Benagol is too far to appreciate what is happening and was not ready to hold fast one of them from falling.
Anyway he hears some rat(s) sqeaking and Lorminar yelling: it is pretty clear what happened.
He happened to have some dried meat in his pouch: he takes one of these treat and launch it in the direction of the yelling, hopying the rat will enjoy it better than fighter calves

Senry looks at them both absent mindedly walk in with astonishment and tries to yell out but the click gets there first and hearing the yelp he draws his bow and peers down the side.
Initiative order: Lorminar Giant Rat Senry Benagol Delg Kerby
Lorminar, you are up first. The giant rat just took a good chunk out of your leg and a piece of dried meat has landed in the pit almost hitting Delg. The rat seems distracted by the dried meat for now.

Lorminar is still startled by the attack he took. While the rat us distracted, he moves quickly to get out of its threat range. "My leg!" He shouts as he backs out. He steadies himself and readies his bow as he moves to relative safety. "Thanks for the distraction." He says, sort of to himself, as he knows not where that dried meat came from.

The pit is only 10-feet by 10-feet, so not much room to move around. So Lorminar finds the farthest corner of the pit, that is away from the giant rat.
The rat is going to look at the dried meat and see that Delg is close to it. The rat scampers at Delg and goes to bite him. (Attack: 17Damage: 6 Piercing.) The rat goes to bite Delg but misses any open spots in his armor and instead ends up face first in Delg's beard with a mouth full of hair.
Senry, you are up. You see Lorminar backed into a corner and a giant rat attacking Delg.
ooc: is there a way of jumping and not getting 1d6 damages? I guess not, true? if not, is there some kind of handhold where to tie a rope? maybe around the cresellation of the tower where we stand now?
(OOC: You could take your turn to try and climb down without falling. You could use a rope, there are some parts along the wall of the courtyard that you could tie the rope to or someone could hold one end.)

Delg realizes the troubles the others are having, and makes to hold the beast still. He launches at the giant rat, holding his shield between them to try and hold it against the wall so one of the others can put it down.

Kerby saunters over asking "What's all the fuss ab-F*** A PIG!"his tone and demeanor altering significantly when he sees the bloodied pair below and the ball of fur they're wrestling with. "Any chance that thing's friendly?"he offers, as it snaps at Delg and writhes against the wall. Unable to see this as anything but a negatory, he swishes his wand and declares "Fabam Frigidus!"
(Am I right in thinking that I can take a rope out as a free interaction but I can't tie it to anything or drop the other end of it down the pit without using my action to do so?)
The ray of frost hit the giant rat and it lets out a squeak of pain as you see ice crystals form on the part of its fur where the spell hit it. It looks hurt but is still kicking and fighting against the shield.
Top of the round. Lorminar you are up, there is another audible click and the trap door beings to close as the trap resets.

Lorminar makes it out of the pit and just as he clears the hole, the door to the trap closes trapping Delg and the giant rat inside.
From the inside of the pit, Delg, you notice that the lighting of the place shifts for a moment and your vision comes back but everything is in a gray-scale.
The rat is going to attempt to wiggle out of the grapple. (Dexterity (Acrobatics): 12 vs Delg's Strength (Athletics) to hold the grapple).
Senry, you are up.
Benagol, you are on deck.

ooc: I am at loss: I was about to climb down on a rope but the rope has been used by Lominar, right? If i understood well...
Seeing that Delg is still at the bottom of the pit, Benagol tries to recall what happened to ACTIVATE the trap and tries to replicate the event, but keeping the rope in hand
Kerby, seeing what Benagol seems to be doing, looks from the rope he's holding to the warrior to where the pit used to be, hoping that his plan has more parts than "fall in the pit, hope to survive, help".
I can't throw the rope to you till my turn but if you're using your movement to set off the trap, you can use your free interaction to take the other end of the rope so there's some kind of mitigation for the fall damage. Bearing in mind that Kerby is weak and light, and it's more likely you'll pull him in on top of you :D Might even leave you with an action down in the pit, but arguably actively searching for the pit activation is the action here.

ooc: sorry for my english, what does YOU ARE ON DECK means?
,
(OOC: It is a phrase used to say to be ready for action, especially as the next person in line.)
Senry takes aim at the giant rat, but in fear of hitting Delg aims a bit too wide and the arrow flies past Delg and into one of the goblin remains.

Benagol searches the rope inside his trunk and ties it around the wall of the courtyard , so also the others can use it.
