his shoulder to Lorminar "That means his head-bone explodes." while he walks behind the kobold and presses his sleeve-covered palm to the back of the creature's neck, mouthing the incantations to cause the sleeve to heat.
"Now you carry his mark, your word shall be your bond Meepo. Or your undoing."
If required, Deception : 25 - basically trying to convince him he's been branded.
Delg holds the bridge of his nose with one hand, closes his eyes and counts to five.
“The life of a cleric is fraught with difficulties... so it has always been.” He seems to be quoting something to himself. “Lead on, Meepo. You seem trustworthy, I have no doubt you’ll be an ally if Kerby gives you a chance to be.” With a somewhat irritated look at the prankster.
Meepo who was frightened already is now utterly terrified and just stands frozen in place like a statue. Tears well up in his eyes and roll down his face to drip onto the floor as he tries his best to just not burst out crying.

"Meepo, meepo, meepo. I know this must feel a little overwhelming, and I want you to know that we're all on your side. But the Mark is upon you, the clock is ticking, and failure to act is considered a breaking of your bond, so chop chop, chum. Let's get going before I have to clean what's left of you off my tunic."
Meeop just nods and leads the party a little ways deeper into the citadel, rubbing the back of his neck and saying something loudly in Draconic. Kerby understands the word to be "ticklecorn." Meepo eventually leads you all to a room with a short throne stands near the west wall, constructed of fallen bits of masonry stacked against an old alter. On the top of the altar sit a verity of small items. The portion of the altar that serves as the throne's back features a carving of a rearing dragon. A metallic key is held firmly in the dragon's open jaws. Sitting upon the throne is an older looking kobold in loose fitting white robes that look like they were made from either bed sheets or window curtains. Meepo introduces them as Yusdrayl.

Lorminar follows Meepo quietly, keeping to himself. He isn't quite sure if there was actually a curse laid and is still trying to understand the possibilities of such magic. As they approach the.. throne room.. Lorminar brightens up. "Yus-drae-el, what a pleasure to meet you!" he bows gently, "We are a group of adventurer's looking for a previous set of travelers who have come through your wonderful.. erm.. kingdom? Yes. Kingdom. There are two among them we are here to find. Have you seen any other adventurers that have come through here?" Lorminar then stands straight and takes in the sight of the room before him.
Yusdrayl sits up on her throne. She and the two other koblods, that appear to be better armed then the rest, watch your group carefully as Yusdrayl says, "There were some adventurers that came through here. They went off to fight the goblins and have not returned."

Lorminar takes in the information he just recieved, looking wearily at the surrounding kobolds. "Have the goblins been thwarted then? Did they are least lower their numbers?" Lorminar hopes the answer is yes as it could indicate the brother and sister are still alive.
"Pertinent questions indeed, Lorminar. Fight the goblins, eh? Just like that? Your eminence, I don't suppose you might have used your majestic presence and - if you don't mind me saying - imperious beauty to compel them to fight these goblins?"
(Kerby suspects the goblins might be something of a threat or at least competition to these kobolds, and there might be something on the table if we agree to go 'talk' to the goblins with extreme prejudice.)
"Thwarted the goblins? No. We don't know if their numbers were lowered. The adventurers had their own reason to go after the goblins, we did not compel them in any way." Yusdrayl replies to your questions.

"Could you show us where they went? We are on a quest to find them. Any help would be appreciated." Lorminar stays alert while the conversation continues. "Or perhaps you have some sort of map or.. marking you have left behind that we could follow deeper into this Citadel? Oh, and one last thing.. uhh.. Meepo mentioned a dragon. I think it would be best if we didn't meet this dragon.. so.. if you know where it is, could you lead us away from it?" Lorminar winces as he mentions the dragon as if simply thinking about it is pain enough.
OOC: What are the 'guards' doing while we talk? And are there more kobolds around?
Yusdrayl taps a clawed finger against the stone armrest and glances over at Meepo, "Meepo can show you the back way to the goblin's territory, and continue on with your party if desired. As for our dragon... it was stolen by the goblins, so we don't know where it might be. But if you do find it and return Calcryx to us, I shall grant you a reward." The guards are just standing there mostly keeping an eye on the party. A quick glance around the area shows that there are more kobolds in the area most of them don't appear to have weapons and are just spectating. You can spot a handful milling about that do appear to be armed in some way; either with crudely made melee weapons or bits of cloth and leather made into slings.

"your dragon? *Your* dragon? Your majesty, one might fence in a chicken or a rabbit One might cage a man, should he prove unruly. But a *dragon*??? One places a dragon on a leash much like one puts ones one head in a hot oven. Carefully, and only after first becoming unenamoured of life!"
Kerby is a little taken aback and starting to worry about that busted cage.
"But nevertheless we will seek out this Calcryx for you! Come Meepo!"
Lorminar's thoughts wander when told that this simple kobold has a dragon as a pet, is that really possible? And could Lorminar then have one too? The thought was exciting, but then Kerby knocked sense back into him. No, it can't be possible.
"Yes, yes lets be off then. Meepo, lead the way. Thank you Yusdrayl, for your wisdom and knowledge. Your kindness will not go unnoticed, perhaps we can clear out some of this goblin threat for you." With that, Lorminar gets in line behind Meepo.
Meepo, still nervous and scared, leads the group back to the room where you found him and to a door in the Northeast corner of the room. "This is back way to goblins. M-meepo has been helpful. Meepo can just stay here and head back. Meepo doesn't know much else past here." He says kind of hopefully and rubbing the back of his neck.

Lorminar looks at the creature carefully as he speaks.
Insight to see if he seems to be holding back information about what he knows beyond this point: 16 Regarless of the result, Lorminar simply nods.
"Okay Meepo, you did well by us so far. Thanks for your help, go back to the others and let them know we are off to fight the goblins." Lorminar then turns to the door in the Northeast corner and tries to hear what he can through it, specifically trying to make out any dragon sounds. If there are no dragon sounds, Lorminar will open the door.
Insight: Despite him being frightened of the group, Meepo has been pretty honest about what he knows.
Perception: Aside of the occasional sound of wind whistling through the cracks and crevasse in the citadel, the area beyond the door is silent.
The door is unlocked and the hinges squeak as the door is opened. Beyond the door is a hallway that is 10-feet wide and travels for 25-feet to the east before it turns to the south. Following the hallway, it narrows and turns south for a few feet before turning east again and widening out; at the end of the hallway is another door.
